I have always had a good experience with Helena and enjoy her attention to the details. I have been seeing Helena since late 2005 which was before she opened her own facility. I have found her to be very engaging, very professional, pleasant, courteous and honest. \r

Helena always keeps a very clean and inviting environment so even an old curmudgeon like me feels welcomed. I would highly recommend Helena and her staff to anyone who is looking for these types of personal services. Fantastic! Staff was very attentive and professional. Almost no pain involved in the waxing process and technician verified my preferences and comfort level at every step. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Highly relaxing atmosphere. Reasonable prices. I am done with waxing at home and will be returning to Helena's.

The experience is just like what others have said. However, I really wish they would call you to confirm/remind you of your appointment. They don't.

I went to Helena's after reading a multitude of positive reviews. I have never gotten any waxing, never eyebrows, let alone bikini area, but I went for it despite the fear of pain and it was nothing like what I expected. The spa is beautiful, clean and serene which was the perfect first impression. Lindsey was so nice and explained the entire process as we went. I can't say that there was no pain at all, but it was not as bad as I though it would be. The products that were recommended were perfect and the redness was gone within 24 hours. Thanks for a great experience and I will definitely recommend Helena's to my fiends.

Ok so I have the biggest problem a woman could ever have. I'm hunted with very course facial hair. I have always use razors or some kind of chemical to remove the hair and I hated because it would either leave bumps from the razor or a breakout from the chemical. I heard about about waxing and wanted to try it. Went to one place and it was the worst, but I'm no quitter so I found Helena. OMG she has been my waxing ANGEL!!

Helena and her staff are so friendly and welcoming. The spa is nice and peaceful. Helena always makes sure that every hair on my face is gone!! The best part is that she does with very little pain. I have never seen someone take so much time and care for their clients to insure they are completely satisfied like Helena does. Also the thing that really impresses me it that she is very knowledgeable about the business that she is in. I have gotten great skin care tips and products from Helena!!

If I don't know anything else I know this for sure I will NEVER go back to razors or chemicals, and I will always come to Helena's to be waxed!!!

Went in for the Brazillian wax a little apprehensive, but interested at the same time. Christiane was AWESOME!!! Very little pain during the process and once waxing was done, no pain at all!. Very pleased! Very personable! Very comfortable! Very good! Will be returning!

I've had many uncomfortable, painful waxing experiences, and am relieved to have finally found Christiane at Helena's! Definitely the least painful, most (relatively) comfortable and the fastest brazilian wax I've ever had. I will definitely be returning to Christiane and Helena's!

Isabel was my Esthetician. She was very personable and made me feel comfortable and welcome. After the wax was over I had a huge grin on my face because I was so excited about how painless it was. I have extremely sensitive skin and you could hardly tell that I just had any kind of wax. Although it is more expensive then most places, you really get what you pay for. I love this place. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and made you feel at ease. I had never had a brazilian wax before this, and was really nervous, but this is a place that I will definitely return to.

I was scared of getting waxed. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was some pain but she made me feel very comfortable and talked me through the whole experience. Great place and I will be coming back.

WOW!! I cannot express how GREAT my experience was at Helena's! It was my first time at the spa AND my first time doing a Brazilian wax. I have never waxed before and only shaved my bikini area, so I was really nervous. But I knew I had to try it cause shaving and creams weren't giving me the desired look I wanted, plus it all grew back so fast.

Helena's was not only professional, but really beautiful and calming. The staff was really sweet and talked me through the whole process and much to my surprise...it didn't hurt!! I think I was prepared for something like that scene in Hitch where Kevin James' character gets his back waxed and he's screaming to high heaven...so you can imagine how relieved I was when it went really smooth!! LOL!! There was one sensitive spot where I kinda jerked, but seriously other than that It was actually calming!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone out there...especially a newby!! :)

I had my first Brazilian wax done at Helena's. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience despite all the hype about the pain etc. on the internet. This is one of the few places that catered male Brazilian in Houston. I am glad I picked them and am not going anywhere else.

I wanted to get the waxing done as an adventure, upon request from my girlfriend. But I am going back for Brazilian, as pain was minimal and the benefits outweigh the small amount of pain.

The staff was very courteous and welcoming for making appointments and at the time of check-in. The place was immaculate and elegant. It created a calming presence the moment I walked in and created a comfortable environment. My esthetician Lindsey was extremely good in treating me and making me comfortable and less nervous. She did a fantastic job taking care of a first time waxing customer.

Overall, I recommend Helena's without doubt for Brazilian waxing.

Today was the first time @ Helena's Day Spa! I have to say........Wow!!! I had Helena herself do my Brazilian wax. Yes it still hurts, but only for a moment, she recommends a few products to help soothe and moisturize your skin after your done. She makes sure that she has a nice steady conversation while doing your waxing, that in no time i was done!! She's very detail, when she says she's going to leave you free of hair, she means it!!! I'm very pleased with the results, Thank you Helena see you in 6 weeks!!

I went there for my very first waxing experience and I have to say they are great! Becari (my go-to girl) did such a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable and at ease. I don't think I will ever go anyplace else. I like that they make sure to use creams and a redness reducing device to help. They have extended hours and are open on weekends for those of us with crazy work schedules. I am really glad my first time getting a wax was a pleasant one.

I had been thinking about getting a brazilian wax for some time and finally got up the nerve. I had been researching online for places in the Houston area. During my search I came across Helena's. I had passed by the old location on several occasions so I was familiar with the name.

After reading so many wonderful reviews I was convinced that this was the only place that I would trust to provide the professionalism, experience and quality of service of I was seeking.

When I first arrived I was taken back by the beauty and charm of the building itself, very sleek and modern. Once inside, I felt like I was at a truly upscale establishment. The decor is very calm and soothing which was a plus to me and this was my first experience with brazilian waxing.

I was greeted immediately by the very friendly front desk associate and promptly taken back to the service room. The room itself was spacious and immaculate, very clean!!!

Helena's herself administered the waxing service and explained the process every step of the way which was a relief to me as I had no idea what to expect. The whole process itself took less time than I expected and I experienced very little discomfort once the process was over.

The products Helena recommended to me for use worked extremely well to aid with the minor discomfort and to prevent ingrown hairs.

I am now hooked and would not think about going any place else! I have recommended Helena's to a couple of my girlfriends who currently go to other establishments for their services. I have a feeling that they may be joining Helena's long list of truly satisfied customers!

I recently moved here from Florida and have been looking for a place that actually knows what a Brazilian wax is and I finally found it!!! I went to Helena's for the 1st time earlier this week and it was a great experience. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and Brazilian! Many businesses use certain terms to draw a clientele like, ""European Wax Center"". They are a joke and the worst!\r

But back to my delightful experience. Just when I thought that I've had it all, done it all, I get hip to new things. These ladies take extra steps to prevent irritation, bumps and all the other things associated with hair removal. They have products and a device they use to calm the skin after complete. WOW! This was my 1st wax that I didn't feel like I got a spanking after I left. LOL!!!

Helena's Spa is the most luxurious spa in Houston. It has state of the art spa equipment and a lovely style. I feel like I am in a resort spa when I visit for treatments. For the first time in my life, I had a brazilian that was not painful. My skin was soft and actually looked good when I left. Her products are AMAZING. If you want to take great care of that area, buy all of the products she offers for a brazlian wax. My skin is soft and I have had no ingrown hairs since I have used the three products I purchased. I now go on a regular basis and am so pleased with the results.

I drove down from Dallas to experience true magic. Everyone treated me with respect and courtesy. To my surprise the place was brand new and well done. Very serene and the staff made it even more amazing. I drove down for the joy of being treated well. There are places in Dallas . But this one tops the line and anyone's expectations. Thank you all very much for the experience. Loved the massage. Loved the of the facility and most of all enjoyed being treated as a king for a day. Helena congratulation on a amazing place.

The staff at Helenas Spa is extremely friendly, prompt, and courteous. They certainly do whatever they can to ensure the client is comfortable. However, I am surprised by the reuse of wax rollers. I was told they reuse the wax rollers since they are just used for arms and legs. But, it does not seem sanitary to me. I would be interested to know if the spray bottles, ointments, etc. are all wiped down with a cleaning agent between clients since the estheticians touch these items wearing the gloves used to wax the body. Yes, I am a little overzealous when it comes to sanitation, but Id rather not end up with an unwanted skin condition.

Helena's has moved to a new location and I absolutely love it. It is fabulous. I usually get a brazilian wax, but now I can't wait to get all the other services - massage (couples massage), facials, mani and pedi!! I love it so much and wouldnt go anywhere else!!

I have been going to Helena's for two years now and I have never had a bad experience. The price may be a little steep but it IS worth it. I have very sensitive skin and I never get irritated after a wax. Ladies, if you want to get an amazing Brazilian wax but also feel very comfortable then Helena's is the place to go. I had almost given up on brazilian waxing before I found this place. I have a LOW tolerance for pain, and felt like was not going to be able to make it a part of my regular routine (because of the pain). I tried this place as a last ditch effort, and loved it!
