Store was well organized. I was able to head directly to the flash memory. The price was the best of any of the brick-and-mortar stores.
The problem begin when I was ready to check out. The checkout lines seem to be spread through out the store, with no one manning them. I had to ask the guy sitting at the Verizon kiosk where to go to checkout. He directed me to the customer service counter, who then got me in touch with someone who could help.
The next problem was when I went to pay - the guy didn't have change for a $100 bill - which is understandable. He phoned for someone to bring some change - which after waiting 5 minutes, finally he went to the customer service counter himself and had to remind ask for them to bring him change.
This was supposed to be a quick in and out. It took over 15 minutes from start to finish. Didn't help that my wife and kids were waiting in the car for me.
I do most of my shopping online. Less hassle, better prices. I was away on vacation, and Circuit City and the best price, so in the end, I am happy that I got what I wanted - I was just shocked at the lack of people working there, and the overall poor experience.
The only reason I would ever shop here again is if the price was overwhelmingly in my favor.

I was ready to purchase a laptop and decided to call Circuit City to see what was available. I finally navigated my way through the phone system, but after 10 rings, no one in the Computer Department answered. I tried again, still no luck. A Monday afternoon, you would think the salesman would be fighting over customers. You would think.... Maybe I'll see if Crazy Eddies has resurged.
PROS: Easy name to remember.
CONS: Are they interested in selling their goods? Answer the phone!!!

Difficult to find anyone who wants to help you with information on the merchandise, but when you are ready to purchase thats when I found a big problem with the staff. How many times do they need to ask for my personal information - and why do they need it when all I am buying is a telephone - good grief - none of their business - leave me alone!
