Timpano Italian Chophouse

Waste of our money. Very noisy. The worst NY strip steak we ever had. Very overrated. The waitress spoke to us like we were children.

My husband and I were seated at 7:15 for a 7:00 reservation which I don't mind, but we were ignored for a good 10 minutes, after the hostess tried to seat us at a horrible table in the most remote possible corner in the lounge. I am not going to pay $20.00 for a pork chop and have to sit at a patio table which was so crowded with the space, not the people, that I kept bumping into the lady behind me. The ala carte menu was not worth the price and my grilled vegetables were cold. Maybe they were having an off night, but I felt like the waiters couldn't figure out who was going to wait on us and we had spotty service at that. I won't be rushing back and I didn't feel like I should have tipped 20%.

I was surprised that the food was so bad. The hosts were nice in seating us quickly, but the food was certainly not worth waiting for anyway: salad was terrible, lasagna was nothing special, and steak was overcooked. The service was ok, but made few mistakes in delivering the food, which had to be returned. For the cost, I don't think it's worth it.

The food is very good (try the muscles) but the atmosphere is better. Fantastic bar on the weekends when the music is live. Sit back, have a cocktail and enjoy the smooth sounds of clasic lounge performers.
