Roof Toppers-Roofing's Project Manager, Rafael Rojas was very professional not only in responding to my request for a roof inspection but also very honest in his appraisal compared to other roofing companies I encountered.

Just like "tud" and "Iketimized," I had a similar experience with Roof Toppers after reading rave reviews. Just before Ike, we had received an estimate but after the storm, the communication from them disappeared. I had requested multiple times to try and schedule something but was not contacted again after leaving many messages. For some reason, I was compelled to give them another try this summer since we ended up not replacing the roof, just patching it. The lack of returned calls is incredible- i have now left 2 messages to have the revised estimate sent to me which was supposedly going to be ready a couple of days ago.

Perhaps these guys are so busy, they don't need/want the extra business. RF really needs to work on their communication/professionalism - at this point, even if their bid is lower, I may not go with them.

We recently had our roof replaced after damage from Ike. We had quite a bit of difficulty with our insurance company, but Roof Toppers worked with our adjuster to make sure we were taken care of. Our new roof looks great and they took a great deal of care in cleaning up afterwards. Would definitely refer them to anyone looking for a good roofing company.

I recently had a pretty much similar experience as tud described in his/her review. I call them for inspection and someone (Rafael?) showed up. He inspected my house and suggested a couple of options. Then I called them several times for a written quotes so that I could initiate the job. They never replied to my repeated calls. I don't quite understand their it. It seems what they are doing is wasting their and our time without a clear reason.

I called Roof Toppers based on the excellent reviews on this site and other sites. My initial call was answered pleasantly and I was given a fast appointment to inspect the problems with my roof. Later in the day of the appointment, after not being contacted, I called the office and was told apologetically that due to a computer problem they lost my information. I can understand that can happen, no problem.
I rescheduled and Rafael inspected my roof on a Saturday morning, he was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable - showed and discussed the problems and told me he would email me a quote that same afternoon. So far so good, but...
I did not receive anything that Saturday or Monday morning, so I called Monday afternoon and left a message. No one got back to me, so on Tuesday I called and talked to Rafael who said he would send me the quote that afternoon. I have not heard from them. On Thursday I called the office and was told Rafael is out of town, and no one else can help me, "we're sorry". It's been a week and a half, and after I left a few more voice mails no one got back to me.
If this is their typical level of professionalism, then I would not recommend doing business with them.

Pros: Good initial response and inspection.

Cons: Never provided a quote or returned my calls.

I called Roof Toppers last Summer, I had two leaks in an upstairs room, and they were on-time and fixed it the first time. Never leaked again even after hurricane Ike turner my neighbor hood into Blue Tarp Central. Call them- you won't regret it. Katy Tx Mike

We called Roof Toppers after Hurricane Ike ripped about half our roof off. It took a couple of days for us to hear back from them (which under the circumstances is understandable) but when we finally did they were extremely helpful. Very friendly and professional service and we greatly appreciated them meeting with our adjuster. We're very pleased with our new roof and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good roofing contractor.

Prior to contacting Roof Toppers, I had THREE other roofing companies work on my roof. NOT ONE of those companies was able to accurately identify the cause of my leaks and/or how to stop the water from coming in. A friend then referred me to Roof Toppers. I was very skeptical at first, because of the once-bitten-twice-shy phenomenon. However, I was bowled over, not only by the professionalism of everyone at Roof Toppers whom I met, but also by the quality of their work and the reasonable price that Roof Toppers charged me for actually FIXING my roof problems. Rafael was delightful to work with and made sure, through repeated follow-ups after his work was completed, that I was satisfied with the work done. I wish more people ran their businesses like Roof Toppers. People in the construction and repair businesses are notorious for taking your money, putting just any laborer on the job, and most could really care less about the quality of their work. Roof Toppers bucks that trend and I am SO delighted to have come across them. They have a customer in me for life and I would be glad to talk to anyone who would like to contact me about the work that Roof Toppers did for me. Thank you, over and over again Roof Toppers.

I'm not a review-writing kind of guy but I just had to share my experience with this roofing company, since we actually found them here on City Search. Our house had the original roof (from 1990) on it and it was time to replace it. We called several different roofing contractors and were told by all that we needed to have our roof replaced. The estimates we received ranged all the way from $3,500 to $9,000. We couldn't understand the huge difference in the prices and decided to research each of the companies. We couldn't find any info at all on a couple of them and some less than positive info on some others. We chose Roof Toppers because their price was fair and they seemed to have a good track record and references. We could not be more pleased with our decision. The owner was professional and delivered on all his promises. The crew was punctual and took great care to insure the work was done correctly and all the mess was cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend this roofing company to anyone and am glad that we found them.

The owner came out to fix a leaking skylight the day before server rain and did a great job. I highly recommend Roof Toppers.

After 20 years in my house, the roof had finally had it. I called Roof Toppers and asked them their advice on a new roof. After all those years, there were many new features that were available. Roof Toppers advised me on all my choices, gave me a great price and completed a fairly large roof in just two days. They carefully cleaned up after themselves and were always anxious to please.

I'm very pleased: Highly Recommended!

Pros: Someone in charge was constantly on site to oversee the work and answer my questions.

After calling 4 different roofing companies for a repair, I finally found these guys. They came out and gave me a price within one day and were back out to complete the repair the following day.

We called 5 different roofing companies for estimates for one of our rental houses. These guys were not the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive. We went with them because the guy seemed to know what he was talking about and was honest. We also checked out their record with the BBB and it was good. It was a good choice on our part. They did a great job and our new roof looks great. We will use them again.
