I have only known Micheal for a year, I like the fact of a child free salon, I have children and I was told of the policy , No children unless there scheduled for an appointment. I also like the fact that the rules apply to everyone, longtime clients or new ones. Micheal is an extremely talented hair dresser, and from what I have seen treats his clients very well.

Michael is a genius with hair, both cut and color. He's been doing my hair for at least 10 years, and I get compliments all the time. I never used to get compliments before Michael started doing my hair -- in fairness to prior stylists, my hair is really hard to work with: cowlicks all over my head and aggressively straight hair. He updates the style as needed, and I tell people I've outsourced all decisions to him. It's been one of my most sensible decisions.

I also like the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of the salon. Everyone who works there is a pleasure to be around. There is none of the rush, noise and pettiness I've experienced at other salons, where you can leave more stressed than when you arrived. I haven't used Jose myself, but he has started cutting the wild hair of my son, a sophomore in college, and both he and my husband are happy -- amazing!

I highly recommend this salon.

With a mother and sister as stylists I have never needed or wanted to go to someone else, and except for two gross errors in judgment against that policy that ended in misfortune to my hair, I have never trusted anyone else.

Jose is amazing!! He understood my problem Latin hair right away. Moving from a lifetime of not being very adventurous with my med/long hair (thick, wavy and lots of it, grows like weeds) blowouts and flat irons were a nightmare and took too long so I went with easier cuts. Jose has given me some of the best haircuts Ive ever had (which I wont repeat to my mother), and uses new cutting techniques all the time. He listens to what you need and what you are capable of doing on your own and makes it manageable and I'm actually inclined to do my hair now because the cuts arent so complicated that only a stylist can work with. After the first cut I got adventurous and took his color suggestions, I was so pleased and got so many raves on the color and the cut, now I just trust him to do what he does best and dont worry about anything.

I dont know what was going on with that other gentleman who said Michael insulted him, clearly we didnt get the whole story there, but everyone in that salon has always been extremely professional and friendly and I love going there, as the salon layout, decor and ambiance is so relaxing its a great treat to not be in crazy assembly-line salons.

For the quality of products and the level of their expertise, the prices for services are more than reasonable and for those who know that you get what you pay for, these guys are doing a community service for the quality work they do. I will always go back to Jose and will recommend this salon to anyone.

I'm very pleased with the talent and level of quality at One! I was looking desperately for someone to fix my color and cut I had done at another salon and so I searched for salons in my area. I was very frustrated. I made an appointment with Jose hoping he could fix my hair. He was amazing! I've gotten so many compliments and my sister even said to me that this is the best my hair has looked in years!!!I'm definitely going back!

Great service; Michael gives a superb cut; Jose does an excellent color job. The salon is very clean, and the atmosphere is friendly and warm -- very relaxing. You are never rushed in and out, but given very personal attention. At the same time, you are not left hanging waiting for your turn between the colorist and the haircut. I highly recommend.
