Phoenix is a strange hotel market. I stayed at several "full service" hotels and they all had the motel like distributed layout and none of the services I like as a business traveler, such as room service and the oh-so-convenient under the door bill. The Sheraton is the closest to full service I could find within my price range.
The downsides: it is located on the far west side of Phoenix, not a very convenient location. The room service and restaurant menus are extremely limited.
Upsides: Starwood has the best point system around IMO. The beds are comfortable. There is a large pool and a serviceable gym on the premises.

Stayed here the night before and the night of my wedding. They have a nice pool and the staff is very helpful. We stayed on the "club" level (free upgrade for it being our wedding night) and they have a free breakfast on that level. The rooms are nicely sized and staff is helpful.
