I received a massage for the first time at therapeia, it was OUTSTANDING. I was in a world of hurt, and when I came out I was fixed. Massage therapist was extremely attentive and skilled. Friendly, welcoming staff and nice ambience.

Cons: parking

I've come yet again when I was in such chronic pain I had nowhere else to turn. Therapeia's technicians are GREAT. I've had cranial-sacral, traditional, and hot stone massage... all were very helpful. I will come again and again for the friendly, professional, and talented individuals who make this place #1!!
Pros: Scheduling, Staff, Services
Cons: Parking, Waiting Area

I noticed Therapeia while going down Bush street when I was feeling stressed and as soon as I went in I knew it was the right place. It smelled of soothing essential oils, the rooms were beautiful and the atmosphere was extremely relaxing. My massage therapist was incredible. I was amazed how much better I felt as soon as I felt the warmth of the stones. They aren't just placed on energy centers like the hot stone I'd received in Arizona, but I was actually massaged with them which I found released a lot of tension in my whole body...especially the shoulders. My therapist was gentle but extraordinarily strong for such a petite woman. I would highly recommend Therapeia for massage AND yoga.
Pros: beautiful, relaxing, excellent massages

I stumbled upon Therapeia by accident and boy I am sure glad that I did. The yoga teachers are extremely helpful and the staff very friendly and they make you feel right at home. One touch from a Therapeia massage therapist and you will melt on the spot guaranteed.

I had taken yoga classes in the past but, I had never been made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The instrutor (Lara Iden) was attentive and helped me get over feelimg like I needed a super beginner class. The best part of the night was the free chair massage after class! Talk about unwinding after work.
The funniest thing was that I knew two people in class and someone on staff, woh knew?

I went to David Lurie's Tuesday 7:30PM ashtanga yoga class and walked out healed and toxin free. I have been to several Yoga classes around the Bay Area and David's has been the most beneficial to me. He creates an atmosphere that is amiable to all levels, fully describing how to get into each position and points out methods of opening your body slowly, listening to your breath always. Every class I learn something new, a better way to release my daily stress and increase my flexibility. David also works really well on an individual case, helping each person get into the correct position that works best for each of their bodies.
Pros: Healing, Meditative, Good crowd

Therapeia was a total surprise. I never thought it'd be like this - I'd driven by thier sign for months before I decided to check 'em out. I never thought a massage would be able to make my back pain go away, but after 90 minutes of hot stone treatment not only did it release all my pain, but I felt intoxicatingly happy - it was the most amazing sensation! Plus the place is clean - eat-off-the-floors clean. The people are really nice. My back was killing me until I found this place, I wish someone told ME about them 6 months ago.
Pros: Back pain went away, Really clean, Really nice people
Cons: Weird entrance, Seemed a bit empty

Without a doubt, the best massage I've ever had in my life.
I'm as loose as a goose. I haven't felt this good in years.
The space is beautiful and I found the staff to be genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. I definately did not feel like another dollar sign walking through the door.
