This club has lots going for it, and most members stay, even if they have issues. The cost is relatively high considering the lack of parking or pool. I think the staff are pretty good, but they could certainly be friendlier.

I did not stay because I don't like dancey aerobics classes with a frustrated choreographer up there doing her own thing and not caring if attendees don't get it. (The best aerobics classes in the area are still at the L Street Bath House, but alas, too far for me.)

The exhibitionism in the Healthworks women's locker room creeped me out too. I have had memberships at 5 major high-end healthclubs in the area including the University Club and Sports Club LA, and I have never seen anything like it before. Maybe it's a Cambridge thing.

I would go back if they got more basic aerobics and step classes back, instead of the current flavor of the month.

Pros: Location, hours open, equipment, women-only

Cons: Cost, not enough good basic cardio aerobics, the nudist colony
