I wanted to have the hair like Jessica Simpson but I didn?t like any of the hair extensions offered in the marked, I think they are not safe and that I can ended up with less hair than the thinning hair I have.
I don?t believe in reviews, I think that some are made-up by the pr?s, I?ve followed before good reviews and most of the time I was not able to have what the reviews promised, not even close. I certainly believe in words of mouth from friends and experts. About hair extensions and hair color all my friends are saying the same; the only one you can trust is Rodolfo Valentin. So when I got the time to make an appointment with him I did and I am extremely happy I did!- In less than two hours I have the baby blonde hair color I was always dreaming of. Nobody can distinguish the hair extensions from my own hair; they are perfectly equal in texture and quality. My blonde highlights are astounding and I couldn?t be happier. I will say that Rodolfo Valentin in the scale from 1 to 10 deserves 15 stars for hair color and equal stars for hair extensions. I can even say that every other service I got was an experience including the superb shampoo by Pia that includes a cranial massage that only in the best spa you can get.
The salon is immaculate, beautifully, modern and fresh furnished, and everyone in Rodolfo Valentin staff is enjoyable. Perhaps the friendliest and nicest salon I ever meet. I feel blessed to have a hair salon of this quality near home. I realize that I did very well into follow my instinct of no believes in reviews, but in the honest words of friends and family.

Hair extensions are what I really wanted, but I was afraid for the hair extensions that every hair extension salon is offering after witnessing the hair disasters in all my friends getting their own hair damaged. After an exhaustive research I got to the conclusion that Rodolfo Valentin is the only one offering hair extensions damage-free. I went to the Rodolfo Valenti nSalon about two months ago on a whim- I was speaking with my boss that day and decided that I was sick of having my hair short that never grows and ready to go for long hair. After work, I walked over to Rodolfo Valentin, and I was beginning to lose my nerve- I was very anxious that my hair was going to be hurt, although my natural hair is delicate, I do not make a good short hair.
The salon itself is beautiful, and every staff member that I spoke to was caring and charming. By the time I sat down at the hair station, I had been offered from a welcome glass of champagne, coffee, tea, water, and hot snacks by at least three different people- but not in an irritating way, just because everyone was very thoughtful.When Rodolfo came over, I was very tense. I love being a long hair young woman, and this was going to be a huge change. I came without a picture of how I wanted to look after the hair additions. I gave Rodolfo a odd oral description of what I wanted, and leafed through a In Style magazine that was there by my station, showing him what I wanted- even though I don't think any of the models I showed him really had the bouncy long hair I wanted! I know it is useless, but at this point I was trembling with tenseness because I was certain I would look awful, and I was already sitting in the salon, too late to turn back.In a breeze the hair extensions were attached and the hairstyle came out amazing. My hair is now rich and layered, no more short, flat and boring. I do not think I could ask for anything else from a hair magician like Rodolfo. Then I got a blow dry by Jeena. Some hair stylists have not been able to deal with my hair when it was short. Jeena was very gentle with my hair, probably because the extensions, and did not use a very hot dryer at all- which is something that makes a difference between a good blow out from a bad one. She made my hair silky and smooth, with just the right amount of waves and body, very well blended with the hair extensions, something that I always hated in my friends because in most of them the hair extensions are showing. While she was finishing up, Rodolfo came over to inspect my new look and make sure I liked it.I told him, that not only I like it, I love it- His hair extensions are light weight and I must admit that I only felt them the first couple of days. Now I can also say like thousands of other people are saying, Rodolfo Valentin really knows what he does with hair, his expertise shows everywhere, in each little corner of his marvelous salon.

After being a client of the NY hair salons, I was so disappointed with my hair until found this salon by typing in "Best Colorist" "New York" on Google. I spend lots of time reading all the great reviews, and I now find myself writing one! I've been to Rodolfo's salon more than a couple of times: once for highlights and the second time for a haircut. His team is so professional and caring. There is such a good ambiance throughout the whole salon. Rodolfo is without doubt a master at his profession.

Last month my husband gave a birthday gift - a haircut and hair color at Rodolfo Valentin salon. I had not done much to my hair for a while, just retouching the roots. I really liked the haircut which rejuvenated my look and was easy to keep at home and got me compliments everywhere I go. The best part is - I just had a broad idea what I would like and let the stylist do the rest. The result was astonishing. Eva put some lowlights in my bleached blond hair to get it closer to my natural dark blonde. I went back lately to put in highlights and I am very pleased with the outcome. I have suggest this place to my friends for both very good job they do to meet your expectations and pleasant ambiance that makes a visit really comforting experience. Rodolfo Valentin is one of the best stylists in the city, no doubt about it. Not only does he do outstanding precision haircuts, but his eye for the right style for each person draws an elite clientele that's hard to find anyplace. The salon has a sociable, trendy vibe and the blowouts are at all times amazing! to propose this great hair place is a must, Rodolfo Valentin Salon great haircuts, I get them every two months and am always happy with the result, it's reasonably prices are other things to emphasize about this salon. It's also nice to shopping around Madison Ave. Makes it for a perfect date with yourself - get pampered and a new haircut and hair color and take a stroll around.

I was searching for the best hair colorist in new york. I found this site "TOPHAIRCOLORISTS COM", very nice site. I made an appointment and I was able to get in the same day in the afternoon. Rodolfo Valentin himself did the consultation. After spent like a 30 minutes with me ( my hair was a disaster), he realized what I really wanted. Pia showed up to take care of my hair color under the supervision of Rodolfo who was around every 15 minutes to check my hair. to make the story short, after 2 hours I have the hair color that I have dreamed my entire life. It is a natural baby blonde that nobody can say that my hair is chemical colored. It is so natural that people tells me how good idea was to leave my natural hair grow.....Rodolfo I love you !

i got the best massage with angela, in a very calm room smelling like a heaven...then i got the shampoo by a girl of name elsa, she also did a cranial massage that put me to sleep. then Eva cut my hair and i look like a movie star. great salon, great staff, great champagne with hot snacks.....I've been in every salon in the city, no one has the quality service than a guy like me expect as this salon. congratulations rodolfo valentin, your staff really knows how to take care of male clientele. My friend was absolutely right about that. ( also most of the girls working there are beautiful!) ---(jessica?-marisha?) beautiful!!!

I do not like to write reviews but because I made my appointment based on the reviews of others, I had to report my experience my experience at Rodolfo Valentin Salon. Rodolfo himself asked me to make this review. I had hair color consultation with Rodolfo first and then Pia did the job who was wonderful. She takes of the time she needs without rush, even if the salon was full. off our consultation by complimenting my hair repeatedly even though it had been several months since my last highlight at another salon where I was a client of over 8 years and left very unhappy.
Pia worked alone and in difference to most of the New York City salons where the assistant usually does more job than the colorist.
Next, I had my haircut with Rodolfo a who happens to be classy but fun, and he also put me at easy very fast with his very friendly manners. He said, let's make a big change, and he did !!!! and a wonderful one.....then Eva styled my hair, very nice girl who happens to be the hairdresser of many celebrities including miss universe and Jennifer Lopez and her husband the singer Marc Anthony. I am very happy to say that my hair has found a new home, and the name is RODOLFO VALENTIN, probably the best hair salon in NYC and this is hard to say since New York City is the home of the top hairdressers in the world.

It is really incredible how much Rodolfo Valentin knows about hair. I understand why they call him the walking encyclopedia of hair. I didnt know what to do with my thinning hair problem. With his very peaceful personality he gave me in one, two, three, the solution to my problem. Without any doubt, it is the best salon in New York and it is also an effective escape from everyday stress. This gorgeous salon offers privacy in the upper floor and quality service. There are three different ranks of hair stylists. In my opinion I cannot classify the difference between them, they all are gentle and high skilled. Rodolfo knows how to train them. They are superb in everything they do. Rodolfo Valentin Salon is really an oasis in Madison Avenue; they really manage to combine a happy, energetic salon with a calm spa in a separate area with relaxing spa music.
It is very important tome to relax while I have my hair done it is a personal gateway.
I noticed as a guest that from the moment I walked into the cozy, elegant and modern salon mostly of the clientele there are clients interested in three specific services, hair color, hair extensions and hair replacement. I must say that I also loved his haircut, now I can manage my hair myself! But I like to go back for blow-dry, because this salon offers all of the pampering luxuries that even the most spoiled diva would enjoy (there was the Princess of Morocco, next chair)they even serve hot snacks and champagne complimentary! But the difference here is that the laid back, very friendly staff makes everyone fell like they have stepped onto pedestals for the day. Rodolfo was complaining to me about being the target of jealously from the frustrated small salons but it is normal being a celebrity hairstylist. Congratulations Rodolfo, you are top hair salon in NYC.

Rodolfo Valentin Hair infusion is in my opinion, the most natural and long-lasting process to give fine and thinning hair body and volume. I am very happy to have this wonderful hair salon next door. I go there at least twice a week for blow dry and every three weeks for hair color. I became addicted to them. i love Rodolfo haircut, I love Michael hair blow, and how Rosa wash my hair ( with a great cranial massage)- the best part is that THEY ARE AFFORDABLE !!

Rodolfo Valentin is one of the top hair stylists in nyc, and his salon in Madison Avenue is one of the finnest hair salons and day spa in new york.
I am really fascinated with his high quality services which includes but not limited to hair color and hair extensions. The only problem is that Rodolfo gets very busy and he likes to give the best from him people enjoy being with Rodolfo and it causes delay. Last time I wait almost one hour, but I love what he does.

Today I was at Rodolfo Valentin salon, in my opinion the best hair colorist of the city. While I was having my hair color by Pia, I heard Rodolfo speaking to this 13 years old. Her mother was next to her also talking to Rodolfo about the young girl illness of cancer. Rodolfo was very touched and he decided to donate her the cancer wig from his charity. Then I found out that the young girl was the niece of the actress Cathy Muriarty. Wish I felt that life does not discriminate age, race or status. Now that teaches me that I have to be concerned.

I like only to use the original thing, and I've always used Rodolfo Valentin for hair extensions and for my hair color. In fact I am one of his first clients having his custom made, hand-made hair extensions back in 1984, when no one knew about hair extensions. But because Rodolfo has his legendary experience in working for the celebrities, show-bizz and Royalty, he found his way to extend people hair in a natural, undetectable way. The first hair extensions I had, Rodolfo made them using my own saved hair. This year I made the mistake to follow the advice of a friend that was using another salon for hair extensions. This was the biggest error I?ve ever done and I didn?t know how to look at Rodolfo?s face. Finally I took strength and I went to see him. He told me that everybody is allowed to make mistakes and instead of being mad at me, he helped me. Now I?ve Rodolfo?s hair infusion thanks God for his great understanding- I can either go to NYC or Long Island locations but whichever location I go I still get the best service, Rodolfo?s staff is great and fun!

Back in 2004, I decided to choose Rodolfo Valentin based on an extensive research, as well as a wish to find a friendly atmosphere. The floor manager is wonderful, and always a coffee magically appears--and they even had champagne and hot snacks!! . If you are looking for a great experience from start to finish, Rodolfo Valentin is the place to go for all your hair care needs, I get there hair color, haircut, hair extensions and facials once a month (every two months I get my reusable hair extensions removed for service ), some people has a second set of hair infusions to have them attached the same day, but I like to give my hair a rest for a day, so I return the next day to have the hair infusions back. Everyone who works there is so nice and the place has great energy, Mariya my hair colorist is extraordinary and beautiful girl from Russia! And Eva, hairstylist is Sweet, non-pretentious and so talented!! In the past other colorists insisted to make my hair lighter, even though I always felt it was too light. She dared to listen to my wish and I ended up with a gorgeous brown color with so many dimensions, I just love it! It surely did wonders for my eyes and skin! Eva also cuts my hair, she is so good! And Rodolfo as always makes me feel so amazing! Every time I leave the salon my hair looks so beautiful, so shiny and so rich. I would highly recommend it to anyone, now my friends gave me a gift certificate from Rodolfo Salon, my next visit is on December 20 to be ready for the holidays, what a great way to begin a new year!

My daughter and my husband gave me a full day gift package for my birthday at Rodolfo Valentin Salon and Spa. In despite that it was issued for the Long Island Salon and Spa, I was able to use the spa services at the long island location and the hair services at the New York City location, Rodolfo authorized it himself because I really wanted to experience his golden hands. It was absolutely divine. I went after a mainly tough week and began to calm down as soon as I stepped into their beautiful waterfall lounge, relaxing at the sound of the water. The team was warm and helpful, the decor was old word incredibly sophisticated, and the service was exceptional. I cant wait to go back with friends. The NYC location is very modern and fresh look, very Madison Avenue.
My hair color, haircut and hairstyle turn out to be the best Ive had in my life, Rodolfo himself did the entire job. I must say that my husband is in love with me again like the first day. thanks Rodolfo!

Best day spa and hair salon in Long Island NY !!!
I've had multiple massages and facials here and every single time has been amazing. I feel so clean and relaxed whenever I come out. Relaxing between services at their WATERFALL LOUNGE is my favorite! The place is sooo clean and peaceful. I think all the snacks and the refreshing drinks in the waiting room are a great touch. it really gives you that extra feel that you're getting the best of everything. The products that they use smell wonderful and feel wonderful. The staff are also so welcoming and polite and they know just how to treat a client whether for a huge package or a simple eyebrow wax. The prices are up there, but I think it's worth it just to know that you're always going to be getting one of the best spa experiences. I don't go too often (once every 3-4 months) so it makes sense that when I do, that it's the best. about the hair salon, yes I go every week for blow-dry and hair color and hair cut once a month. THE BEST IN LONG ISLAND !!!

I found Rodolfo Valentin very professional and knowledgeable about hair extensions and hair color, no wonder why he has the greatest reviews and attention from the press and he is named as the King of Hair color. Also I understand that L?oreal de Paris is scheduling a photo shoot with him and Linda Evangelista. He really understands the needs of his clientele. In my case I was unsure what my skin tone is, and I seek advice from him to assist me in determining my type of complexion. Rodolfo found my skin fair and he recommended me to stick with the warmer browns hair colors. He told me that these colors will have a softening effect on my skin when framing my face. I put my hair in his golden hands and he added to my hair golden, honey browns, copper browns and even mahogany tones to warm up my light complexion. The best part is that he did all the shades together in one shot using his famous ?coding hair color technique?. Brilliant!!! and also a unique way to save time, that was used to add to my hair is famous hair infusion. In this case I?ve short hair, and half set was added to my hair just to have more volume. The hair infusion is really undetectable. Rodolfo Valentin in my opinion is the top hairstylist of New York City and no wonder why he is so famous in Europe also.

no wonder why he has many names as the walking encyclopedia of hair, New York Society hair stylist, the King of hair color, Hair extensions master, winner of the hair coloring techniques award and winner of the grand design award?I must say: Rodolfo Valentin is the best hair expert in the world!. Also no wonder why he has worked elbow to elbow with the master of masters Alexandre de Paris doing the hair to Grace Kelly, the Queen of England, etc,etc?He is a very classy charismatic gentlemen as Vogue Magazine wrote in a 3 pages articles about Rodolfo. I am his customer from 20 years ago, and still I continue to be astonished by the endless expertise of Rodolfo and the conscientious finesse of his staff, from the welcoming reception to the shampoo and style and the service of hot snacks and champagne in the afternoon. Amazing?my entire family are his clients, and we are proud of have Rodolfo Valentin as one of our best friends, just like a family. An astonishing experience! This salon offered the most appealing, pleasurable, and sexiest atmosphere (superlatives one usually does not apply to a salon), without a bit of the pretentiousness that may be predictable given the cautious consideration and excellent value you obtain at the Rodolfo Valentin salon. All this is almost certainly due to the meticulous grace of the workforce. Michael gave me gorgeous highlights and applied Rodolfo Valentin signature treatment that brought my weak hair back to life. Then the megastar hairstylist Rodolfo Valentin designed the greatest hair cut that I?ve ever had, he got to know my hair better than I did in the little time I was there and trim and styled until I seemed to be like a movie star! I received countless compliments on my look afterwards.

I had the best hair experience of my life at Rodolfo Valentin Salon. I found this salon based in the recommendation of my friend and I am lucky I did. They are amazing!- Michael cut my hair after Pia did my hair color and highlights.
Maritza did the most spectacular hair extensions I?ve ever had! --As a result I have now a sophisticated look, trendy, total NYC look. I found the staff to be professional and very talented as well as kind and friendly. It really shows that Rodolfo Valentin is watching himself what his staff is doing.
Besides being transformed, they really educated me on how to maintain it myself. They also handled to me written instructions in the do and don?ts about hair extensions care. Even the assistants were knowledgeable and offered advice on taking care of my hair. I am very happy with my hair and plan to be back for more. I might even get eyelashes extension with Mariya on my next visit.
They are professional and experts in hair?not to mention that they are incredible nice, no attitude and very fairly priced.

His remarkable abilities to color hair is second to none. I have never received more compliments on my beautiful hair, from which he has styled and colored for many years now. Great services combined with European hospitality add to the warm ambiance of this wonderful salon.

It was Rodolfo who recommended adding infusions to assist my thinning hair. At first I was hesitant. I?ve visited every place for hair extensions in New York, including Long Island, and a place in Queens that advertises very much about hair extensions, but I didn?t trust them, they only seem to care for the money and not for the client?s hair. But finally I found the panacea, and the name of the magic potion is Rodolfo Valentin. After I spent 30 minutes of consultation with him, I didn?t doubt about his great knowledge. I just let him do what he wanted with my hair, and he did the most excellent job I could ever expect, it was really a make over! --- He begun with a base color, then he said that highlights would be added with the hair extensions themselves so I will not need to have more chemicals into my hair?and after his unique five steps deep hair treatment that left my hair feeling very smooth, his famous hair infusion was added, perfectly matching my hair texture while adding different tones of blonde that was mixed together resulted in the best hair color I?ve ever had!- Then, he proceeded with the hairstyle. I always wanted to have layers and Rodolfo told me that it was the right choice because the straight hair is slowly leaving the current straight-hair fashion and the new trend is showing a more glamorous bouncy hair, and the layers will help to show more of the 2010 new look.
I left his beautiful salon with the look I?ve always dreamed about?my hair moves, as it is dancing around my face, soft like a silk, with a hair color reflecting lights of multi-tone shades and a haircut that was the envy of everybody I know. All my friends want an appointment with Rodolfo, and they are so many that I hope he will have time for me next occasion I need him.

I have hair loss, and I was afraid to try anything. I've never considered using hair extensions after seeing all the disasters on my friends. I live in Manhasset, Long Island. Everybody told me about Rodolfo Valentin, as the best for female hair solutions. I stop at his salon in long island but he was not there, he is there only on Saturdays--I only wanted to see him...So I got a complimentary appointment at his New York Salon, and trust me, after spending one hour with him, I didn't doubt about it, I put my weak, fragile hair in his hands-- HE IS REALLY THE BEST!- He worked on me with such a care for my thin hair, and instead to take one hour as it usually takes his unique hair extensions, he used two hours to make sure that my natural hair was not hurt. Now, I have a full head of healthy hair, and I get compliments everywhere.
Rodolfo Valentin has the best solutions for female hair loss and such a care for his clientele!

I had lost all hope of ever having my hair healthy again. It has been damaged by so-called top hair colorists in several New York City salons. So I have been trying to get my hair naturally blonde again and in the last salon that specializes in hair color my roots ended reddish orange and the bottom looks like a grayish pinkish blonde!! It?s horrible!!, and I don't know what to do ??!!
My friend recommended his hairstylist, Rodolfo Valentin. I was afraid to go, but I take strength and I made the appointment. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY I DID !!!. Rodolfo Valentin Salon service is absolutely impeccable and his friendly and outgoing staff is wonderful. Everything was a wonderful experience. Best of all is the top hairstylists, and one of his top haircolorists did my highlights. Michael did my blowout on my long hair and I was thoroughly impressed with his skill. I have not had a blowout this good since my last photo shoot. Rodolfo Valentin was extremely warm and fun, and his haircut was a real tailored one. He also refused to do services that I didn?t need saving me money?I am so impressed by Rodolfo Valentin natural expertise, and how much he loves hair, he really cares for his customers hair !!!. I have been everywhere and I must to share my happiness since I move to New York from Italy. I spent four years searching for the right hair salon in New York City. I got very tired having my color in one place, my cut in another, even my blow dry! Until I found Rodolfo Valentin in Madison Avenue, he really works like most Europeans do. He is a one-stop-shop where I get everything I want, best quality: the colors, the haircut, blow-dry and his well trained staff makes you feel very confident, they are multifaceted, you can feel very lucky if you get Rodolfo (probably the reason why his clientele keep him as the best secret of the city to meet him is an experience and his fresh and chic salon where the high society of new York frequent is always immaculate. ( I love the snacks and champagne served in the afternoons?)
Rodolfo Valentin: classy guy knows is work up to the detail (handsome...) perfectionist and his Staff is the best trained and pleasant staff. They go out of their way to serve you the best. The atmosphere is friendly and very European. But my hair color is something very sacred to me, specially because I have hair loss problem, and nobody (SPECIFICALLY NOBODY) EVER IN NY DID MY HAIR COLOR AS RODOLFO DID.. With such a care!

I have been to many top NYC salons for hair color, frederic fekkai, john barret, bumble & bumble, Louis Licari, and my color was always just OK. A few weeks ago I stop at Rodolfo Valentin salon for hair color consultation and there was the princess of Morroco and Rodolfo's models. Their hair color were so stunning that I didn't doubt in to make an appoinment. When I went back last week there was Beatriz de savioa ( princess of Italy) also having her hair colored...I actually LOVE my color. I will never go anywhere else!. To top it off, the staff was wonderful, so friendly and my hair actually smelled good post color thanks to Rodolfo Valentin new hair care line MAGNIFICENT!!. The salon is luxurious and entertaining with fashion hair shows and the panomaric view of the chic Madison Avenue. It is spacious and comfortabel. Of course the price is pretty steep...but affordable and well worth it. I am not like most of my friends, I like to share my beauty secrets. I will highly recommend Rodolfo Valentin to everyone looking for the best to look the best.

Rodolfo Valentin is such a blessing!. My friend highly recommended him for hair color but it came out way beyond anything I could have expected. In my opinion hair colorists are like plastic surgeons, the best hair colorist is the one that creates colors that seems natural----like your own--- my blond highlights are amazing and I couldn ' t be happier. I have been going to Rodolfo for at least ten years, after working with several of the so-called top stylists and colorists. I have never enjoyed so many compliments, both on my color and cut. He is a supberb colorist, carefully selecting the shading that is most complimentary to onea's complexion. As a blond, I can attest that he never lets my hair go ashy - a common complaint - and always makes sure that the color is that wonderful blend one sees in a child's hair. His styling is equally great. taking into account my lifestyle, my fashion likes and dislikes and everything else which makes for a great cut. Hurrah for this man - would that there were more like him and one would see less disasters in and around the city.
Pros: good staff, attractive atmosphere, cared for and cosy.

On August 5th I walked into this salon with the simple request to have my micro pinch braids removed and for my hair to be returned back to its natural color of soft black.
After all my pinch braids were removed by Rodolfo's assistant Rodolfo surprised me with bleach that had been prepared to lighted my roots back to platinum blonde on my already damaged hair and sore scalp. With my scalp already feeling raw his assistant applied a very strong batch of bleach on my hair and carelessly allowed the bleach to hit other parts of my hair that had already been highlighted. To hide his assistant's work Rodolfo decided to sell me a full head of hair extensions he calls hair infusions. These infusions were poorly applied and within the first week I lost six wefts because ordinary hair conditioner was placed on my scalp to help heal my roots. I lost wefts on a regular basis over the span of a month and when I called his salon no one would help me. I even went in their personally and a few wefts were replaced and a complete denial that any damage was done to my own natural hair. Rodolfo insisted she did good work. By September I went to Van Cleef hair salon in Chicago and they removed Rodolfo's wefts that were simply a combination of keratin "glue" and tape. When the wefts were removed I had broken pieces of hair all over my head from the areas that his colorist had ruined with bleaching. I was very unhappy but Rodolfo would not refund me any of my money or admit that his assistant made a huge mistake on my already fine hair. It's a shame that a salon of this caliber will not take responsibility for its mistakes. I am deeply saddened by the treatment I received here.

I have been using another high end salon for years and after an unexpected bad experience with my hair extensions I went on the recommendation of a friend and visited Rodolfo Valentin. They have a brand new salon with amazing hair stylists and a cozy, small spa for massages, facials and pedicures. All of them went out their way to welcome me and make me feel at home. Rodolfo immediately noticed the problem I have with my hair extensions and without any comments more than ( it is a very old technique) he proceeded to remove them, give me his exclusive deep damage repair treatment and to add his famous hair extensions, hair infusion. My hair, which is rather unmanageable as a result of those horrible hair extensions, came out exactly like I wanted thanks to Rodolfo?s hair infusion extensions. I am the newest client and will be for life! Thanks guys!, thanks Rodolfo.

I went there for his famous hair extensions, but rapidly I found out that he is one of the best hair colorists in New York!. So I ended up having my hair color ( I also wanted highlights but Rodolfo Valentin told me why to spend money in highlights if he can create the highlights effect with his famous hair extensions ), and that is what he did. THE BEST HAIR EXTENSIONS AND THE BEST HAIR COLORING!!!. This is one of those few places you leave looking amazing!. People stare at me on the street?.The hairstylists are warm and classy, they serve delicious snacks (low fat!!) with beverages, and care for you like you are a fabulous European royalty ( after all they take care of royalty, the Italian princess Beatriz de Savoia was there having her hair color done). Feeling fabulous is priceless and in the other hand Rodolfo Valentin Salon is very affordable compare to the high level of quality services and premises, very chic?very elegant?like Rodolfo Valentin himself.

Top hair colorists NYC, Fantastic colorists!! I went to Rodolfo Valentin hair salon nyc after read the great hair salon nyc reviews. Rodolfo Valentin does not care how much training the operator has, he trains them even more1. Sooo, that?s how happened in to the place, the result? I had the most BEAUTIFUL shade of blond, probably the best I have EVER had!-I can't take pride enough about the talent at this salon in terms of getting the perfect color...
Thank you Rodolfo, I have gone to nearly four of the top hair salons in new York in the past six months and I have been through the circle of both economically and infuriatingly. I am a 37 year old woman living in NYC and working in the fashion and beauty industries. Three months after completing 2 rounds of fertility medication (that did not work), my hair began falling out in clumps. I went to doctor after doctor and no one could figure out why. 9 months later, my hair was still falling out and I was absolutely devastated, couldn't sleep and could not concentrate on anything other than the fact that my hair was falling out. I've always had very long blond hair, healthy and beautiful. I'm the girl who stayed home on a Saturday night to do a mud masque and a deep conditioning. I've received compliments about my hair my entire life. As ridiculous as this might sound, my hair was/is big part of who I am, very important to me.

After losing hair for almost a year, I finally found Rodolfo's website and went in for a consultation. I was skeptical as I had been running from doctor to doctor and had also stopped into a few places to look at wigs just so I would be able to sleep at night knowing if I woke up completely bald, I would still be able to leave my apartment. The wig experiences were awful, they looked completely unnatural and left me in tears. So finding Rodolfo was more or less a last resort for me. I regularly had my hair cut and colored at all the top salons for years. What was this new salon for women with hair loss problems?? I was definitely apprehensive and proceeded with caution.

As soon as I walked in the door, I felt extremely comfortable. Rodolfo came over to greet me and I explained my situation. He recommended that I try his "hair infusion". He put in a few temporary pieces to show me how it would look and feel. It looked so amazing that I decided to get 2 sets of extensions. Rodolfo asked me to come back the following day as I had only scheduled a consultation and the salon was very busy. I was so excited about this new hair that I refused to leave until he put them in . . . and so he fit me in that day and it looks absolutely stunning. The one thing I was a bit nervous about is having the extensions pull on my own hair. While I was waiting, I met about 5 or 6 other women in the salon, all upper east side socialites, all with hair loss issues. They had all been using Rodolfo's hair infusion for years and said they had no issues and were thrilled with the results. The hair extensions are attached to your own hair with Keratin and they are attached in a way that does not pull on your hair - TRUST ME!! If I was losing more hair because of the hair infusion, this would be a very different review!

Rodolfo must have spent 3 hours with me. We did highlights and after the extensions were added. I cannot tell you how happy I was and how amazing they looked. I literally felt like Gisele. I wish I could express to anyone having hair issues like me, what a relief it is to know that Rodolfo is here. I asked him a million questions that day - what if I have a bald spot, what if it doesn't grow back over here, what if . . . blah blah blah . . . to which Rodolfo responded "Honey, whatever happens to you, I have a solution, please do not worry". And I believe him. I've been working in fashion and beauty for almost 15 years. I attend many events, fashion shows, etc. I CANNOT be walking around with bad hair!! Since having my hair infusion, I can not tell you how many compliments I have received and I feel so much less stressed and can go on thinking about other things instead of obsessing about how many strands of hair are falling out each morning in the shower.

Rodolfo, if you happen to read this review, I just want to tell you that you have changed my life and made me feel so much better about a very unfortunate situation. You are such a special and caring person. Thank god I found you! See you soon!!

My experience at Rodolfo was the best experience I've ever had at a hair salon. I was extremely nervous because my hair color was so botched at the last salon I went to, that I really thought it was a lost cause. The roots were copper, the middle was white-ash and the ends were gold. My hair was three different colors and it really brought down my self-esteem because I wasn't happy with it and I couldn't figure out any solution to fix it.

I came out of Rodolfo Valentin with my hair looking beautiful, golden blonde! All one blended color!! I couldn't have asked for a better hair color. I've been to about a dozen salons in the city and not one could get it right. Rodolfo Valentin is the only place I will ever go for my color. Thank you so much. I have never been so happy. I can start my new job next week, knowing that I will look immaculate!

Wowwwww! I am still astonished by the incredible beauty of the new Rodolfo Valentin salon, right close to my favorite shops, Channel, Cavalli, Hermes, Barneys, etc. About the services? as always I got a superb haircut by RV, a hair color that everybody in the street stops me to ask me who??? , by Pia, and a hairstyle by the new salon member, a sweet handsome and incredible talented European guy of name EYUP.
In the new premises Rodolfo Valentin also has a cozy spa where I got an oriental style pedicure while lying in a comfortable couch between suede pillows, an hour aromatherapy massage followed by a warm shower and a RV signature facial to be remembered forever...
The pleasures of my marvelous day didn't end there....my husband pick me up from the salon and surprised me with a dinner at Nello's, one of the best restaurants in New York just on the foot of the Salon.

It is located in the middle of the heavy traffic on Madison Avenue with panoramic picture windows overloking all the famous shops. It was more than expected. A lounge with beverages, snacks and coffe, arched mirror cealings, electronic chairs, young soft music, and a clean ambiance are complimentary to the unsurpassed high quality services for which Rodolfo Valentin is worlwide famous, including his unique hair color techniques and fresh haircuts., Marisha styled my hair. She was a highly proficient stylist with an adorable personality. My eyebrows looked wonderful after meeting Julie, and I had a great manicure from Marisa. Prices are reasonable considering the best location in Madison Avenue. Before I left I booked appointments planning to spend a full day at the cozzy spa for massage and Rodolfo Valentin signature facial. It is definitely one of the, tops hair salons in nyc.

I cannot believe how beautiful is the new salon and spa that Rodolfo Valentin just opened in the heart of Madison Avenue. I spent an entire day for beauty. First I had a relaxing massage with his therapist and a delicious shower, then a Rodolfo Valentin signature facial, a refreshing spa pedicure and manicure including reflexology and of course the magisterial ending of a hairstyle and a haircut by the master Rodolfo. Around 7 pm my husband was waiting for me downstairs to have dinner at Nello, one of my favorite restaurants, which is just next-door of Rodolfo salon. A wonderful beauty day!

I asked to Rodolfo Valentin for an specific hair color I would like to have, he refused to do it and he explained to me that When choosing a hair color, the trap is to balance your skin tone in order to reduce flaws and bring out the best in your facial appearance. Selecting the incorrect shade can be a tragedy for your overall appearance. It can make you look exhausted, unhealthy or unusually ruddy. After such convincing statement I put my hair in his hands and my hair color results turned out to be the best of the hair colors I have ever had. There was the Countess Luann deLesseps and the Princess Maria Beatriz having also their hair color done, and both agreed with me, Rodolfo is probably the top hair colorist in NYC.

We'd read about Rudolfo online and my daughters and I decided to go and get our hair cut by Rudolfo. Any boy we are so glad that we'd made that decision. We had such a wonderful day at his Salon and Spa. It was great from start to finish. Rudolfo was so wonderful - extremely polite and friendly and once he had his pair of scissors in his hands -it was sheer magic. In a few minutes he had given me a spectacular cut. When his assistant had finished drying my hair it looked beautiful. He weaved the same magic with my daughters. He is wonderful and his entire staff is great - they are friendly, helpful and very courteous. I must say that Rudolfo is a perfectionist and will not let you leave until your hair looks just the way he wants it to look. When we left the salon that day we looked and felt beautiful. Can't wait to go back for my next haircut and maybe get a new color too because he is great with color. We watched him patiently work with one of his clients for hours until he got the right color. And I could see that when he was done with her hair it would look gorgeous. I strongly recommend going to him if you want a great cut! He is the best and his staff is absolutely wonderful!!!

He made unbelievable job (together with his sweet assistances) , my hair already look amazing and he said that this is just a beginning :) sounds promiscuous :)

Next time I am getting hair infusions and already can't wait to that :)))

Rodolfo is a very outgoing, charming, vivid personality that you just love from the first sight and you wanna do everything what is in your power to keep on seeing him and being a witness of all these unbelievable transformations which he does to you :)))))

I asked myself hundreds of times, is this really happening to me? I going to have chemotherapy? And the worst part of it was to come out of the denial state. I knew that chemo treatments were going to be hard, and the loss of my long hair would add to me the depression. My feminine part, my hair, in its entire highest splendor would fall away!
With bravery I approach Rodolfo Valentin after read about his great compassion with cancer people and the best to recreate my hair. Is private atelier is located in a beautiful townhouse, in a very serene and peaceful ambiance.
Rodolfo sweet like sugar, gently and respectfully when through the entire process making me feel like ? I was there for a new hairstyle consultation? and for a moment my mind left the reality, and I can say that I was enjoying...
My new tresses were absolutely beautiful. I was strengthened and confident. It was a great comfort to actually appear healthy and all together.

Earlier this month i strong-willed to take the thrust and get THE HAIR INFUSION, Rodolfo Valentin hair extensions, I?ve had a short bob for years, but was sick of seeing the same cut all over the place --- ended up growing it out to a mid-length bob and went to Rodolfo Valentin to get hair extensions. I?m so happy that i did! Rodolfo spend a good amount of time with me throughout the free consultation to figure out accurately what i wanted out of my hair extensions. i went back a few days later after he customized to my color the real-hair extensions and he put them in. the procedure was nice-looking long (and it only took less than one hour, not forever like the other systems), and opposite to my friends, I didn?t feel anything, not even after my head was full of them!. Also Rodolfo was a delight to chat with throughout the entire experience. He did a top-notch job putting them.
I adore my extensions and plan on keeping them in for a long time; I am already looking forward to going into the salon between the next two months to have them serviced. In fact they are reusable which makes them very affordable, (my friends are buying new sets over and over),. The infusion hair extensions are costly, but on par with any other salon that offers other type of hair extensions that cannot be compared with Rodolfo Valentin best hair extensions in NYC (hair infusion) i think they were worth every penny. The salon was great, everyone was terribly polite, and Claudio (stylist) and Mariya ( colorist) are is such a blessing

LOVE my HAIR COLOR and LOVE my hair infusions, Rodolfo Valentin natural hair extensions, they are light like a feather, not heavy like the other hair extensions I used before, reason why I am planning on keeping them in for a long time ... My blond highlights are astounding and I couldn?t be happier. I will say that they deserve five stars for the hair color, which for my experience Rodolfo Valentin is the best hair colorist in NYC, Claudio did my hair cut and Mariya did my hairstyle it came out way further than anything I could have anticipated, Pia washed my hair, but it was more than having a shampoo, it was a Spa experience with a 15 minutes of deep scalp massage included! The salon was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and everyone was enjoyable perhaps the friendliest and nicest Salon staff I ever met,, I feel blessed to have a salon near home with such a quality. ! I must say that I owe this ? feeling like a celebrity experience? to Rodolfo Valentin. Everywhere I go, everybody stop me on the street and ask me where I get my hair color. Rodolfo creates the color to fit the client personality as well as skin texture, color and face, and makes it occur in such a calm way that I can look qualified for work and have fun on the weekends. I found the magic potion for my hair.
Two months ago I found a salon that will bring my eternal search for the right hair salon to an end. I moved to the upper east side of Manhattan a few weeks ago just around the corner from Rodolfo Valentin. The salon is charming and the team is welcoming. If you're ill of the high-priced, arrogant salons, you'll feel relaxed at this place. Rodolfo Valentin is a very handsome gentlemen that really loves working and creating with hair. He pay attention to what you desire and takes in your comment all the way through the sequence so you leave feeling like you got what you wanted and didn't get talked into something different just because they do not know to accomplish your requirements. He doesn't press on other services on you, but Rodolfo Valentin has a great menu of high-quality services and products like his unique Hair Infusion, the most natural hair extensions system I have ever seem, hairpieces custom made for all reasons of beauty needs, which you may not be able to refuse to accept. The cuts are about $120, which these days appear standard, but the service is great and I always left very happy.
Concerning hair color, no doubt about WHY Rodolfo Valentin is named the Hair coloring King. I have never have such natural hair color in my life, and when I say natural I am talking about texture and look. Rodolfo Valentin hair color skills are SIMPLY THE MOST EXCELLENT.

After reading in New York Magazine site that his clientele has voted him with 10 points out of 10 and is highly recommended I wanted to see him as soon as possible. Undeniable Rodolfo Valentin of New York is the best hairdresser in USA.
In my trip to the big apple I was able to experiment his legendary talents and I must to say that I have deeply enjoyed his great haircut, his knowledge about hair color and most than all together the volume and length that he added to my hair with his unique hair extensions technique call Hair Infusion.
I look 20 years younger and my husband love me again.
I will have to commute to New York every 4 weeks, and after all, who cares ?

I visited the Rodolfo Valentin Salon after a second-rate up haircut left me feeling ugly and completely frightened to get anywhere near a pair of scissors. About my hair color, I have visited previously many top NYC salons for color as Frederic Fekkai, John Barret, Stephen Knoll and my color never was special, just OK. By far Rodolfo is the most excellent hair colorist in USA.
The staff was extremely courteous and understanding and Rodolfo did a fabulous job with my hair. I had never had the color quality I got from them. ?I LOVE MY COLOR?! Now I wouldn?t dream of going anywhere else. Rodolfo Valentin Salon is hands down the best of the best!

My own hairdresser recommended the Hair extensions by Rodolfo Valentin (that he named Hair Infusion) his patented trademark system, I was looking for somebody to make my hair like a Tyra Banks, Beyonce, or Naomi Campbell, because my style is exactly like them and for the first time in my life I am so happyyyyyyy!. They not only look so amazing but natural and are very healthy to put on!?.yes! believe or not, VERY HEALTHY!, they do not require the heat that burns my own hair as the other hair extensions systems ( and I have used the best, including great lengths). I would definitely recommend these to everybody who needs them.
The quality of the hair is beautiful, long, healthy and Rodolfo Valentin highlighted my own natural color using his magnificent hair infusions in different degrees of colors!. Nobody can be disappointed, I can?t believe how real the hair infusion feels, and the price very fair and competitive.

From 2003 I am coloring my hair, and although there are no similar statistics for products used in hair salons, and if it is true that the vast majority of women are hiding their gray as myself, most of the popular brands does not last long covering it and in a few days the gray color shows because the color wash out! As many of my friends I also even tried to do it myself buying the hair-coloring product from the drugstore.
After all that dependency I was ready to give up until I meet the legendary genius Rodolfo Valentin.

He explained to me that the major difference is that a professional colorist can custom blend a specific color and control the amount of peroxide used. With this conscious blending, the color will last longer. The only unavoidable problem is how much your hair grows, but the ?key? is to retouch only the roots and using only deposit colors.

I never expect that I will have the time to make this report, but after so many years he gave me back my ?hair happiness?. Thank you Rodolfo, artists like you should live forever!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer one year ago. My biggest fear was losing my hair. I am red haired and had lots and lots of hair. I got a list of places to go, but how could I know who was the right person to do my wig? I met Rodolfo and immediately felt his reassurance, the mastery of his craft and his great sense of style. As he shared with me his mother?s battle with cancer, I felt tremendous sensitivity and empathy of what I was going through. I knew he was the person I was going to trust to make me look whole again. Rodolfo Valentin has changed my life. As far as I know, Rodolfo is the creator of his own patented hair infusions. In my experience, this is the only hair addition that has not damaged my hair and there is no hair loss. This ?hair-infusion? technique has helped my hair to grow in much healthier and faster. Rodolfo is also the master in hair color and after several months my hair is no longer damaged by over-processing.

I had the most fantastic experience!!!! I went into Rudolfo's salon and the maestro immediately reacted to the poor state of my hair which was severely over processed. He was very sympathetic and reassuring and said that he could help me correct the problem. The following day I had infusions done and I looked and felt like a new and different person. The infusions are matched to the original colour of the hair so they are not noticeable but instead provide a lush, thick head of healthy hair. That day I was transformed from a haggard person with thinning over processed hair to a much younger person with a head of thick hair and a style that was youthful and very flattering. I could have kissed his feet and even offered to do so at the time. I don't think I would ever be without my hair infusions and I am eternally greatful. Even if I had to live on the other side of the world I would visit the salon of Rudolfo Valentin to have my infusions maintained. He has changed my life; thank you so much!!!!!

My girlfriend finally brought me to Rodolfo Valentin Salon. I was begging her to bring me, but looks like she didn't want to take responsibilities. She knows I am difficult with my hair and she was concern I would blame her if I don't like it. Also I didn't wanted to walk in by myself! ( I wanted Rodolfo give me special attention)...lately I realized that he is such a great person that it would be okay if I did. They take care of every single customer equally in opposite to other salons or hairstylists.
How I will rate my haircut?, 10 points!, probably the best I've ever had. I don't think I am going back to my former haircutter. Rodolfo has just something different about the whole concept, and he really delivers a good professional cut. The salon is nice, the staff is friendly, they even offered me wine while I waited, I would definitely recommend it!

I had heard of the hair designer Rodolfo Valentin for years, but never imagined such a wonderful salon experience with old world furniture and floor tiles. At this magnificent salon (other exist in the south shore of Long Island) there are junior stylists and colorists, as well as senior, designer, and high skilled stylists and colorists. Rodolfo Valentin is from Argentina, and you can read about him and his salons on his website. The NY salon, on the upper east in Madison Avenue, is an oasis of privacy and comfort. I also enjoyed my visit to his gorgeous Salon and Spa in Long Island where one floor is reserved for hair stylists and colorists, while in the upper floor is located one of the most beautiful spas for treatments, such as seaweed wraps and a multitude of massages, and manicures/pedicures, etc.
I chose a junior stylist, named Sasha, and a senior colorist, named Maritza. Sasha and Maritza spent a total of over four hours catering to my hair! Sasha literally cut and styled my hair two times -- before the colorist and after. And, Judith, the colorist's assistant, was extremely attentive, even bringing me gourmet coffee as my snack of choice. In fact, all of the staff at Rodolfo Valentin work as a team and are most hospitable and classy.

I was desperate about losing my hair after the chemo treatments.
The mother of my friend Lucy told me about her experience and that she too found it to be very shocking losing her hair, but in her suffering she was very lucky to meet Rodolfo Valentin, who she calls ?the angel?. He gave her back her sense of self-esteem lost during her agony of losing her attractive hair. I rushed to see Rodolfo, and he is really an artist, and his expressions of love and concern for people in our circumstances is rewarding. Ask yourself one question...do you love your hair? If so, there's only one person who will treat as carefully and with as much respect as if it were his own! Rudolpho Valentin! Not only is he a true artist at his craft, he commands an amazing team of specialists who treat your hair like it's gold. I have never had SUCH attention paid to my hair and you will not walk away feeling neglected, ignored, unheard, or unhappy. This is truly a place where your hair is the star of the show and the center of attention. After other (high priced!!) city salons left my long brown hair a bleached and sun-in-orange frizzy mess. . I was scared to recolor! I looked in citysearch for direction and couldn't believe how many people wrote such unwavaringly high reviews about this salon...so I took a chance. You should too! The salon is beautiful, relaxing and unpretentious. Rudolpho is charming and charismatic and makes you feel instantly at home! He addressed the "COLOR and CUTTING ABUSE! (his terms)" that were inflicted upon my hair! After fixing the base color, Rudolpho wanted to put in a very conservative caramel/honey highlight but I pointed to his awesome dolce pants and said - I WANT THAT COLOR BURGANDY! So I now have beautiful fun burgundy highlights that look classy, not trashy. As I sat and processed, the other 2 clients in the salon (both gorgeous shades of blonde they say that ONLY Rudolpho was able to create!) began to chat with me and told me how Rudolpho had saved their hair and they would ONLY trust their hair to him! He had suggested putting in his exclusive extensions to help me deal with the choppiness of my layers from the "cutting abuse" but I felt I couldn't afford them at the moment - HOWEVER - if I could - I would have done it. It's a fantastic system and LOOKS amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this salon - Rudolpho and his staff made me feel so welcome and special, and my color is so much fun! I can't wait to go back!

My mother has been going to Rodolfo Valentin since Rodolfo came to this country. It was my mother in fact, who took me there and Rodolfo's has been my current salon since then. I used to be a fanatic of Garren but Rodolfo Valentin is a hair color genius.
Another great thing about Rodolfo Valentin Salon is that it's way user-friendlier;fabulous gracious and you don't need to be someone important to get treated fabulously.

I am addicted to Rodolfo Valentin Salon where I get the best for my hair, my hair color, my haircut, my style and my soul (the atmosphere at this salon is very relaxing). Few days ago I also visited their unbelievable Salon and Spa in Long island. It is something very rare to find a beauty center to get all imaginable kind of services in one place. Before I found this unsurpassed Salon I was required to go to different places to be one hundred percent happy, my hair color in one shop, my haircut in another, now at Rodolfos where every service is twelve points (from one to ten) I really cannot believe how lucky I am!. Because I am also and spa enthusiastic, I can have everything in one network.. It is impossible to describe the beauty of the premises without seeing them, there are not enough words to describe this palatial grounds, the high quality of every service they offer, the warm welcoming and far above the ground experienced staff. At the end of my spa experience, Rodolfo was also there ( he is there Saturdays only), and he cut and styled my hair and what I can say if every talents of Rodolfo Valentin have already been told! Before I left his georgeous salon Rodolfo told me: "if you are happy with your hair, let other people know by writting a review in citysearch, and I am here writting one. to begin Rodolfo is the key men to use for hair coloring. As a path to success is to make sure that the color looks good on you and Rodolfo is the only one that will make sure it happens.. Matching your hair color is principal, as a mismatch will be obvious. Rodolfo took me within a few shades of my natural hair color; and he also told me that some difference is acceptable, as it can create a nice subtle yet dramatic look, but any more than a few shades and the hair wont look quite right. He also told me that he could dye my hair with an entirely new color, but hair coloring for an executive women works best when its subtle, not when its a dramatic hair color change. Everybody is asking me what I did that I look younger and refreshed!

I was really unhappy with my hair color until I meet Rodolfo Valentin. Ive been in every salon in New York City and I never got what I wanted. Rodolfo showed me that a good hair colorist can add spice and enhance my hairstyle and it is really enjoyable and pleasing when it comes out glittering. I agree completely with Rodolfo that a great hair color should look as natural as possible and it is a must that a good result should to include shine, drama and fun to your hair. Though most of the women color their hair to cover the gray hair, many others like my case are coloring the hair for the change of having a new look. Haircut extraordinaire is Rodolfo Valentins high merit. He really puts the scissors in the right spot leaving no room for mistakes, so there is no time spent fixing it afterwards. He gave me the best haircut I ever got just in minutes. As Rodolfo told me: I dont spent half a day giving a haircut, so I dont need to charge a fortune to give you a good oneand it is true that I paid a third of what I used to pay sitting for an hour and the results are double as good! I got cut, shampoo, conditioner, a delightful minutes of cranial massage and a wonderful finishing for the comfortable cost of 275.Not only that, I was advised that it is the first time cost, next time same package will cost me 225! I found this salon by typing in "Best Colorist" "New York" on Google.com. After reading all the rave reviews, I now find myself writing one! I've been to Rodolfo's salon twice: once for highlights and the second time for a haircut. His team is so welcoming and fabulous. There is such a good vibe throughout the whole salon. Rodolfo is a master at his craft. He looked at my hair color and prescribed the perfect color palette. Michel got my highlights to blend in naturally and look radiant. Every snip from Rodolfo's scissors was like second nature. The wigs and hair extensions on display are amazing. I've never seen anything like them. Rodolfo explained his patented hair extensions to me and how they were designed to be undetectable. I saw another client with extensions that looked like her own! I've always wanted long hair so I'm tempted to try that next! If you want a glamorous and elegant look, this is the place to go. No trendy music and inexperienced stylists... Just pure expertise!

I am a customer of Rodolfo Valentin since the day he opened his shop on Long Island. I moved to the city 12 years ago and tried many of the top salons without any satisfaction. My only choice was to make the commute back to Long Island so that I could be happy once again with the style genius of Rodolfo Valentin. After much persuasion I convinced him to open a salon in New York. I see him every week he handles my color, extensions and style and to sum it up he truly has "golden hands". I live down in Gramacy Park and I don't mind the ride up to 78th and Madison knowing that I will feel like a million dollars when I leave his salon. His staff is exceptional, friendly informative and knowledgeable. If Rodolfo is on vacation I am secure in knowing one of his trained staff can handle my needs as they are all trained by Rodolfo.

I am more than satisfied and grateful for the service I received as well as the georgous color I had since I went to him. I love everything he's done. About the prices??? I firmly believe that the amount I paid is more than just reasonable.. for $565 I got a lot of services - color, highlights, cut and blow - which i believe would cost me twice from other high end salons.Whenever I visit his salon I leave with peace of mind...Finally I found the best salon in New York. I was very impressed by the actual service that they provided but I was less than impressed with my bill.
I specifically said that I wanted a newer stylist when I booked because I couldn't afford more, I mentioned that AGAIN when I did the consultation and end result? I got the MOST expensive, Senior Stylist they had. I was quoted Mid-100's.... I left having paid almost $500. I will not be going back despite a great coloring.

Rodolfo is probably the only conscious hairdresser in the city. He gave me my hair back previously burnt by others inexpert (and very expensive) so-called hair colorists from very famous salons. Rodolfo took me into his exclusive hair infusion. I got again the length and volume previously lost, and thanks to his healthy and safe hair coloring methods, after one year my hair grow up healthier also with a great color. Rodolfo Valentin is without any doubt the supreme hair cutter in the city. Every word in that article was true. He followed the trends in fashion and gave me a new look keeping my personality untouched. Rodolfo prefers long hair but he also
Accepted my preference for shorter style and his artistic hands conferred to my hair a sophisticated look. Rodolfo told me that sometimes he gets a new client whose hair color needs correction, and it happens because the technician didnt understand what she wants and fault in recommending what is the right job for her. Like my case, my hair was deeply hurt by very famous colorists that were giving me the wrong color, so it was easy for them to cover the mistake with a dark color and start all over again pulling out highlights already previously bleached, darkened later and getting bleached again! I was obliged to use a lot of heavy conditioner to give my hair a decent silky texture otherwise it was like straw! Rodolfo instead, when it comes to re-touching, only pick up the same pieces of bleached hair and never mix the light ones with the dark ones, he avoids overlapping color and bleaching. He really knows what he is doing!

I finally got the color I want from Rodolfo Valentin! It cost me time to find him! Why is nobody saying anything about him? Is everybody afraid that he will get very busy? Many of my friends told me that the most important aspect of getting your colorist to give you the color you want is communication, and I tried that with every colorist in New York City, but it did not work! When the colorist does not know to do better, there is no way to get what you want (and I used most of the so-called BEST). When I walked into Rodolfos Salon at Madison Avenue, I was shaking I immediately relaxed when I realized that we were sharing the same vision, with no room for misinterpretation.

Definitely there are not better hair extensions that the hair infusion technique of Rodolfo. They are lightweight, not heat used to attach them as the most of the systems do avoiding burning my natural hair, and overall my hair is growing healthier I am in showbizs industry and believe me, Ive tried them all and infusions are the best. warning, Ive noticed that many other salons are promoting hair infusions and I asked to Rodolfo about it, he said presently he has not trained or giving the authorization to others to do it, (this is a intellectual property trademarked by Rodolfo) so if you are not careful you can ended up with the old systems burning your own hair.

Vogue magazine dictated it: "the ponytails are the fashion-style for this 2006 spring.
I run to my haircolorist Rodolfo Valentin to find the solution for my short hair.

Because there is not time for me to let it grow, I consulted with Rodolfo for the fastest way, and it was a custom made ponytail that exactly fits and matches the texture and color of my own hair. IT IS REALLY INCREDIBLE! It goes freely on my head and easy to attach, I just have to pull through my own hair and voila!!!!!!! The good thing is that I can still have my short style when I want it!

Rodolfo Valentin Ponytails are the best!, after reading the February issue of Vogue about Ponytails as a fashion style for any time of the day, I realized that I have a problem " I don't have enough hair to put in a pony",I rushed to Rodolfo Valentin Salon who happens to be the best colorist and haircut designer in Madison Avenue ( I've been upside down Madison Avenue and I cannot find an equal), but also the best hairpieces maker in the world. In few days, he hand-made a ponytail that is the envious of all my friends, and "I do not need a rubber band to hold it" as other hairstylists suggested in the Vogue article...Rodolfo has an unique pony built in a way that my own hair would go through and blend!!!. Everybody thinks it is my own hair!!!
Rodolfo, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY A GREAT ARTIST AND CREATOR!

Rudolpho saved my hair! I have naturally dark curly hair & took the leap to go blonde but I didn't go to Rudolpho's - my 1st & last mistake! The other salon slathered harsh chemicals all over my hair which turned it white with abrupt dark streaks & dark roots. It felt like dried wheat.

I was at Rudolpho's the next day & with his oversight, the colorist took my hair almost piece-by-piece with such precision & care that they turned my head into a gorgeous, silky blonde mane. People comment on how natural my hair looks. My own mother insists I've never looked so good!

I met Rodolfo a few years ago and from the first visit I knew I found the experience I was looking for. With ease Rodolfos looked after my every need from start to finish. I am welcomed in to impeccable surroundings, treated like a family member, prepared for a wash (which includes a full head massage one of my favorite things), offered a snack or anything Id like to drink, and of course lead to Rodolfo to perform his magic. Im then rewashed and returned to Rodolfo for styling. Now Im ready to face the world once again looking great and feeling younger.

Rodolfo has forever changed my expectation of a haircut experience & I look forward to my next visit each time.

I have also visited their flagship store in Cedarhurst Long Island, which features a top rated day spa. I highly recommend Rodolfos for marvelous service and treatment.

Two weeks ago I read a comment about Rodolfos infusions on glamour magazine, I have to thanks them for the advise. I got them last week. I have thinning hair and it has helped me a lot, people does not know what it is but they see something different on me. They are thinking that Ive changed my haircut! Now my hair is fuller, I wanted only volume not length (most of Rodolfos clients are looking for length). He also gave me the best haircut I have ever had! and as a bonus Rodolfo used different tones of infusion and the hair color result I got was unvelievable!!!I hope my posting will help others ( fashion and beauty is very important for me). The quality of services offered at Rodolfos are legendary, but nobody reports about the facilities,this is the most hygienic salon in the city! Although that they dont have spa at the Madison Avenue location (they have a Long Island spa voted the four top day spas in USA by American spa) his NY salon feels like you are getting hair services in a great spa: first highlight is the elevator that opens into the salon floor, the sense of privacy is enormous! Like youre coming into a friends home. There is a center table offering complimentary snacks (unbelievable!), the receptionist will help you change into a fresh robe. Their floor attendant will promptly bring to you any beverage you desire and the aromatherapy terry towels in the ladies rooms are abundant. It is a pleasure to spend time there. Rodolfo is a very refined guy with an inarguable sophisticated taste.

Rodolfo not only does the job, also spends time explaining to clients what he will do and how.I am a red hair, probably the most difficult color to achieve perfection. Rodolfo explained that he never does just a single process,he hates flaming roots and boring ends. I watched several redheads at his salon,Rodolfos redheads are really a work of art! Hair colorists from most salons in NewYork are always challenged by Reds, but No for Rodolfo!Light reddish people look better with copper, Rodolfo explained that this is why the shade is the most important RV keep saying that a lot of people can wear red, and should be at least three colors incorporated to give the dimension and highlighting.I got 5 dimensional redtones thanks to his Coding Coloring. UNVELIEVABLE GEORGEOUS!!- RODOLFO MY RESPECT FOR YOUR SKILLS IS INFINETLY HIGH!/, you are elegant and classy guy!!

I have found a place where true magic is made! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. From the owner to the assistants, there was not one bad attitude in this salon. I started with the japanese thermal reconditioning. Maritza was a true expert on the treatment and the result was perfectly straight healthy hair. Next was the hair infusion. Rudolfo put the extensions in with the help of 4 assistants and finished in 40 min.! The hair infusion is the most natural looking extension I have ever seen! Rudolfo and his team are true artists that love what they do and that shows through the work they are producing. After you see what they can do, you will not let anyone else touch your hair!

While enjoying my nails by Gloria, I was watching clients having their hair colored. I was able to see the results on 10 ladies each of them with unbelievable color effects. The techniques that Rodolfo uses are incredible! The most impressive was something call CODING COLOR TECHNIQUE it is done by applying 7 different colors of individual caps, each of them with different color formula it is the most impressive multi-tone highlights I ever saw. I got them and it was the best decision I ever made! And the price very reasonable comparing with the one month salary I used to spend with the others New York hair stars(and I was never completely happy as I am now!Rodolfo expertise is very high and hair does not have any secrets for him or his very well trained staff. In my opinion consistency is his key of success

The best hair color I have ever had, since Mr. Rodolfo is doing my color people constantly stop me wherever I go to ask me where I have my hair and color done, in addition I have added fusions to my hair for volume and lenghth and it is fabulous and has actually made me look years younger. For traveling he has taken several of my hats and with velcro and real european hair he has matched my color perfectly and made traveling so much easier, I no longer have to worry about having my hair done in a strange country. It is a real pleasure to go to this friendly and caring salon who take your hair as their own personal interest.

When I see an outstanding haircut or hair coloring I hurry to find out whom? And most of the time the answer is Rodolfo Valentin, so I decided to give him a visit. Almost a year now, I become addicted to him, he really paid close attention to what you want and he is so deeply perfectionist that he want to make sure youre completely satisfied before you leave the chair. No one, absolutely, no one ever did my hair color like Rodolfo. He really knows what he is doing with my hair (and everybody else in the salon agree). Hair is his passion and all of us call him the walking encyclopedia of hair. About his staff?, they are possible the nicest, most attitude free staff around ready to please you!

Ive been everywhere and I must to share my happinesssince I move to New York from Italy I spent four years searching for the right salon. I got very tired having my color in one place, my cut in another, even my blow dry! Until I found
Rodolfo Valentin in Madison Avenue, he really works like most Europeans he is a one-stop-shop where I get everything I want,best quality: the colors, the haircut, blow-dryand his well trained staff makes you feel very confident, they are multifaceted,you can feel very lucky if you get Rodolfo (probably the reason why his clientele keep him as the best secret of the city to meet him is an experience and the good news are that you do not have to climb narrow steps, the private elevator opens into the old world chic salon where the high society of new york frequent.
