The food is consistently abvoe average and the return clientele rave to their friends and want to keep it a secret from strangers. I've walked past it dozens of times but finally went in a few weeks ago. Excellent and attentive service throughout the meal and the food was prepared very nicely. Everything we had was delicious. The calamari appetizer, warm vegetable salad, and parmesan asparagus dishes were excellent. I ordered the chicken marsala - it was the best I've had! The complimentary bruschetta and cookies only added to the already wonderful dining experience. Service, excellent. We ordered simple pasta primavera, asked for it on homemade pasta which wasn't on the menu. No problem they made it with green and white homemade noodles. The veggies were the perfect combination, lightly sauced, tasty and excellent. I will go back to try more , lovely place..... Posted 08/27/06 ONE OF NY'S BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT By jessie18 I TOOK MY BOYFRIEND HERE FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND WE WERE SEATED AT A CORNER TABLE IN LIKE A PRIVATE ROOM BY A WINDOW, IT WAS VERY ROMANTIC AND THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. THE WAITERS WERE VERY ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY. I ALSO RECOMMEND THAT U DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT HAVING A PIECE OF TIRAMISU,IT IS THE BEST I'VE EVER TASTED! I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.
