I took an '07 Taurus with 10k miles to have one tire replaced as it had a nail in it.Some asian tire fitter told me they could not replace one tire, I would have to have a whole matching set at a cost of $268.I asked for the manager (a colored gentleman) and told him I wanted one new tire only as the others were only about 30% worn.He said Company policy was to fit 4 tires in this instance and that I had an attitude.I left and went to Discount Tire store on Flamingo where a friendly worker took the tire off immediately, repaired the puncture and replaced the wheel all in 10 minutes.When I asked the cost of this excellent service he said it was his pleasure and if I needed any tires in the future come and see him.I have bought many tires from them since and recommended them to everyone.So who is the smarter? I would never return to the Sahara store.I guess a company is only as good as their employees.
