5 Stars: Beatiful Views (by Emma C.)

I love to visit Ventano's. This Italian Restaurant and Oyster Bar is fantastic. The menu is a good size and includes many delicious options including a very yummy carbonara. The views of the Las Vegas strip are amazing. The waitstaff are very attentive and know the menu well. The chef often comes out into the dining area to talk with the guests. I always make a reservation, but I don't think that it is totally necessary.

4 Stars: Beautiful view, wonderful food, a little pricey (by Lydia S.)

The first thing we saw was the perfect view of the Strip through the floor to ceiling windows. It definitely set the mood for the evening.

The server was friendly and attentive, though we came late in the night and they were out of a few of the menu and wine choices.

The food was perfectly executed, the carpaccio was delicate, the arrabiata was bold, the seafood was tender and the desserts were heavenly.

The bill is more than I normally spend at Italian restaurants, as the entrees were in the 20's and the pastas in the high teens.

But I think this is definitely worth the money as a special occassion dinner.

4 Stars: Great dining experience with a beautiful view (by Julie K.)

You cannot beat the beautiful view of the Las Vegas city lights at night here. The food is very good and the menu and wine list are also very extensive. This is a very popular restaurant so conversations can get a little loud. The wait staff are very skilled at doing there job and it is obvious that that is a priority with the management. Prices would be moderate to high, but it is well worth the price for a nice evening out.

2 Stars: Not good (by Beverly M.)

We have eaten here twice before.
First time, we ordered an appitizer, then our meal and dessert, it was a special occassion.
The Lasagana was burnt so bad that you could only go half way down. The maranara sauce is not cooked enough and you can taste the can. When we ordered dessert the waiter said "are you sure, that is a lot of food". We had planned on taking our meal home or at least we thought we would.
Second time: Ordered Lasagana again, tasted the same, this time it was hard around the edges. WE also ordered Veal, as you know, it should be pounded out, this Veal you could see the muscle of the Veal, no pounding was done. The sauce needed butter, as it didn't just melt in your mouth as it should.....

PROS: The desserts were wonderful
CONS: Hire a new Chef maybe.....
