Locally-owned and-operated, Ame's Cleaning started 17 years ago. Ame cleaned homes personally for eight years, and knows the detail involved in keeping your home or office in tip-top condition. We are fully insured and take care of the following items: We send the same cleaners to your Home/Office each time. Our cleaners dust fans, cobwebs, blinds, window sills, and silk plants. We move all knick-knacks and other items from counters, table-tops, and vanities to clean the item and underlying surfaces, also wall hangings. We wipe down all doors, baseboards, cabinet fronts, air return ducts/vents. We scrub and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens; wipe inside the microwave, top of fridge, front of all appliances; vacuum and edge carpets, mop all floors, take out trash, sanitize trashcans, sweep and clean front entrances and back doors. Ame's is GREAT

So many of my neighbors use Ame's so I gave them a try. They were polite, thorough, efficient and well priced. I don't have routine visits (I call when I can't stand my house and need a base to start to attempt to keep clean). Ame does a great job at fitting me in whenever is convenient for me! Very highly recommended by me and I am PICKY!

Sorry to say - not good

I feel so badly saying it because Ame's came recommended (by someone who's job uses them for their office) and I want to support a small biz over a large company. I hired Ame's to clean our new house the day before we moved in so i could unpack straight away.
I was shocked to see how poor of a job the two women Ame's sent did. There were huge chunks of dirt on the rug (she said, "oh we're missing the piece to our vacuum"). There was dust on the shelf (she said, "oh we couldn't reach that"). I was almost in tears. The original charge was $180 for the house. I guess it was nice of them to return $80 of that to me. But it wasn't worth $100 that I paid and I was really in a bind. It messed us up unpacking so badly. There was no way I could find another company to come in time. So unpacking was a very unpleasant experience for us.
I do would not recommend Ame's at all. Again - I'm sorry to say because I'd like to support a small biz. But not this one.

Cons: Scheduling took several phone calls, service was terrible, not worth 1/2 of what I paid, not worth time or money

detailed cleaning every time

We have a home with several types of flooring, carpet, tile, wood and the mess that goes with two kids and a dog. Ame's cleaning comes when they say they will, does a great job every time and takes care of the details, light fixtures, fans ect. so my house is really clean. I've used them for over two years now.

Beware of Ame's

I just had my home cleaned by Ame's. The cleaning was okay but my floors were so sticky that I had to go over them with a wet mop. To their credit, they did a great job neatening my daughter's very messy room.
The worst of this experience however was in the pricing. I was given an option of the "detail" ($150-175, includes cleaning baseboards and getting out cobwebs and takes about 8 hours) or the "regular" ($90 still includes cleaning fans and all surfaces but not as deep and takes about 4 hours) service. I told Ame that I wanted the regular service for $90. She went on about how she is a one woman show and bla, bla, bla. The women came to clean about 10 minutes early (a bonus in my book!), but neither one was Ame. I was surprised, but okay with it. They finished 20 minutes shy of the 4 hours and left. A few minutes later, the woman who spoke "better" English came to the door and said Ame was on the phone. Ame informed me that I had not paid them enough. That I received the detailed service and that 2 women for 4 hours is a total of 8 hours. I complained, telling her that I indeed had asked for the regular service and she said that she that she wrote down in her notes that I wanted the detailed and asked me if I could pay the extra. I was furious, but I did not want them to not be paid so I gave them an extra $40. After the women left, I went to check my baseboards, and no surprise here...they were dusty. This is a cash only service so I have no recourse here. The money is gone and I am left with a less than satisfactory cleaning. Needless to say, I will not be using Ame's Cleaning again.

Ame's is GREAT!

I called Ame's and got EXCELLENT service. The girls came out and got after it. No kidding, I came home to a new house. They cleaned things I didn't even expect. Ame's goes above and beyond and the price is truly reasonable. What a stress reliever. All I can say is THANKS.
