While attending my brothers wedding I accidentally spilled wine on my dress. I was referred to Iris by a close friend of mine and I called to request a pickup. The dress was a mess when they picked it up and even though they took a week to finish the job, they were able to remove all stains.

Recently moved to Upper West Side and I made the mistake of taking my drycleaning to local drycleaner. As a result of my bad experience I went online and found Iris. I have been a loyal customer ever since. They offer convenient pickups throughout the day or evening and I trust them with my everyday clothes as well other special pieces.

Started using Iris for my own personal drycleaning and laundry about a year ago. The initial reason I started using them was for the pick up and delivery service because I work long hours. Their quality of work is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone in nyc area.

Have been using Iris for years because they do an excellent job on custom made shirts. They know how to clean my shirts without destroying original look.

Recently purchased a dress that was discolored. Before returning the dress I decided to wear it, and of course I spilled wine near the area that was discolored. Iris said there were no gurantees but in the end the did a wonderful job and of course I got refund on dress. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SERVICE

I live in the East Village of NYC and its been a nightmare trying to get someone to do my shirts correctly. Iris quailty of shirts is unparalleled. Trust me I have used many cleaners in the past and none come close. Some of my shirts cost upwards of 300 dollars. No more worries. They oalso offer covenient pick up and drop off times.

My husband and I both work long hours and when we pick up our drycleaning we have little time to take it back when its not done right the first time. Iris drycleaning service is impecable. They provide the equal quality of a Hallack or Madame Paulette at more reasonable price. I have sent them everything from my husbands tuxedo to my Vera Wang dresses. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My husband and I were unhappy with the drycleaning service in our apartment building. The last time I dropped off a dress it came back with stains that were not there initially. Many of my blouses came back with stains under the arm but the drycleaner in my building said nothing could be done. Ever since I switched to Iris my clothes come back with no underam stains( which the other Cleaners swear would never come out) and I feel like my clothes are well cared for. They also offer flexible pickup and delivery.

Moved uptown a couple of months ago and I got tired of getting back my dry cleaning with stains. Now I no longer have to worry about my clothes coming back with more stains. The turnaround time is two days, but it is well worth the wait for reliable service. If you are tired of drycleaners ruining your garments I recommend you give Iris a call.

I've worked 10 years in luxury fashion with clients that don't look at price tags. It's essential that the services I refer do expert work regardless of price.
I've sampled every top dry cleaner in the city and outlying areas, Iris hands down, is a cut above all competition in quality. The fist time I tried the service, I expected a ***** bill. Between the VIP treatment, meticulous attention to detail, fast turn around and consistently on point delivery, I don't know how they can charge such reasonable prices. I also send all of my laundry. This place is a gem.

I use to walk my clothes to my very expensive neighboorhood cleaners. I paid $45 to clean a silk white ruffle cuffed blouse. I got it back grey and was told it was due to a defect in the silk. I sent it to Iris on my friends advice since she had a similar issue.

They cleaned it and it came back white. The cost $8.00

I have used them ever since.

They pick-up and deliver for free even though i have no doorman. And, I get my clothes back in 2 days. Other services take a week and they will only pick if i spend over $50.

My company uses them to clean our samples oafter shoots.

They are the only cleaners we use.

They service the building where my girlfriend lives and she turned me on to them. They are much cheaper than Madame Paulette and Hallak which i used before.

She swore by them and I now do too. My only complaint is that my husbands shirts noe cost me $5 each but he loves the way they do them here.

By far the best new thing i found in NY this year.

I have been using them for a few months now after trying about 6 diffrent places on the UWS . My clothes come back clean and my white blouses come back WHITE instead of yellow and sometimes grey like they did from other places. The guy who answers the phone is really smart and makes me feel like they really are pay attention to my special requests - I am very picky!

I live in L.A. and have an apt. here in NY and i actually bring my dirty clothes with me to NY to have them cleaned here. They are the best and so much cheaper than Madame Paulette and Hallack - both of whom i used in the past. I save at least 50% on my dry cleaning bill and my clothes come back like new. There is something about the way they press my blouses that i love... they are the best.

I spilled wine all over one of my favorite blouses and was not expecting any miracles since my local drycleaner was unable to get the stains out . Iris Cleaners picked up my blouse then called me to inform me that their is no gurantee the stain would be removed. A week later I got the blouse back with no wine stains.

After a recent business trip I opened my bags and realized that one of my perfumes had spilled on all my clothes. Many of my dresses were stained, but i was not ready to get rid of them so I called this cleaner. They informed me that there was no gurantee the stains would be removed, yet when I got the dresses back the stains were no longer there. Very professional and reliable.

Finding a good drycleaner in nyc is a nightmare. Thats why I took the time to let nyc now about this drycleaner. They actually took the time to call me about a shirt that needed to be worked on further. Even though I had to wait an extra day for that one shirt I felt valued as a customer, and continue to trust them with my clothes.

A friend recomended them to me after I sent my favorite beaded blouse to be cleaned at one of the pricey cleaners in Midtown who returned it with the same spot and charged me $35. They charged me $10 and the blouse came back spotless. They are the best and they speak english (nightmare with my old service).

This business lost two items that my roommate and I had sent in for cleaning using their home pick-up service -- a $300 leather jacket and a $100 alpaca wool coat. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he could not find the lost items and he didn't offer any compensation to us for the loss. I didn't feel the least bit valued as a customer.

I had a terrible experience with the on my first time. Not only did my bill come back 3 x the amount I was expecting, my items came back missing my winter coat. Admittedly I spend more on my clothes than I should which means my clothes are important to me and the care of them is paramount. I use to be very selective on which items I would trust with certain cleaners around the city but since using Iris Cleaners I have fully put my trust in their service. I no longer hold out on sentimental items because I know that they will come back exactly in the same way I sent them. Added bonus is their free pick up and delivery service.

I have been using them for years now on a regular basis. Their prices are great. The fact that I do not have to iron is also a plus. Once my suits and shirts come back pressed I rarely have to touch them up.

Thursdays tend to be a bit busier for whatever reason but the delivery person calls to let me know if he is running late. Great customer service.

Working with kids I tend to get my clothes soiled on a daily basis. I try to be smart and not wear my best or ubber expensive items to school however sometimes it is unavoidable and I always end up getting paint, magic marker, chocolate pudding, etc. on my clothes. I send my stuff in with the hope that just as long as the stain is less noticeable than before it was sent in I will be able to get one more wear out of the outfit. However, the majority of the time Iris Cleaners saved the day and my wardrobe. Don't ask me how they do it but they always find a way.

could not take wine stains out although held the garment for a long period of time.Service was not reliable.
My clothes never arrived on time.The worst part was they lie about their location.They are located in astoria
Queens on 31st avenue.,not in Manhattan.Their telephone area code is 718 which made me suspicious
and when I investigated the issue I found the truth.I do not want someone who lies to me where he cleans
my clothes to clean my clothes.They are not trustworthy to touch my valuable clothes.Period.I am angry.

Let me just say I do not dry clean ANYTHING! I use them for their laundry service only. If I felt the need to dry clean I would send my stuff but I do not take my clothes that seriously and just ship everything to be laundered. Everything comes back folded which is what I like the most.

I use Iris Cleaners for everything-I have my tailoring done here, dry cleaning, laundry and I send all of my leather bags to be cleaned here as well. They have great prices and the staff is very personable.
I like that I do not have to sort my laundry if I am in a rush. My only suggestion that I have to say is let them know if you want your stuff a certain way. They pin all things that cannot hang (like sundresses and certain tops that may slip). I hate this but just as soon as I let it be known they were more than accommodating .

I have used this place for quite a while now and never really had to deal with anyone because I always just left my pick ups with my doorman and had the delivery guy leave the drop offs with him as well.
Anyway since moving I no longer have the luxury of relying on a doorman and I am happy to say that the service is great and the delivery guys are very respectable and considerate. I have never had a problem with the time frames and I always get my stuff in a timely manner.

Not sure if it?s a bargain-but I think their prices are the going rate.

my dress obviously took quite the beating on my big day, lipstick, red wine, and loads of other stains that just happened to join the party. I sent it in expecting to get it cleaned but knowing the condition of it going in I anticipated having a few light stains when I got the dress back. To my wonderful surprise this place did an amazing job and every last stain was removed. They even secured some of the detailing around the neckline and stitched the ripped hem of the lining.
To make this place even better they have a magnificent tailor. One of the girls in my wedding party needed a very last minute alteration to her gown and they came to the hotel!!!!!!!!!! They sent someone to take measurements, whisked the gown away and the next day we had it back. I am so impressed.

This was my first time using their service; I needed both dry cleaning and laundry done. I was impressed with the quality of their as well as the customer service. I had to call and reschedule twice for a pick up and they were very accommodating. No attitude like with some other cleaners I?ve tried. I also had a problem with my bill which they were very quick to clear up and apologized for. I will definitely use them again.

I use Iris on a weekly basis for all of my dry cleaning and laundry needs. I am a single guy who likes things as simple as possible. My order comes back with an itemized total ready to be hung and my laundry comes back neatly folded ready to be put away. Prices are fair and the next day service is great. I have an open account which is great because my credit card is billed and all I have to worry about is tipping the delivery guy.

After just recently moving to the city I started my search for a new cleaners. I have always had the luxury of having my own washer & dryer prior to the move and was fed up with carting my laundry back and forth between my apt and the neighborhood joint.
Iris Cleaners is a great alternative! They actually listen to me (extra starch) and are very friendly when I have to cancel at the last minute or modify my pick up/delivery time. I especially like their rushed service which I need every once in a while.

After using many different drycleaners in the Batterypark section of New Yor City I was happy to have found iris cleaners. My husband no longer has to bother me about sending the drycleaning somewhere else because of a damaged suit or broken buttons on his custom made shirt. They have also cleaned several of my designer dresses, as well as my work suits and blouses. They offer pickup and delivery during day or evening. I usually select the 7-9p.m timeslot because I work, but the good thing is they always deliver on time.

VERY RELIABLE DRYCLEANING SERVICE!!!!!
Looking for a drycleaner who can leave my shirts with the crisp heavily starched look has been impossible. Iris Cleaners is the first cleaner that actually understood what I meant by heavy starch. They also cleaned my cuffs and collars really well without damaging the buttons. Instead of wasting my time dropping off my shirts on the way to work I simply call and schedule a pickup, and I have two weeks worth of shirts perfectly pressed in my closet. Hassle Free Drycleaning !!!!!!

Great service all around. They are the only cleaners who actually pays attention to the way I want my shirts pressed and do not feel the need to overload on starch. I've been using Iris Cleaners for almost a year now and I have yet to have any problems. My wife just sent in her wedding gown and was blown away by the reasobable price and how clean it came out (the bottom was covered with everthing from cake and champagne to mud and footprints).

This place has the best tailor! They were able to fix two pairs of pants that a previous cleaners had butchered. I haven't used their drycleaning but their laundry service is great, always comes back folded neatly and in their signature blue bag.

If you are looking for a professional drycleaner
that will give you door to door service than this is the place.
Although they required a three hour window in which to pick-up or deliver, it was well
worth the wait. It is a releif to finally have a drycleaner that routinely meets my
needs. Two hours after picking up my drycleaning they called me to inform me that one
of my ralph lauren jackets needed some repairs. All of my drycleaning and laundry were also done specifically the way I requested. If you are looking for a cleaner that cares about your clothes than look no further.

This is by far the worst service we have ever experienced! Late pick up, late drop off, lost half our clothes, got someone else's clothing, we demanded a reimbursement immediately, two weeks later had to call THEM to find out where it was, they claimed to have found some of our stuff, gave us a three hour window of time they would drop it off, arrived an hour AFTER the window, still not even half of our missing clothing came back and finally, when we complained over the phone, got harsh and rude treatment and language from the MANAGER for being so upset. Oh, and still no reimbursement as of this posting. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

After reading some not-so-great reviews of this cleaners I decided to give them a try anyway. BIG MISTAKE! They are way over-priced and were late with my pick up and delivery. I've used this type of service with other companies and what usually will cost me approx. $40 ended up being $70 with them. They give a 3 hour range for pick-up/delivery times and was an hour late on both occasions.

Incredible to believe i finally found a place that 1. Sends back the same laundry i sent in (not more not less) 2. The laundry actually looks clean 3. I don't need to have a doorman (they have night pick-ups). My dry cleaning comes back without stains and in 2 days (they have next day service too but its extra). 4. They speak English.

Definitely worth a try.

After reading some reviews I was skeptical of their servicehowever after calling numerous services, Iris Cleaners was the only cleaner who would do a last minute pick up for a fashion emergency! They were a bit pricey (but I called at 4 and by noon the next day I had my dress ready). They were prompt and very professional. I use them regularly now and continue to be pleased.

I used Iris Cleaners 3 times. The prior reviews were so good that I thought that the first two times were just flukes. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Between pick ups and deliveries, only one scheduled pick up or drop off was on time. In one of these transactions, I managed to lose a fairly large item and gain someone else's towel. It took several phone calls to get my item back (luckily, it was fairly unique) and return the towel that wasn't mine. When the pick ups and deliveries were late (I'm talking HOURS late), I tried calling to figure out where my stuff was or where the pick up guy was only to find that the people on the other end of the line could barely speak English. While the prices are reasonable, it is not worth the hassle or the headache.

They are a little bit pricy $4 for a shirt but they say they do them all by hand and you can definatley tell the diffrence. There service is great and my clothes look and smell clean and not like chemicals. The best part of their service though is that i leave it wiith my doorman and they pick it up then drop it off 2 days later with the doorman. I never have to carry stuff back and forth to the cleaners again. What more can you ask for.

While making a routine call to them about when I can expect my clothes back (1st time I used them) the guy casually told me, "oh, by the way, one of your blouses is going to cost $65 to clean because some of the lining is leather." I was flabbergasted that they did not call to tell me BEFORE they clean it so at least I can make a choice. I did not want to give them a hard time in case I don't get my clothes back or something. Will never use them again. What a rip off.

Considering how hard it is to find a good dry cleaner in the city they are a God send. Called them up and setup an appointment for service. I was disapointed to find out that they charge extra for next day service so i opted for 2 day service. They came when they said they would dropped it off with my doorman and it was charged to my credit card (which i leave on file with them). Very hassel free. The best part, the service was great, my laundry was very neatly folded and looked and smelled fresh. My dry cleaning also looked great. They even put these suports in my suits which was a nice extra. Very professional. Best Cleaners I've found since I moved here.

they have the best service and will do pick-ups/drop offs whenever you need it! I had the worst stain in my favourite blouse and the got it out! They rock!!
