Acupuncture worked for menopausal hot flashes

by khouck

I received acupuncture from Trisha a little over a year ago for terrible menopausal hot flashes I was having many times during the day at my job, and at night which was interrupting my sleep. I had suffered for many months before seeking treatment. After the first visit, I didn't notice a difference. After the second visit, there was some decrease in intensity and frequency. And after the third visit, they went away completely.

Then, a year and 3 mos. later they came back and I saw her again just recently. It took a little longer (6-7 visits) but the hot flashes resolved. Also, she treated me for some very painful muscle cramps in my back I was having at night -- this was resolved after one treatment.

The one thing that impresses me so much about Trisha is that she is so dedicated to making sure you get well in the most efficient time she can. If certain points don't work, she'll try others. She truly cares about her patients and she gives you so much individual attention. She's extremely gentle and it is a relaxing experience to go and see her. I'll continue to go back for any other issues to see her. Thank you Trisha Han!!

Pros: Natural approach to health and wellness

Cons: Can't think of any

Trish is amazing!

by Steelstrings

Trish has been most helpful in relieving the pain, dizziness and lack of strength caused by a pinched nerve I suffered back in April..Since beginning treatments a short while ago, I am about 99.999% back to normal. I can't recommend her services highly enough. Neurologists and general practitioners were pretty useless and I believe if I hadn't found Trish's Mother Nature's Acupuncture through City Search I may still be in a very bad state of health and mind.Try her today. You will not be disappointed!

Pros: Wonderful care and attention

South Austin secret that will change your life--

by browntoastbass

After my first appointment with Trisha I was hooked. Her warm personality and knowledge of Chinese medicine comfortably relaxed me while she strategically placed the acupuncture needles to balance my Qi, or "energy flow." I noticed instant results with lasting effects that have treated everything from current and past injuries, to the common cold or allergies. I highly recommend everyone to try Mother Nature Acupuncture for first timers or seasoned connoisseurs of this thousand year old traditional medicine.

Pros: effective treatment

Cons: none

Mother Nature's Acupuncture is truly a blessing

by deasmus

Trisha Han has made a real difference in my health after just 6 months. My first session was in February, just after I had major surgery. At the time I thought I'd never feel normal again. Once I started acupuncture (never tried before) everything improved, and has continued to improve. In fact today I feel great and I believe that Trisha's healing hands and gentle way has made that possible. She has my highest recommendation.

Pros: Friendly, caring, experienced practitioner. Soothing and restful sessions.

Cons: none

Highly recommended acupuncturist who truly cares about her patients

by atxgirl5

I've been meaning to post a review here for quite some time now. My husband suffered from debilitating eczema for nearly 15 years, and we had tried everything and seen everyone from dermatologists to allergists and even rheumatologists. We had also tried homeopathy. It was not until my husband started going to Trisha that his eczema began to steadily improve, to the point where, barely a whole year later, he is almost completely cured. Trisha has given my husband his life back, and has helped him when we thought we were almost out of options. She is also a wonderful, friendly person who truly cares. We will never be able to thank her enough and we recommend her wholeheartedly.

Pros: highly effective treatment, friendly and caring practitioner

Cons: none

Pain free after suffering for months!

by elsh

I had a miscarriage 6 months ago. During and following that I had a variety of infections that would not go away. I was so tired of taking the antibiotics. I would take a course, the symptoms of pain and irrititation would go away for a week or so and then return with a vegence. I suspected that the antibiotics were contributing to a vicious cycle, but I was in such discomfort that any relief was welcome. I started seeing Trisha about 3 weeks ago and after about 3 treatments, my symptoms started to disappear, first they became less intense and then went away entirely. I'm now at almost 2 weeks pain free and feel healthier and better than I have in ages. The pain and discomfort was making me irritable and depressed. I would recommend Trisha to anyone, especially someone suffering from something that western doctors just want to throw antibiotics or painkillers at. Trisha is a true healer, not a word I use lightly.

Also -- she is much less expensive than the 3 other acupuncturists I've seen in the past.

I highly recommend Trisha and Mother Nature's Acupuncture.

Pros: Very effective, treatments are very relaxing

Cons: none

Superior service.

by rturtle

Trisha's treatment has enabled me to continue playing mandolin and guitar. I was, quite frankly, at wit's end, having had no luck with local physicians, whose treatments consisted of writing prescriptions. The hand and wrist pain has abated considerably, and I find that I can play music when I want, and not just when the pain will allow me to play. She's also treated me for other ailments, most recently back pain - I have never recovered so quickly from a back episode as I did this last time, and I attribute that primarily to Trisha's ability!

Excellent Treatment, Completely Competent and Great Customer Service!!

by lowellreynolds

I have been going to Trisha Han the past few months for treatment of a rare Neurological Disorder of the Spinal Cord called Transverse Myelitis. After being diagnosed with the disorder for 3 months, my Neurologist recommended acupuncture. When I went to Trisha I was having severe back/ neck, pain, abnormal tingling and numbing sensations in my hands and legs, very low energy, and gastrointestinal problems. After a few treatments I noticed a huge difference in my symptoms. I wish I would have gone to her earlier. I recently went back to my Neurologist and he was so impressed with my progress. I am still recovering from the disorder, but Trisha has definitely helped speed up the healing process. Thank you!!!

Pros: very reasonable prices, service is exceptional

Excellent acupuncture treatment

by marytrentham

Trisha is an excellent practitioner. She helped me with a very bad neck injury in about four treatments, for a very reasonable price.

I have also benefitted from lower stress levels, better digestion, and fewer mentrual/PMS problems.

I continue to see her for better immune system function and more energy. Since I've been getting acupuncture and herbs, I've lost 5 pounds.

I have taken my seven year old son to see Trisha, and she was very good with him, helped to clear up a persistent cough.

I highly recommend this practitioner.

Pros: Great treatment, Good value, South

Mother Natures Acupuncture

by reenichols

I have a bladder disorder called interstitial cystitis. I have tried several different types of treatments in the past (i.e. medications, and bladder installations). I have also been under the treatment of two other acupuncturists in the past. I went to Trisha because all of the treatments were becoming too expensive and I was getting little to no relief. I decided to try Acupuncture again and chose Trisha Han because of all the positive reviews I had seen posted.
I have been under her treatment over the past few months and she has helped me tremendously. My abdominal pain and urinary frequency have both significantly decreased. I have also dramatically reduced my intake of pain medication. I would recommend her services to my family members and closest friends.

Thanks,

Ree Nichols

I must be dreaming!

by lyera

Trisha Han is a highly skilled practitioner of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I feel fortunate to have found her practice because she is 'the real deal' when it comes to Oriental Medicine. She is compassionate, authentic to the practice, and in it for all the right reasons. She listens to the patient, does her research and tries new approaches. She also will make recommendations to other practitioners who might specialize in certain areas like individualized herb compounding, which I respect since she doesn't claim to be all things to everyone but knows the art well enough to know who is who in this industry.

Pros: Skillful, Compassionate, Competent

Exquisite Treatment in Serene Environment

by carlenesouth

Trisha's practice is precise. She listens to your words as well as your body, and treats you accordingly. She proceeds calmly and gently, always monitoring your comfort and relaxation. She also provides herbal supplements and other alternatives that I have found extremely helpful. Trisha has helped me with several injuries/strains in a very few visits. I could easily go every week just for the lovely, deep state of relaxation. Thank you, Trisha

Thank you!

by frank bailey

I went to see Trisha because I suffered from plantar fasciitis (heel pain) for 2 years. I had previously been seen by a podiatrist whose treatment included orthotics and Vioxx (now withdrawn from the market due to problems with its safety). The relief was temporary. Trisha treated me with acupuncture and herbal medication. After several months of treatment, I had significant pain reduction. Now, my heel pain is nearly gone. I hope and expect to be able to get back to jogging in the near future, thanks to Trisha.

My experience

by miranda ramirez

I am writing this rating not because I have to but because I feel like, Tricia should be recommended because she is a very caring and nurturing person. If you choose her practice you will surely see that she really cares about you and your problem not just about your business, like some other places you could go. I began going to her for stress related problems that caused my back to hurt really bad but I can see now, how the pain is starting to go away and I 'm also finding ways to deal with my strss thanks to Tricia. Not only did the accupucture work but the herbs she prescribed me have also helped alot. So check her out for yourself after reading this and see for yourself how a really great person puts compassion into her work.
Thanks Tricia Han for everything!

Miss. Miranda Ramirez

Pros: inexpensive, great enviroment, relaxing

Cons: , none, none
