Salon Thalia

Thanks to John and Wyatt, I am now a beautiful redhead! This is the first time I went to a salon in the USA. Even tho I am from the area, I used to always travel to Toronto to get my hair done. I am tired of that. I finally found the right place and the right guys. I walked in, said I had no idea what I wanted, and I was amazed in the end. The salon was gorgeous and I got an appt very quickly. I will be back very soon! (thanks guys!)

Gregory is amazing! I had a manicure and pedicure last week. His technique and consultation allowed me to understand and learn more about my needs. This wasn't just the basic manicure/pedicure. He went above and beyond my expectations! The salon was beautiful, and Gregory has a private hand and foot beautificiation treatment center. I highly recommend him!!!!

Everyone was very freindly in a very cool and trendy looking salon, without it feeling condescending. Bruce gave me a fabulous cut and highlights and really worked with me on what would be good with my face shape and skin tone. Completely worth the cost and I truly believe Salon Thalia will stop my hair salon wandering ways.

After years of trying to find a good Salon in Philadelphia, I finally came upon "Salon Thalia". I was referred by a friend who was very impressed with the service and the atmosphere. I made an appointment with a young lady named Tiffany. The person who answered the phone was very professional and courteous. Upon my arrival I was also impressed by the contempory,clean and beautiful environment. The people at the front desk were upbeat and friendly. Tiffany came out on time to great me. She was very consultative and knowledgable. She quickly grasped what I was looking for and went on to perform an outstanding job on my hair. Thank you Tiffany and Salon Thalia!!

Salon Thalia offers an unbelieveable all-around experience. The Salon itself is absolutley stunning. I experienced the best facial of my life by Terry. And then my experience only got better from there. I finally have found the stylist of my dreams. Bruce Slemmer made me feel like I was a star and went over and beyond just being a stylist. He made me comfortable and even showed me ways to get the "salon feeling" everyday when I do my hair. The color was awesome. He made my highlights look so natural and gave me a used amazing products, Kerastase. I couldnt help but buy every product that he recommended because they made my hair look the best its even been.

I loved this salon and I cant wait to go back.

The beautiful space and attentive staff make you feel like a VIP from the moment you walk in. I go to Maria, the owner, and have FINALLY found a stylist I will never cheat on. She holds herself to the highest standards and demands the same excellence from her staff. I've also had my hair done by Michael, Ashley, and Mia and loved each experience. In addition, you can't get a better shampoo anywhere else in the city - kudos to Wyatt and Carolyn. The staff is friendly, professional, and extremely skilled in what they're doing but lacking in the pretentious attitude that is common among such high end establishments. I look forward to every haircut and would encourage anyone in need of an amazing stylist to give Salon Thalia a chance - I promise you won't be disappointed.

I finally found a makeup artist i can trust! Ashley was great! Before, i would always wear the same makeup all the time. Ashley showed me different colors that would go well with my skin tone, and my eyes. And, she also showed me different looks for day time and night time. I use her tips, and it's easy for me to do at home! Thanks for making me beautiful Ashley!!!

I am new to Philadelphia and spent a lot of time searching for the right salon and stylist... then I found MIA. I am a model, so it is part of my job to always look my best. I am so happy that I finally found MIA. She is THE BEST and always makes me look and feel great! My hair is very thick and difficult to manage- or was- until Mia helped me find the right style that fits my face and my on the go lifestyle. I would and have reccomended Mia to all my friends, she really is an expert!

I have visited over 15 salons in Philly and have finally found what I was looking for. This salon is in an incredible space, the staff is the most professional and pleasant I have ever encountered. They are highly skilled and still make you feel pampered and right at home. I had highlights done by Mia and my hair looks fantastic! The prices were comparable or less than other prices I have paid and i left feeling GREAT! This salon was the only place where the staff didn't have attitudes even though they are the only ones who deserved to have one!

Liz H gave me the confidence I need to change the stlye of my usually extremely dull hair with her comforting environment and amazing results that changed what I thought about trying something new. Liz H showed all the qualities of an experienced professional with her techniques and quick results of beautiful highlights and a whole new shine of color throughout my hair. Not only was my hair fabulous but my time at Salon Thalia was a time of clean cut, high class experience, with the generosity of the people working there, specifically Liz H! Everyone in the salon are very friendly. And the salon itself is comfortable and clean.

Mia was the woman who cut my hair. she worked on me for over 45 min. Seemed like a perfectionist. great personality also.

I started going to Bruce a couple of years ago when he was at another salon in Newtown where I live. Believe me, he's worth the 45 minute drive into the city!!! His coloring skills are exceptional, as are his cutting & styling skills. I can't tell you how many people have told me how great my hair looks! And since he's been at Salon Thalia he is so much happier. I really like Michele, one of the assistants, too. In fact the whole staff is so friendly - it's really a pleasure to go here.

If you want a 1st class salon without the usual snobbery, this is the place! I can't overstate how happy I am with my Salon Thalia experience. Every employee I encountered, from the receptionist to the stylists (including mine, the fabulous Mia!) was warm and welcoming. Mia spent about 4 1/2 hours cutting, coloring, and highlighting my hair, and after a few minutes, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. My hair was in sorry shape when I arrived--when she was done working her magic, it was unbelievable--I couldn't believe it was me in the mirror! I'll never go anywhere else in the city again.

I LOVE Salon Thalia! Everyone is sooo pleasant and down to earth, no pretensious snobs here, the atmosphere is fabulous - relaxing and upbeat at the same time, and spotlessly clean. I can't tell you how many people have complemented me on my hair, Liz Jacobs is such a great stylist and very fun!

I JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT MY WONDERFUL EXPERIANCE AT SALON THALIA, FROM THE TIME I WALKED IN UNTIL WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO LEAVE, THE STAFF MADE ME FEEL SPECIAL. Can't stress it enough what a relaxing and calm atmosphere . Exclusively on Mondays only, Andre' DeLuca the next hair guru of philadelphia. Words can't describe the over all service Andre' had given me, from the one on one consultation were he took his time in to explaining in detail what he was going to do, with his unique way of cutting and working with my natural hair texture to cre8 the perfect style for me, and also learning how to achieve different styles and looks with blowdrying techniques and product knowledge.What to use and what to stay away from, and most important how to limit my time in the morning to achieve my fabulous style. Two thumbs up, words can't describe Andre'. Its without a doubt a experience to see him in action for yourself. You won't regret it, better book now his getting busy fast. Monday's only:(

I got a recommendation from a friend of mine who got her hair done by Lauren. I went in to visit her & OH MY GOD. I could not have asked for a better cut and color. I absolutely love my highlights and and my cut could not be better. Lauren really listened to everything I wanted and she achieved it!! I LOVE IT!!

Your search is over if you are looking for an upscale salon that gives 100% attention to YOU! The staff is so pleasant and is committed to making your stay a special one from the moment you arrive until you head out the door. Michael is my stylist and he does an amazing job. He is patient and he listens. Then he incorporates my input into a wonderful style that I can keep looking good at home! I've met many of the other stylists, too and they are as equally attentive to making you look gorgeous and younger! The salon is absolutely stunningly beautiful and luxurious and the products they use are top notch. On top of that, you can park in the garage underneath the building. I'll never go to another salon again! This one has it all.

From the second i walked into Salon Thalia, i felt comfortable, relaxed, and my stress went away! My first encounter with the staff at Salon Thalia was making my appt and I could not ask for a nicer receptionist. Little did I know that the courtesy would carry on to the rest of the staff upon my arrival at the salon. I was blown away by the salon's magnifecence in beauty and customer service. I went to Pileggi on the Square prior and they could learn a few things from the staff at Salon Thalia. I got highlights and a cut and it was the best hair style and color I ever received. I would highly recommend Salon Thalia anyone who wants to be treated well and receive a great hair style. Salon Thalia is definitely the hot new salon in Philadelphia!!
