This sushi place is a bit expensive for just regular sushi. I was not excited by the menu and I thought the quality of service was average. The decor is nice and the place is clean. The food tastes good though.

Miyako is a great little Japanese restaurant. I loved the Miso soup and sushi plate. You do get what you pay for here, and the service is very fast and friendly.

Since we live in the area, we used to frequent this restaurant a lot, with great success. We went in shortly after the price 'hike' and thought well, fine, the prices went up, we can understand that. However the quality went down! The food was dry and otherwise not as tasty. You could see in the kitchen that the ginger/wasabi plates were sitting in a row, left over from dinner rush. They skimped on the quality cooks and food they had for cheaper food/labor, and charged more for it. We haven't been back since. We had better luck at the regular miyako restaurant on Kirby. It's a shame, too; little miyako was more convenient!

I have eaten at little miyako many times and have found their food to be great and their service to be even better i think their prices are very reasonable. Hope every one can experience their food and enjoy the service that they provide even if it is a fast food restaurant restaurant. i strongly disagree with the other review posted on little miyako. i feel their one of the best sushi places out there

The 1st time I called them at 8:31 pm on a Sunday evening back in April with my call in order. I already knew about the sign that says no call-ins 15 minutes till closing. The lady began to tell me that it was to late to take my order although I called before 8:45. I told her I live around the corner and I really do. That time she eventually grudingly took my order after I told her my clock and watch both say 8:31. She had words with me again when I arrived. I didn't argue cause I was hungry. The next week I went there to put in my take out order at 8:35pm give or take. They close at nine and no were is there a sign that says no orders after 8:30pm. The same lady refused to take my order this time, SHE GOT NASTY TOWARD ME and gave the same lame statement that the chefs leave at 9pm. Well....If the chefs leave at nine they should post a sign saying no orders after 8:30pm. I did not bother to argue with her and I did not think to ask for the manager. I didn't want them to mess up my food. I just want everyone to know that they gave me terrible service and for all to beware and find another sushi bar. BY THE WAY i WAS WORKING A CRAZY SWING SHIFT SCHEDULE at the hospital SO THIS WAS THE ONLY TIME I COULD GET THERE.

Their menu prices also went up $2! recently and their slices are small, they were the best near me.

What ever happened to Miyagi Bowl...............

Please avoid this resturaunt in protest to the way they treat people.

In Short
After 20-plus years, Miyako still corrals a ravenous after-work crowd of sushi-loving bargain shoppers. The traditional Japanese setting--starring a roomy sushi bar--makes it feel less like a chain. Bargain-priced sushi…
