I love the ladies who work at Dr. Willock's office. His hygenist is great. The office has a great atmosphere and you get to watch beautiful, calming videos of Hawaii, Alaska & more. My teeth always look beautiful thanks to Dr. Willock and his team

11 years ago Dr.Willock become my dentist after a referral from a friend in Chapel Hill. I drive 3 hours each way and the time & miles have been worth it!
Recently I remarried and my husband has insisted that I go to "his dentist" who is one of the most respected in our city. To please my husband, I went to his dentist for my 6 month cleaning. The dentist daughter, who is also a dentist, cleaned my teeth that day. Within the first 5 minutes of the cleaning, she stopped and said, "I don't know who has been doing your crowns and restorative work, but it is rare for us to see this quality of work, it is beautiful." Two more times during the cleaning she stopped to remark about the beauty and quality of the dentistry in my mouth.
Needless to say, I was thrilled to be reassured that I had wisely chosen my dentist, Dr. Willock. As a patient, there was no way that I could tell "beautiful crowns-quality crowns", I just had to trust the dentist was giving me good quality. I knew that I had never had the first problem during treatment or after.
Yes, I will continue to drive the 3 hours each way for all my dental treatment. I have always known Dr. Willock was a perfectionist but he is also so very gently and caring.

I went to Dr. Willock on the recommendation of two of my professors. He is a wonderful and compassionate dentist. He was always punctual, and had excellent chair-side manner- he always explained what he was doing and why. Plus, his office is right next to the mall. You can't go wrong!

You get what you pay for and more with this wonderful dental office. Dr. Willock is a wonderfully skilled dentist who performs top notch work with state of the art instruments. His hygienist is more like a therapist - so pleasant, so caring, and so good at her job. It is a relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. I know a pay a tiny bit more for this dentist, and as a married grad student every penny counts, but teeth are for life and this guy - he will take care of your teeth!
Pros: Fantastic hygienist and front office staff
Cons: A teeny bit expensive
