Check out this cool new spot in Berkeley, the Pasand Lounge offers a swank décor with delicious signature drinks and a selection tasty Indian tapas. Familiar music and a cozy, exotic atmosphere, make this lounge an ideal place for getting your night started, a night on the town, or for a casual drink with that special someone. We have Rock Legened Night on Mondays at 9pm, On Tuesdays we have an upcoming DJ on the Berkeley scene DJ Sola, Wednesdays are Trivia Nights starting at 8:30pm, and on Thursday - Sundays we feature live DJ's spinning some awesome music and there is never a cover charge (who likes to pay those anyway?). We have delicious Pasand tapas and curry bowls on our menu which is served until 10pm, Tuesday-Sunday. Our specialty drinks include the Kama Sutra, the Monsoon and the Cherry bomb.

Great Chill Out Place, Good Food, Good Music 5 Star Rating - World class

I checked out this place with about 6 friends, and we had a great time. The drinks were unique and the food was really good. (My friends couldn't stop ordering the Cherry Bombs!) We ate, drank, and chilled out to the DJ spinning ambient/house that got better as the night got later. My friends and I will definitely be coming back.

Great spot to relax & have fun any night. 5 Star Rating - World class

Since it got a major facelift last year, this has become probably my favorite bar in Berkely. It's always fun, but I especially recommend the Wednesday night trivia game which is a real blast.

Relaxed Atmosphere--A Favorite in Berkeley 5 Star Rating - World class

I was surprised to discover a place like this in Berkeley--it reminds more of New York's lower east side bar scene, except with good, friendly service. Great place to bring friends--good for conversation (a plus is that you can hear yourself talk). Relaxed, hip atmosphere, and awesome drinks--we like the snakecharmer. I'm a phD student and don't get into SF all that often, but this place compensates!

Great new lounge 5 Star Rating - World class

My girlfriend lives in Berkeley and now we have a "go to" place. Being that I live in SF, we always spent the weekends here. Now, I have no problem being in Berkelely on a Friday or Saturday night. It's an older (30's) crowd so you don't have to deal with drunken college kids. Chill music and great lounge atmosphere. I recommend this place.
