Rhapsody has a small menu that changes often although it remains overpriced. The restaurant is connected to the symphony center so it remains a decent choice for before or after concerts and shows.

Although most diners here are attending a performance at the Chicago Symphony, you don't need to wait to enjoy the offerings here. They have some of the best bar food in town, as well as complete meals of good quality. A separate room is available for those special occasions (think the office Christmas lunch) and outside dining is available, weather permitting. This is a great place to eat downtown, whether you're going to the symphony or not.

PROS: great bar food and wine
CONS: crowded before concerts
