I needed a mobile groomer on short notice for Boomer and Bebe. Pampered Pets arrived promptly the next morning. The dogs absolutely loved the groomer, Santos. He was friendly, courteous, and most of all a very talented groomer. Bebe and Boomer were looking show dog ready when he finished. I can't remember my dogs ever being so clean, happy and beautiful!
Add me to the list of monthly regulars who love Pampered Pets.

We've been using Pampered Pets for more than 4 years. They are great! They were very helpful when our large German Shepherd had surgery and required a lot of extra TLC - they even brought an extra person to make sure she received the best possible care. They are also very accommodating to our dog's sensitive skin by using a gentle shampoo -what can I say??? She's high maintenance! We've been very pleased with Pampered Pets service - the groomers are quite knowledgeable about dogs and have more than once pointed out ear trouble that required a trip to the vet. If you choose to get on a regular schedule, the same groomer comes each time, which helps greatly with the dogs comfort level. Our dog loves her groomer and gets VERY excited every time she sees him.

From on time service to regularly scheduled visits you can't go wrong! I have them every other week come and groom Ty and it's the best. Never a problem and she loves when the van pulls into the parking lot at the office. now she's spoiled and wants a bow on all the time and won't get in the shower.

Having had dogs for 13 years in Los Angeles I can say from the heart that Pampered Pets is the best grooming service I've used. Anja (the owner) is fantastic and always on top of scheduling and the care of your pet. If our dog had a rash or fleas ( something that Valerie, our groomer would notice)Anja always gave me a phone call to give me the heads up. We loooooove Valerie who was our regular groomer. She knew Meatball so well, he would actually get excited for his grooming. Sadly Meatball died a few weeks ago. I called Anja to let her know and she couldn't have been sweeter. Two days later we got flowers from the girls at Pampered Pets!!!!!! So along with sorely missing our Meatball we will miss our monthly visits from the Pampered Pets van and Valerie. I could not recommend them more highly. Whenever the day may come that we get another dog Anja will be one of our first phone calls!

first time here. my dogs are 13 somewhat arthritic and have never been professionally groomed.
santos was prompt, gentle, and kindly. one dog came prancing through the door when she was all groomed. both looked like show dogs...........they are mutts! their fur looked silky and smelled wonderful. i will most certainly call upon them again for regular grooming............i only wish that they groomed people as well!!!!

Anja & Valerie promptly showed up at my home to groom my chocolate lab Zabri. They quickly set-up the grooming van and got to work on Zabri. It had been about 6 weeks since his last grooming and Zabri was excited to see the van pull up into the driveway because he knew he was in for a treat. They have been grooming Zabri for about 10 years now and he always looks amazing when they are through with him. He look great and smells even better. The service usually takes about 45 minutes. They are very thorough and gentle with Zabri; so much in fact that he can't wait to get inside that van and into their caring hands! I would recommend their service to anyone that loves their pet!

My dogs are clean, happy, their fur is shiny, less shedding, their skin isn't dry...we've been using them for years. Anya, the owner, is very organized and can keep track of any kind of bathing schedule you need...she'll just cal you a few days before to confirm your time. The dogs love to get bathed now..they get a little snack at the end too! They can handle all kinds of dogs, even my 140 pound mastiff (i'm not really sure how they get him into the tub without a crane) but 45 minutes later he comes out bouncy, clean, smelling great and wearing a big bow around his neck! They really take their time and are very thorough. I have never been dissapointed with pampered pets.

My dog, Hubbell, is a handful. Getting him to settle down long enough to get a treat, let alone a bath, is always an adventure. Anja of Pampered Pets was somehow able to calm Hubbell down and get him to relax and enjoy the experience.
It's clear that Anja operates Pampered Pets as a top notch service business. Anja promptly returned my call requesting information and was clear regarding the scope of the service and the cost. There were no last minute surprises when they showed up. The van showed up exactly when it was scheduled to arrive, which was great as I'd decided to wait and be there for the first visit to make sure everything went smoothly. Anja immediately took control of the situation and let Hubbell know who was boss. His anxiety level completely diminished when he realized he was in good hands, and Anja's soothing attitude lulled Hubbell into a state of complete relaxation. You would have thought he was at Burke Williams getting the full treatment.
When he was done Hubbell looked and smelled fabulous and he decided he wanted to be the company mascot and not leave the van to come back inside. He will definitely be seeing Pampered Pets on a regular basis.

Pros: convenient, professional and a high level of customer service (for the dog and the human)

Cons: more expensive than a storefront groomer, but worth it for the high level of individual attention and convenience

Anja Heller of Pampered Pets has been an important part of my life for 20 years. Without children, my pet's welfare and happiness are a major concern and priority to me.

I have been a Yorkie lover and owner since 1973 and currently have twin yorkies...George and Gracie.

Anja's compassion and inherent understanding of the needs of animals along with her superior grooming skills and professionalism are a rare find.

She takes pride in her service, giving me total piece of mind knowing George and Gracie are in her care.

Since moving to LA a few months ago, I have been searching for a dog groomer. I finally found Pampered Pets. Not only do Anya and her staff know what they are doing but they are friendly and accommodating. And, most importantly Chester and Otis love them. I highly recommend calling Pampered Pets today!

We have known Anya and trusted her with our canine family members for over 11 years. She and her assistant, Santos, are truly "dog people." We appreciate their wonderful, on-time service and how they really care about our pets' well being and comfort. All of our pets look forward to their light touch and yummy treats. Anya even taught us how to properly (and safely) clip the cats' claws! We happily-- and highly -- recommend Pampered Pets.

Pampered Pets has been grooming my dogs for over 14 years!!!! They have handled my babies with love and respect. I would not trust anyone else to take care of them and I am extrememly careful on who works on my pets. I recommend Pampered Pets with out any hesitations whatsoever.

Anya and her assistant are very reliable and responsible -- but make sure you absolutely insist on gentle handling...they will let you observe the bath and grooming if you have the time.

UPDATE: 3/10/08: I don't think they would be using fake reviews as someone suggested-- but I do think you should observe and make sure the handling is gentle. I also have two dogs -- and they seemed to be very resistant when Pampered Pets came to the house. I stopped service when I heard one of my dogs cry out from the house (could have been a nail clipped too short, as Anya suggested) -- then she became very depressed following her bath -- as I said, they were always extremely reliable and seemed professional -- but at the end of the day, I had to listen to my dogs --they normally run to greet everyone (they are goldens) -- but really hated the bath...and would run in the other direction when PP approached...I can't account for the discrepency in the reviews...

After calling around to several mobile grooming services, I'm glad I went with Pampered Pets. The service was wonderful, and their prices were very competitive. The driver was on time, and she really seemed like she loved dogs. Being a dog person, this was very important to me. These days, good customer service is hard to come by. I will definitely use Pampered Pets again, and would highly recommend them.
