Sandy has been coloring/cutting/styling my hair for about a total of 4 years. I can honestly say 'without any exaggeration' - each and every time I leave the salon - I am 100% excited and pleased (which works wonders on my self-confidence). I have short hair (and my hair is my "Thing")! Each and everytime I am in Sandy's chair, I give her full freedom to try a new technique she has learned or seen - because she cares and gets to know her clients - this results in a FABULOUS new style that I get to Rock!!! Also, if you want PERFECT eyebrows...she's your girl. Honestly after seeing the other stylists in action and their finished work - I would sit in any of their chairs with 100% confidence in them. For Miss Dara - she is AWESOME...

Never know what, exactly, I want in a haircut but with good suggestions I always seem to come away with GREAT hair! Blake rocks a haircut!

Shana is so awesome! She always makes my curly hair look great and recommends great products. She even did my hair and make-up for my wedding!

I went to another salon in the area and got the worst haircut i have ever gotten. my layers were chunky, choppy, and uneven. I called Kroma and got in to see Sandy. She took such good care of me. She took me through my hair step by step to see what needed to be changed. When all was said and done my hair (that I thought was unfixable) looked like a great cut/style. Thank you Sandy for helping me and listening to me.

Sandy has been doing my hair for over a year now and I am never let down, she always pulls through with something miraculous!!!!! Just when I think it can't get any better, she does great. My brows look perfect too!! Dara is always on point and always willing to help me get in on my shedule(because we all have crazy schedules). It is a great salon to be in. All the staff seems to do good work when i'm in there. If you want great hair and brows call Sandy.... she's wonderful!!

Salon Kroma is a great experience - thanks to the sweet receptionist Dara and to Blake - the best stylist and colorist I have ever been to in my life! I have had more compliments on my hair since she started doing my hair than I ever have. I originally went to see her to correct a bad cur and color and will never use anyone else again. Being a brunette I've had lots of problems getting stylists to give me blong hightlights rather than reddish highlights - Blake gets the color right! - and people have noticed! I also used to have heavy, frizzy, hard to straighten hair, but with Blake's styling my hair has been lighter and easier to straighten. I have brought my daughter there for a cut and my daughter agrees it is the best cut she has ever had! I couldn't recommend her any higher.

shana has don the best job ever on my highlghts and haircut!!!!! she really listened to what i wanted! i have sent several friends to her and they have all been very pleased too! she took the time to explain to me the maintnance required to keep my hair loking great! everyone was so nice at the salon from the time i walked in the door until i walked out of the door! thanks kroma of cary!!!!

This was our first time at this salon. We (my daughter and myself) have been searching for a place for two years that we could be loyal to. Today we found it. We both had our hair cut by Callie. She listened!!!! She taught us how to do our hair when we get home. I highly recommend her. She will be seeing us again. Salon Kromo is blessed to have her! Thanks Callie for making us look great! Your Awesome! As far as the salon goes I would describe it as modern and very comfortable. I thought the toolboxes were a great touch! Keep up the good work!

Read some great reviews on this site and took a chance at a new salon.

Blake is a fabulous stylist- I had a cut and highlight on my first visit. 8 weeks later the cut still looks great! Can't wait to book my next appointment.

I went in asking for my layers to be evened up. My hair was below my shoulders. Before I knew it I had some emo-kid haircut that was supposed to be "fabulous and trendy" .. a style I didn't care about, nor did I ask for. Right off the bat I said I didn't want anything drastic. Just even up the effing layers. By the time he was done with me, my longest layer on the back of my head was three inches long from the top of my scalp. My head was kept either down or away from the mirror the whole time the cut was going on so by the time I was able to look - oops too late. Now that my hair is growing out - the left side is an inch longer than the right side in the back. I thought being trendy meant you looked polished and put-together in a fun way .. not look like a 'special' kid attacked your hair with safety scissors?

Salon Kroma is the best salon in the area! I've been in the area for 4 years and I've tried several places, but it seemed like the prices were always going up and my haircut and color were always the same, boring mom style. Then a friend referred me to Emily at Salon Kroma. Emily is fantastic!! She is great at listening to what you want and making that work with your hair type. She does great short cuts and every time I see her I go shorter and shorter and the cut is better and better. Emily's cuts are fun, definitely not the boring mom do. For the first time in years, I'm getting compliments on my hair! I've also had Blake cut my daughters hair and she did a fantastic job! She did the cutest angled bob. I would definitely use her myself! And, I've had Sandy wax my eyebrows and now I won't let anyone else do it! So, I've interacted with several people in the salon and they've all been fantastic! The atmosphere is great, the customer service is great and everyone that works there is great! I could not recommend Salon Kroma more!

I moved to Cary 5 years ago and tried SO many different places. I found a place I liked, but then they started charging a crazy amount for just a haircut. Oh a whim, I made an appointment at Salon Kroma, and I've been there ever since. I go to Emily, who is absolutely fantastic. I've recommended her to all of my friends and even complete strangers who stop me on the street and ask about my hair. I have shorter, wavy hair, and it's so difficult to find someone who can cut short hair well. She listens to what I say every time I'm there and offers suggestions. She always gives me a cut that I can style myself and that works well with my hair type. The other stylists and employees are very friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend Salon Kroma and Emily in particular!

Blake did my hair on 5/17 and I am THRILLED with my haircut. She was precise and very detailed. She didn't promise a miracle (matching the photos I brought to show my desired look). She was honest and made it clear that my cut I wanted would need some minimal work. Blake was very friendly and a true people person. I am very happy to have met her and I will be continuing my haircuts with her from now on. For those that are looking to go short, she is the stylist for you. I think she has a talent for haircutting that is hard to come by. She is very creative and knowledgeable.

Receptionist who's name is not coming to mind ( I am sorry) was sweet as could be. She welcomed me and treated me like she knew me for years. I was instantly made to feel comfortable and relaxed.

I can go on forever. Thanks again Blake and Salon Kroma.. you got yourself a loyal customer!

The guy I went to there gave my curly hair the worst haircut I have ever had. It has been 4 months and it still looks horrible! However, they did have great customer service. : (

I wish everyone out there could have seen my hair when I first went in to Salon Kroma. It was BADLY damaged, fried, and in need of color correction. The stylist I had been going to for 3 years ruined my hair. Within 2 visits, my hair was great again. Blake was very supportive during the entire process. About a week ago I went in for my 3rd visit. I have to tell you, this is my absolute favorite color / cut combination to date. I get so many compliments on it. I tell everyone I know to see Blake. Thanks again for the great service.

This place is so awesome. I am a man in his early 30's and have been to many salons, but this one tops them all. The friendly atmosphere and professionalism they bring into cutting my hair perfect everytime is unbelievable. Salon Kroma goes the extra mile when cutting hair!!!! You should definitely try them out.

Salon Kroma is wonderful! Blake has taken my hair from drab to fab! She is really good at taking a picture and making your hair look just like it. I used to have heavy, frizzy, high-maintenance hair. I now have a stylish, edgy "do" that is much easier to maintain. People I don't even know stop me on the street to tell me how much they love my hair. What a blessing Salon Kroma has been for me - I highly recommend it!

I drove all the way to Cary from Fayetteville because I didn't trust anyone in Fayetteville for my new hairdo (i was going short and I wanted someone who knew what they were doing) I read about Salon Kroma online, called and got an appointment the very same day. Blake was my stylist and she was absolutely wonderful! She gave me suggestions after i told her what I wanted and I just let her do her thing and it was PERFECT! I really love both the cut and color and everyone I work with is just amazed at how good it looks. I get compliments everyday! I would definitely reccommend this salon to anyone. Everyone was nice and friendly and I felt totally comfortable and relaxed. Kudos to Salon Kroma!!

I was looking for a new salon after leaving my stylist of years. I was very nervous about getting the changes i wanted with a new stylist. Based on the reviews from citysearch I went to Salon Kroma of Cary. I told my stylist, Blake, what I was looking for and what changes I wanted to make. When we were done I was AMAZED at what I saw in the mirror! She listened to everything I said and made some of her own suggestions to create the perfect style and color for me! It was a feeling and look that I have never gotten anywhere else and I love it!!! Blake really took the time to explain to me the products and technique i needed to style my new look. I would recomend this friendly environment to anyone looking for a relaxed and fun experience! Thanks Blake and front desk gal (sorry i don't remember your name) for making me feel comfy and confident!

As a very busy woman with 3 part-time jobs, I was hesitant to commit to driving from Wake Forest to Cary for a cut and color BUT it has been so worth it when so many comment on how great my hair looks!! At almost 60 y/o it has been fun to get a fresh look with encouragement of my hairdresser to try something new. I also appreciated having products explained to me but not pushed on me either. As a self-proclaimed cheap skate I have to admit, sometimes better products make for better hair! Who knew?? Thanks, Kroma &Co. See you in about 5 weeks!!

Sandy (Cary) did a wonderful job on my color. I had a color that was too blonde and lacked dimension. Sandy took a lot of time listening to what I wanted to achieve. She gave many options and we finally decided on all over foils - high and lowlights. I absolutely love the chestnutty lowlight color she achieved. It's beautiful and just what I wanted. I will continue to have Sandy do my color!

I visited this salon based on the great reviews listed on Citysearch. The stylist was nice but her work turned out to be sloppy. My highlights and haircut looked sloppy. The highlights are not consistent throughout my hair, which makes them look quite artificial. My naturally curly hair doesn't lay right; somehow the layers weren't cut properly. Not recommended!!!

I've been getting my hair done by Rue since I moved to the area, just over 5 years ago. I have taken more pictures to her than I can count and I can always count on her to tell me what is and what is not possible with my thin, fine hair. I don't think we've ever done the same thing twice, yet she keeps doing it right, time after time.

My husband gets his hair cut by Keith - thank goodness for Keith! That travelin' man o' mine sometimes goes for months without a cut but Keith manages to give him a cut that grows out well.

My 8-year-old daughter loves to feel like a grown-up and Sandy always makes her feel just that way! She does a great job with the trims and the cuts, never taking too much off. We're looking forward to letting her cut it all off to give to Locks of Love (when I can finally let my little girl have a shorter cut - not soon!).

Salon Kroma exceeds the expectations of 3-out-of-3 family members!

I have been going to Salon Kroma for a couple of years now (before name change) and highly recommend it. My main hair stylist is Keith, who is awesome. I always feel good after he colors and cuts my hair. But, we like Heather too and we have used other stylists there and we have liked all the stylists. Everyone is friendly and the level of talent and professionalism is the best I have had in the 13 years I have lived in the Cary area. I have my whole family going there now.

Salon Kroma is an excellent salon. They are all very courteous and professional. It's not too frou-frou and I feel very comfortable there. One big reason I go there is Karen Lang. Karen is the best colorist and stylist there is. She is a Matrix specialist and just seems to have an instinct for color, whether it's highlights or lowlights. She also gives the best scalp massages! You can tell she loves her job and she's sensitive to what YOU want in a cut while at the same time offering her professional opinion. I'm a Karen-girl!

I recently moved to the Cary area & was dreading having to find a stylist as new ones tend to ruin my long hair. I read the previous posts about how great salon kroma is and in particular ... Emily. I'm so glad I found these posts... Emily is awesome. She listened carefully to what I wanted and was very careful when she cut it to make sure she didn't take too much off. I absolutely love my new cut. I'll be back again & again.

Salon Kroma of Cary is a very nice salon, stylists are very familiar with color and can make great recommendations. Emily did my hair, she really listened to what I wanted and produced great results. Everyone is very friendly and atmosphere is relaxed and clean.

Salon Kroma is an excellent hair salon. Always on time, has great value for the money and just overall is a great atmosphere. I have hated every hair cut I have ever gotten in my life from all salons - other than my sister of course (who is not a professional stylist)! I even had the highest person at Mitchell's in Cary do my hair - didn't listen / understand what I wanted and I was very unhappy. I highly recommend this salon and in particular - Emily. She is the BEST stylest there and totally listens to what you want. From someone very picky - I totally trust her and feel comfortable with her doing my hair. :)

The staff took time during my consultation to talk about what I wanted in regards to color & what they could do. They were all very friendly & helpful. I originally had an appointment with Emily but they had to switch to Bobby Rae. He did an awesome job for both cut and color. I highly recommend him and plan on staying with him. I've been to expensive high end salons in the Washington D.C. area and Salon Kroma was a much better experience and the results were exactly what I wanted.
