5 Stars: Romantic...sure to impress dates! (by Desiree O.)

The Melting Pot is the perfect location to take a date for a special occassion. It might not seem like a lot of food, but you can get one of the complete meals which will fill you up. This was pretty pricey though (about $80-includes appetizer, entree, dessert). But the food is GREAT and you never get tired of the same dish because you get a variety of different sauces and foods. What's more romantic than preparing your meal together?! This dimly lit restaurant has romantic seating which is isolated or group seating fo a more vibrant experience. If you do go for a special occassion, let them know in advance and they'll leave a rose on the table and take a complimentary picture of your special someone and you.

5 Stars: TERRIFIC Experience (by Carolyn G.)

I've been to the Melting Pots (there are two in the area) both with family and children, and with a group of friends for a girls' night out. The manner in which the fondue meals are served is interesting and keeps you guessing what is coming next. The choices can't be found anywhere else, and the entire experience is memorable and a conversation starter. The last course dessert fondue is spectacular, particularly when flambe'd!

4 Stars: Great, unique, social dipping and eating! (by Lori S.)

This is one of those places that makes eating very social, since you're all sharing the same cheese fondue, broth for cooking meat and veggies and chocolate fondue. This makes for fun conversation and interaction. This place is a bit expensive (too expensive to go often or take the kids), but the food is really good.

A wonderful place for the family to have a great eating experience. The service is great and the food is an adventure - it is well worth the extra cost.

5 Stars: You must experience this! (by Lisa M.)

First of all, this unique far surpasses other local favorites in that you will not find another like it!

Tasty, Fun, Romantic, all in one! My husband and I went for our anniversary, so we did splurge on the full experience! We got our choice of cheese/appetizer fondue, followed with a salad course. Then you get your choice of entree (we had the surf n turf) which you can choose how you wish to cook - in wine or oil. Finally, you get a dessert fondue of your choice. We chose the turtle, with a caramel chocolate & brandy fondue which we dipped fruits, cheesecake and brownies in! YUM! Everything was really delicious! It is a bit on the expensive side, but if you can't afford to really splurge, just go for one course - cheese or dessert! The service is great and our waitress made sure to explain everything to us, from what we were getting to how to go about cooking and eatting it. Whether you are on a date, or just out with friends, I HIGHLY recommend The Melting Pot!

PROS: Unique quisine, fun, great service
CONS: a little expensive
