I get both my eye brows and the brazilian wax done by Shanna and no complaints. Excellent job, clean establishment and friendly service. I highly recommend Helenas. You won't be disappointed.

I went for the first time to Helenas a couple of weeks ago and really like the attention and more over the service. I didn't suffer the waxing, and the post waxing, which is usually horrible, was very smooth.\r

I moved to Houston from Baltimore last year and had been contemplating getting my first Brazilian wax since then. However, in a new city with not many contacts to get referrals, I was hesitant. Recently, I decided to start doing some research to find a location that had great customer service and would take the best care of me. I was extremely nervous about it given some of the horror stories I have received from friends. I ended up checking out City Search and found Helenas Brazilian Wax and Spa. When I got my first Brazilian wax and it was awesome. It was uncomfortable but not unbearable. I have stopped getting my eyebrows waxed (I get them threaded now) but it was touch more uncomfortable than that. I think the part that made it less painful was that Christina (my aesthetician) was very skilled at keeping me entertained and took the time to make sure I was ok. I have already scheduled my next appointment!

This was my best waxing experience by far. I have been waxed at several other salons over the years however at Helena's I received good service and Christina was very knowledgeable and skilled. As long as I live in the Houston area I won't go to another location. They really do care about their clients and try to provide them with the best waxing experience possible!

I have been a happy client for over a year! I love Isabelle -- she is very thorough, always has a smile on her face, listens to what I need/want, and goes out of her way to make my busy schedule work! I am very happy every time I leave Helena's, and that is so rare these days. They are the best in Houston!!

The salon itself is clean, discreet, ringing the door bell is a good policy, super professional etc. And they do not push products on you but they are there if you would like to purchase, which is great. A friend recommended me here and I am glad she did! I will be back. For a first timer, I definitely recommend this place, and then you will see yourself more than likely returning.

My waxing experience was better than I could of imagine. Yes, of course it was uncomfortable especially since it was my first brazilian, but Isabella was quite gentle with me. I would recommend her to others if you are getting the same service. I will definitely come back again in future from them to do my waxing.

I finally decided to bite the bullet, and I can't believe I waited so long! Everyone at Helena's was so friendly and professional. As soon as the waxing started, Laura put me completely at ease - and the results are amazing. I will be a loyal customer for a long time.

First, Im a very shy person. I have hesitated to have this done because of the ""pain"". But for it being my first experience, the employees made me feel really comfortable even tho I was extremely nervous. It does hurt a bit (even after the numbing cream), but the results are wonderful. My aesthecian, Christina, put me at ease immediately after I entered the room. She was gentle and patient with respect to being my first time doing the Brazilian wax. If you've had any type of waxing done, this was a piece of cake. Not at all what I was dreading!!!

I have never had a true, full Brazilian Wax until I had mine done in March of 2009. What I can tell you is WOW!! I was so pleased with the outcome and the service was excellent! It is not the most comfortable procedure to receive nor is it the most comfortable position to be in, but the ""waxer"" was very purposeful in assuring that I was comfortable and that the procedure was a painless as it could be (under the circumstances).

I highly recommend Helena's for personal body waxing services. In the future, I will be trying other services that they offer. I am certainly returing for the maintenance of my waxing.

I had my first brazilian wax done about a month ago and I am so pleased with the results. I was very scared thinking it would hurt and be very uncomfortable...those feelings all went away shortly after arriving at Helena's. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable...they provided information and products you can purchase to apply at home. The whole experience was wonderful they really know how to make you feel comfortable and put you at ease in a situation that doesn't necessarily sound appealing. Shanna did a wonderful job, I'm returning very soon for my follow-up! :)

I am one of those people that is very shy when it comes to brazilian waxing! I went once back home (Canada) and didn't have the greatest experience and said I would never go back. I searched online for a great place in Houston, just out of curiosity. I came across this website and read all the comments about how clean they are and very friendly. I decided to go in, I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say it was the most comforable setting possible, the staff is super friendly, and make you feel very very very at ease. I watched to see if they were as clean as everyone commented, and was very happy to see that they really are SUPER CLEAN....no exaggeration! This is a great place to go if you are picky about cleanliness and feeling comfortable, as I am. I recommend this place to all my friends, and they too were very happy with Helena's. :)

I am new to Houston from LA and was dreading the process of researching and finding a new place to have my brazilian wax done. I came across Helena's just by doing a quick google search on line..and was brave and took a chance of just showing up (without an appointment) on Saturday morning. I was pleasantly suprised by the cleaniess of the Spa Lobby and was greeted friendly upon entering.
