We rely on TempTime when we extra staff or assistance with specific projects. We have been thoroughly impressed by the calibre of staff they send us. Everyone we have worked with has been professional and reliable. Debra and Ana take extra care to make sure they find someone with the right skills for the specifc project or assignment. They always check in to make sure things are going well

Monroe Personnel is the best temp agency I have worked with. After moving to San Francisco from Austin, TX I decided to try temping to learn about the area and the job market. Monroe Personnel was one of several agencies I signed up with. They have kept me so busy that I haven't been able to go on any assignments for any other agency. They were also the friendliest agency I have dealt with. Debra, Ana and Mindy definitely make you feel like they care and appreciate the work you do. I highly recommend that anyone who is looking to sign up with an agency in the area submit their resume to Monroe.

Working with Temptime has been a great experience. Their office is friendly and everyone involved is there to help you find nice jobs that fit your schedule. I have temped at interesting places and Debra even found me a great temp-to-hire position.
I would recommend Temptime to anyone who may be nervous about trying temping for the first time. Debra and her crew helped answer all my questions right away and are fun, friendly, and easy to talk to.

I've been with the agency for about a year and a half, with a break in between, and my experience has been great. Debra e-mails me and likes to ask how I'm doing and has always let me know that if I'm not satisfied with my job or have any other issues, to please let her know. I've never felt like I couldn't talk to Debra about anything, and because of that, I'm appreciative and am in a good working environment. Debra found a job that fit my schedule, which is hard to do when you're a graduate student, and now I'm happy where I'm at. Temptime is an agency that cares about people, so if you're looking for employment from a reputable and caring agency, then this place is it!

This was my first time using a temp agency and I was very impressed. Debra had a job idea for me the same day I interviewed and had a job within the week. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. After only a month I had an offer for a full time job. If you're new to San Francisco and needing work, I recommend Temptime above all else. They take into consideration your skills, personal interests, and location (She knew that I used public transportation so she didn't offer my jobs waaaay on the other side of the city).

Overall a great experience!

I came to Temptime looking for some casual work while I got things together. I didn't go in expecting to find anything permanent, but on only my second assignment I was paired with a wonderful opportunity that I would have never even thought to pursue on my own, and it was at a higher pay rate than I had even dared to ask for.

My experience with Temptime, and Deborah in particular, was always smooth. Communication was the best I've ever had with a temp agency. Check-ins went beyond mere formalities. Deborah was genuinely more concerned with my opinion than she was with a bottom line.

If you are looking for temp work, and you are able to connect with Temptime, it will be an incredibly positive experience in your life.

Temp agencies aren't exactly known for their warmth. More often than not, I feel farmed out to a drab, corporate cell block with my WPM and GPA pasted to my forehead.

Remember when Dorothy enters Oz for the first time, and it's absolutely magical - we find COLORS, warmth, and wonderful things?

Well, in this analogy, Temptime is Oz, and owner Debra Monroe is Glinda. That's the highest of compliments.

Never before have I felt so valued as an employee and welcomed into a family - she's personally invested in your happiness and well-being, not just your MSOffice score.

Debra continues to send truly terrific jobs my way, and I'm eternally grateful for her uncanny intuition when it comes to finding gigs that match my needs and really engage and challenge me.

Above all, she scores major admirability points for her constant quest to involve herself in her community and keep her business the best in the market - she's innovative, enthusiastic, curious, and just plain fantastic.

Temptime was my first experience with temping and I thought Debra and the rest of the Temptime staff were very friendly and professional. Debra has a warm personality which makes the temping process less intimidating for first-timers. Debra really takes the applicant's interests and background into consideration when selecting jobs. Although I only needed temp work for about a month, Temptime found me a number of great assignments, two of which offered me full-time positions. If you are unsure of what you want to do and just want to explore different careers, I think Temptime is a great resource. Debra is also very attentive to both her clients and her temps; she will regularly touch bases with them to make sure everything is going smoothly. If I ever need to temp again, I would definitely go back.

I have been temping with Monroe Personnel Services for about 5 months. I contacted Monroe a month after I moved here from New York City. Enrolled as a full time student at Golden Gate University I needed flexible part-time work. Having just gotten here, I also felt that I needed to familiarize myself with the new and different company cultures of San Francisco. I did not mind working with small or large companies, but I did want them to be reputable, forward thinking ones with a staff of great work ethic. I have been fortunate enough to continue achieving those goals with every new assignment from Monroe Personnel. When I do complete my BA in management at the end of this year, I will be well prepared to enter the San Francisco workplace.

Cold......I happen to be in the area yesterday 1/29/07 for another interview. I was quite surprised when I walked into Monroe?s office. The receptionist made me feel as if I was interrupting her day even though I did apologize for coming in without having an appointment.

I informed the receptionist that I was looking for temporary work and asked how to start the process. She informed me that typically a resume is submitted via the internet or fax and they would set up an interview after receiving it.

I politely told her that I thought maybe they had my resume on file because I had submitted it already. She checked her computer and did find it. She said they had received it on 1/16/07. She informed me she would print it out and give it to the owner (???).

I have not heard anything since.....

It was a very cold atmosphere, though I did meet some great professional people at other agencies nearby.

The company is incredibly reliable and friendly people who really appreciate the work. We have used over three temps and every one of them have been amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Their prices seem totally fair too.

Pros: Save a huge amount of time in finding a qualified person for a short time.

Cons: Hard to let them go!

I like them because they REALLY care! They really take my working experience and skill into consideration and do their best to match me. Every job I've been placed so far has been very friendly and helpful. They also listen if there are any problems and work things out. Best of all, they've been keeping me busy once I signed up.

While I find temping to be one of the greatest ways to explore new jobs and get some money coming in between them, let's face it often at temp companies you can feel like a piece of meat. After shuttling around offices all over San Francisco I was so happy to be received by the pleasant friendly and accessible staff at Temptime. They had a range of interesting jobs for me, and it was clear from day one that they really wanted to match me with a job that I wanted, which they did! I told them I like to travel and I like to write, and they placed me at a job where I write multi-cultural comic books. The one down side of being hired permanently at this new job? I don't get to stop in on Wednesdays to pick up my check and say hi to everyone in the Temptime office!

I couldn't ask for a better agency to work for. Not only have I worked in a nice variety of positions, but Debra and Becky keep in touch and make sure everything's working out for you. They really do want you to succeed and take personal interest in each of their clients. Pay is great, and comes every week which is even better. I highly recommend them.

I am a very small business and I didn't realize how draining it would be to conduct my own personnel search. I really didn't have the capacity to run in the ads, answer the applicants,, and checking their references, interview and test them. Frazzled, I turned up on Monroe's doorstep and after listening to my woes they sent me the temp of my dreams, a wonderfully versatile and reliable woman who met all my needs and I ended up using for over one year. She even made sure I ate lunch on time so I didn't get more frazzled and got more work done.

"I had never gotten into the temp-to-hire schtik before, but after becoming involved with Monroe Personnel Service/Temptime I may never try to find a full time job. Debra and Becky have figured out this fantastic way of combining professionalism and fun. I really enjoy the assignments I've been offered and have worked under some really amazing individuals. Wonderful. The ladies of Monroe are a special bunch. From the momnet I met Becky and Debra I knew this experience would turn out to be a great one. The ladies of Monroe, now including Miss Tess will always go the extra mile to ensure that the positions I have been placed in are in tune with who I am. I have held a variety of temp positions in varying industries. All positions have been with great companies and have paid well too. The Temptime staff found a perfect fit for my employment needs. It was as though they knew my business needs and placed the best person for the job opening. After several weeks of temporary help I was able to hire the worker permanently right from Temptime.

Temptime is extremely different than other temp agencies I have worked with in the past...they are a smaller, more personalized agency. From the start they really listened to what I was looking for. Two days after I signed up they already had a temp job for me, and it was in my field! I have only great things to say about Temptime/Monroe Personnel.

The day I came in I immediately felt comfortable. Everyone here was positive and professional. I could really tell that they cared about their company and the people who worked for them. I was looking for work only for a month and Debra was great in finding me jobs that fit my skill level and my schedule. I found the jobs she assigned me interesting and the pay was great. I have worked at Temptime for the last 8 months and I highly recommend seeking work through them. The staff is very kind. They are a small business, and do their best to place you in positions that fit both your skill levels and employment interests. If you're looking for an agency that doesn't have the typical corporate atmosphere, where no one knows your name and never gives you a call, then Temptime is for you.

As a veteran of the temporary workplace in Boston and San Francisco, I can safely say TempTime is the best temp agency I have worked for (better than the other four). My situation called for summer only employment. I knew I wanted to work in an office environment (too many summer camps and kid-oriented jobs in recent times) that was low-key, youthful, and generally not one that reminded me of Office Space. Debra (the head honcho at TempTime) hooked me up with an ideal copy-editing, data-entering 11-week position. The pay was excellent, and as far as I can tell, my soul has remained intact.

The antithesis of the large, impersonal corporate temp agencies. The staff was extremely professional and caring (never thought I'd use that word for a temp agency). They kept me well-employed during a tough economy and a difficult transition in my career -- nice assignments, pleasant environments, well-paying jobs, and timely paychecks -- what more can I say.

I went in to register at Temptime, and they placed me in a job the same day! Debra and Becky are fabulous, very caring, and ethical. I had great experiences at all the jobs they sent me on, and they were great about calling and checking up on me at my assignments. I could tell they really cared that both me and the company I was working for were happy.
