Coobah

Coobah is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Whenever I have out of town guests I make sure to bring them here. It's a smaller place so I would recommend making reservations. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed every single dish - the chicken negra modelo is my favorite though. Service is always good and I love the decor - the ceiling fans are really cute.

If Latin cuisine is your thing, definitely try Coobah. The Clam chowder and the mojitos are a definite highlight, and the service is friendly. Pricing is average, and the patio is great!

From the interior and music to the great food and wine, Coobah is a wonderful neighborhood location.
Its a fun place to go in the summer or winter and the price isnt that bad!
It can get a bit noisy on a Friday or Saturday night, even in the back room but if you're looking for a quiet night, the week days are perfect!
I think this is a great place to have full dinner or grab a drink at the bar.

The food at Coobah was interesting and flavorful. Went with a group and had an easy time getting seated and served. There is a wide variety of dishes on their menu - including choices for a vegetarian. We enjoyed the outside patio and would go back.
