5 Stars: Upbeat staff and impressive setting (by Lillian N.)

I was very impressive with the service I received at 7 in downtown seattle. I greeted with a nice silk robe to change into, the group of stylish dressed hair designer (all dressed in black and white) stood around discussing my hair color. Labeling my hair as a level 4 then the lead stylist pronounce that I was actually a level 5 hair color and then suggested that I go lighter and even out my highlights from my previous coloring. I got a free lattes and a piece of dark chocolate. Jayne was a my colorist and she was so friendily and patient. It took over two hours to color my hair and she lost count of how many foil she put in my hair. The salon was very spacious and hip.

5 Stars: Cher is amazing!!! (by Julie P.)

After reading several reviews (several hundred actually), I decided to visit the 7 Salon in Seattle. I live in Bellevue, and had a consultation at the 7 Salon (Bellevue Square) about a year ago. But after the stylist told me I needed to have about 4 inches cut off my hair and forgo my 'security bangs,' I decided to go somewhere else. After several failed attempts to get the style I wanted, I decided to give 7 another try. When I called the Seattle Salon I asked the receptionist to recommend someone who had cut hair in the 80's and knew how to do a "Farah Fawcett" cut. She recommended Cher. I nervously made the appointment for that day. The first thing I noticed about the salon was the beautiful entry way of a large sculpture and a cool waterfall. I was offered a black silk robe and a latte. Since I don't drink coffee I opted for a bottled water. They also brought me a chocolate (nice touch). While waiting, I noticed a very striking woman with short (very short) blonde hair. She was doing a (very) short cut on another woman. There was something about her that I found intriguing. So, when she approached me as her next client I got a little nervous (short hair does short hair... but how is she with long hair??). She introduced herself as Cher and was very pleasant putting me at ease (in spite of my obvious nervousness). After talking with her and explaining what I wanted (the "Vidal Sasoon Farah Fawcett layered cut" so I'm told), she started cutting. I nervously tried to have a conversation, but felt in somewhat of a surreal state. She was fun to talk to, but always brought the conversation back to my hair (which I appreciated). Well, I could go on and on, so to make a long story short, I ended up with the BEST haircut I've ever had. It's still long, but layered just beautifully to frame my face. I can wear it long and sexy, or scrunch it up to wear it curly. It's exactly what I wanted.I would highly recommend Cher. She really listens and has an incredible eye for detail. I think I paid $85, but it was well worth it. Thank you so much, Cher!!! I love my haircut. I'll be back.
