I went to this place for celebrate my best friend's birthday. It's my first time to have party here, and I love it. The food is great, and staffs are friendly. My birthday is coming in two weeks, and I can?t wait to go to Moran's Again!!!

I went to Morans with my boy friend last week and we are really surprise of everything that Moran?s offer. This place provides warm and relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and awesome service. I cannot wait to go back AGAIN!!!

Honestly, I think I am addicted to Moran's. I go to this spot almost 3 times a week. I love this spot, the food, atmosphere, services, and decoration seems perfect matches with my taste. I love Moran's

I always stop by this place every time when I was in city. Absolutely gorgeous place to have nice dinner with friends. Well if you really like to enjoy delicious fodd, then defintely moran?s is the best spot.

Moran's is always the place that I have no clue why I keep going back . This is the spots where you can really have a good time with friends while enjoying food and beer just to chill out.

I agree with the other reviews. Homely atmosphere, take your time eating no one will rush you, and super, super friendly staff people. I know it?s nothing fancy, but I really enjoyed my sandwich and beer. It?s the exact sort of thing I like and I felt relaxed afterwards.

I really enjoy my time in Moran's. I go to Moran?s almost every weekend. Moran?s is absolutely the best place to go to get a beer and watch the game, Moran?s is one of my favorite spot in the City

I really love this place, the atmosphere and environment of Moran's really relief my pressure from work. I usually go to Moran's 3 days a week, and I love to bring my friends to there, and enjoy our party.

I went to dinner there with my wife last Friday and had the best experience one can get in NYC. The food was so delicious, yet at a rather fair price. Service was excellent and the waiter made sure to always be available.

im craving morans as we speak. the food and the drinks really are all you could need. shepards pie IS really gooood. definitely a great place to try if you're looking for agood time.

Moran's is all I need after work. A beer and some potato skins or shepphards pie. I've gone on a few casual dates there and definitely just gone with my friends as well. A great place to eat and drink!

Good service is one of the most important things to me when I go to a restaurant. I love going into a restaurant and having everything done and brought to me without even asking. At Moran?s I was checked on and waited on with such care, not to mention that the food was SUPERB!! Try their French dip or steak sandwich but definitely the place to go if you like a nice relaxing dinner.

First time I tried Sheppard?s pie and it looks like I?ll be back for seconds. The service was excellent and the bartender was really cool.

Moran?s is definitely a great place to check out in Manhattan! The food is really good and the atmosphere is comfy and relaxing. It?s not loud?you don?t have to scream at your friends to be heard. If you?re ever downtown, check it out!

I've been here for lunch twice and it has always been phenomenal. I got the exact same things both times, which I usually never do since I like to try new dishes, but it was just too good not to get again!

I've been going to Moran's for over 10 years. If I'm with clients for lunch or with friends for a beer after work the food is always very good, the atmosphere friendly and comfortable, and the staff always looking to make you feel at home. I think it's one of the best places in lower Manhattan.

A lively scene but not so loud to prevent conversation. Calamari with peppers was a pleasantly interesting twist for an appetizer. I found the main courses to be ok, not great. I enjoyed the sides (steak fries and portobellos) more than the mains (swordfish and a rich lobster/baked cod combo). The service was far more pleasant and attentive than prior reviews led me to expect. A nice experience, but it didn't ... me away.

I visited this place a couple of times this month. The first time with my parents and the second time with 3 friends. I sampled the food trying to catch that special flavor that could justify the hype ... but we all agreed that the food is ok. he same you can get almost everywhere that serve similar menues.....The service was rushed and unfriendly.

I have been going to bars my whole life with my family owning two. I tend to judge all
bars on three aspects; food, price, and atmosphere. Now when grading Morans I gave
all three an A+. The food was terrific, the happy hour will keep the wallet somewhat
heavy, and the bartenders made great conversations during the Giants game Thursday night.
An overall fun place to go and have a cold beer!!

I am used to visiting the same places all the time. But I can tell you that here, I had a lot of fun and the food is just great. I?ll definitely keep coming here as the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy.

This place is really nice, but i don't like the exterior of the restaurant...it seems to be a tad old. The food is really good . I would recommend it to anyone, just make sure to bring someone along!

This place truly amazes me. Probably under the most duress possible ,location wise, this place consistently puts out the juiciest, most tender and flavorful burgers I''ve ever tasted. Love those fresh steel cut fries. The girls really know how to serve it up right, no attitude here, just great friendly service. Morans keeps me coming back.

We were regulars at the restaurant long before my daughter had her wedding reception here. The food (especially the Prime Rib) and the drinks (especially the Martini's) are always perfect and the server's never seem to have a bad day. Since my daughter's wedding, two of her friends followed by having their receptions here also. The food tasting experience you get to have before you pick your wedding menu is the best in all of NYC.

LOVED IT!!! I held my birthday dinner at this restaurant and they were so nice! We managed to have the whole floor to ourselves that night. Our waitress, Laura was really nice and attentive to us. It's a nice and cozy place. The service was fast. The food is okay. I would definitely come back here!!!

We also had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Moran's for 75-80 people back in November. It was fantastic. The people (Jennifer especially) were incredibly accomodating, the food was stellar, and their beer selection was excellent. If you are planning an event, they have the whole process so streamlined that it's a joy to plan with them. Everyone enjoyed the night, we'd absolutely do an event there again.

Recently, we hosted a wedding-rehearsal dinner for 25 in the upstairs dining room. Very cozy, with fireplace, but the room can hold well over 100. Events coordinator Jennifer Lynch was extremely attentive to our wishes and a pleasure to work with.

We served a choice of fillet of beef and salmon en croute. Both were excellent, as was the New York -style cheese cake and chocolate mousse pie. Wine, beer and spirits were offered throughout the evening.

Although we got started late, due to a horrible rain and wind storm, the staff welcomed us warmly and served with a smile, even when we wrapped up later than the scheduled time.

Since the wedding ceremony and reception were nearby, in the Battery Park area, the mood of Moran's provided an appropriate prelude to what was a true New York City event. The downstairs bar was lively, but not rowdy -- emanating the feel of an Irish or English pub. Whether you stage an event upstairs, or stop in for a drink or meal in the downstairs bar area, you'll be well satisfied.

Moran's offers such a warm and relaxed atmosphere, the food is excellent and the staff is great! We had our wedding reception there and it couldn't have been more perfect, from the delicious crab stuffed shrimp to the friendly Irish staff. Our guests are still raving about it 6 months later! The prices are also very affordable, especially if you are looking to book a private party, I highly recommend them!

This a jewel among jewels. We had the fries, each with a big glass of beer in front of the cozy fireplace. We drank it slowly and were never intruded upon by the waitress, although she was handy nearby. y husband had a sumptuous, generous portion of broiled salmon with sauteed spinach(we both loved it). I l had the petite filet mignon on a bed of mashed potatoes. It was the best I have had in years and OH those yummy potatoes. The coffee was fullbodied and tasty, not like the dishwater served at many of the fancy eateries. The raspberry, almond tart was a fine treat to end my birthday dinner. Go and give it a try. Parking on the street is easy after 7PM. That an pleasure all in itself.

I went to Morans with my husband last week and what a find. Its like a hidden treasure. The interior is old style, elegant dark wood with the front kept in its original state of when it was a chapel. The staff were so nice, its as if they really like working there. The food as even better try the salmon welington!! Its definately worth a visit and I cannot believe I am the first to write a review about it!!!
