I went to Alexandra for a chemical peel treatment and it was amazing. My pores are cleaner and smaller and my skin looks clearer and brighter. I love it. She was very knowledgeable and would take the time to answer any questions. Plus, I felt refreshed every time I left because it was so relaxing, I would take an hour nap everytime I was there. I highly recommend seeing Alexandra.

alexandra set the standard for brazillian waxing for me before I moved from the bay area to new york city. i've searched up and down manhattan (and brooklyn) and have not found any a better treatment than alexandra's. alexandra is thorough yet gentle, personable yet professional. she uses best wax at the right temperature--other places use stuff that not only irritated my not-so-sensitive skin, but failed to leave the same supple softness of what alexandra uses. i've already booked my next appointment for when i back in the bay area for xmas time. east or west, alexandra is best!

I have been going to Advance Skin Care Clinic since when I was 16 and have always LOVED the results of its treatment. The clinic is very comfortable and the rooms are super relaxing. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is becuase the scheduling/answering service is not good. i don't remember it being like this when I in first time, but they must have improved the schedulers becuase when you call to make an appoinment, it's like you are speaking to someone in another country. I really think that they really improved the scheduling service, but other than their negative points, everything else about the clinic is FABULOUS!

I love Alexandra's facial! She is not just great, but fantastic. Now she started to give new Oxygen Treatment. I highly recommend it! After 15 minutes of treatment you look 10 years younger. I am serious. I also did not believe at the beginning and was very skeptical. But after the treatment I looked into mirror and did not recognize myself - my chin line was firm , my pores disappeared. She is my beautician for the last 6 years and I will never change her, although it takes me a long time to get to downtown San Francisco from East Bay. I already recommended her to all my girlfriends and each of them loved it and thanked me for her.

I've known Alexandra for the last ten years. My best friend recommended her and I have not had a better facial from anyone else. She is very thorough, professional and knowledgeable! Alexandra really takes time to care for my skin and provides an overall excellent service! She is one of the best kept secrets!

Alex is great!!! I?ve had skin problems since I was a teenager. I was always kind of scared to go see esthetician thinking that if something goes wrong my skin will get more problems. I do have oily skin, blemishes, black heads, and so on. Not the worst case ever, but having skin problems never is fun. So I looked online and found Alex. Didn?t know much about her just took my chances and have no regrets about it. First visit I had a clinical facial and Alex suggested to try Chemical Peel (the mildest of them all series of 6). To be honest, I never even heard about chemical peels before and that made me kind of afraid and hesitant. Well it all forth the money and time and Alex is a great professional, does such an AMAZING JOB!!! All the skin products she uses are just the Best!!! I get compliments on my skin from my friends and I just feel so great know looking in the mirror and seeing Healthier, Radiant and Calm skin! It?s hard to find exactly what you?re looking for, but I think Alex is just IT! Convenient office hours and location, never rushes and does everything as she thinks is the best and listened to your needs.

She doesn't accept credit card, but checks and cash are fine, so it does forth everything!:)

I went to Alexandra after reading great reviews about her skills. I was not disappointed! She took extra time to address my skin problems, recommended right procedures and suggested skin products that in fact has been working for me since. I am going back and I look forward to it.

I was new to the city and was used to my previous waxer in LA, and was a bit hesitant to find someone new. Alexandra not only was more skilled, but more professional and accommodating. She is very detailed oriented and never makes me feel uncomfortable (ladies, we all know sometimes how we feel about these experiences...) and always gives helpful advice. I hightly reccomend her for waxings. For the service alone, it is well worth the experience.

Madame Dubinsky provides custom ordered facials. Definitely more clinical than spa, her treatments are meant to show results and she is tenacious about getting your complexion to look its best. Her soothing products are from Europe and she takes a tremendous amount of time and care in researching and explaining her methods to achieve great looking skin. She also delivers smooth and relatively painless waxing.

I did a lot of research on the internet about waxing services around SF. I saw this business, read the reviews, and decided to go. Her customers are right! I have never felt so comfortable without half my clothes on in front of a stranger! Alexandra did a wonderful job during my half bikini, halk brazilian waxing. (To keep what I wanted and not the rest in the places I didn't) I am not sore and not bruised as has so often happened to me before. I have very sensitive skin. And the best thing is I look fantastic and feel great! I highly recommend her. The office may be in a tiny room with no frills. But I would trade any frill, no matter what, for her expert, comfortable, friendly service anytime. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Alexandra is amazing! She is highly trained, provides very personal service, and is an utter professional. Not only does she make you feel very comfortable, but she gets results! I just completed six sessions of her ultrasonic facial and I can hardly believe the results. It is really a non-surgical facial. My skin is lighter, brighter, more elastic and youthful. The results are incredible and I feel wonderful. I appreciate her knowledge, her care, and her dedication to her field. She is a find and I am now a regular.

Alexandra's got the experience. I was a little nervous, but the moment she started talking I was completely comfortable with her. COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE and it certainly is something you think would be hard to do half-naked. I'm not even this comfortable with my doctor. She is very friendly and is sure to talk you through the procedure, letting you know what she is using and what she is doing and why. I'm so glad to have decided to go to her for my first brazilian wax. I'm excited to go back for a facial. I can definitely see myself as a regular.

When I first walked in to see Alexandra I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of the place.

I have been to too many facial treatments that had no effect on my skin. Alexandra quickly reassured me with her knowledge of the skin and her careful level of service. For example, the products she used were carefully selected from overseas and worked like a charm. You felt like it worked and the effects showed on the acne treatments. Alexandra is also very flexible on timing, scheduling and product purchases.

For the amount of expert knowledge she posseses and the fair prices she charges for her services, this place is truly an amazing find. The only reason I am writing this review, after almost a year of being a loyal customer is because Alex asked me to. I would otherwise keep this secret to myself.

Pros: Excellent service, price, real knowledge of the skin, sense of customer service

If you come to Alexandra, she'll take care not only of your skin, but also of your tired sole!
Whatever you need, just a quick lift or a full care, she'll do an amazing service for much cheaper price than those hungry-for-your-money saloons in downtown of SF! Hardworking woman from Russia with cute accent and siberian stamina, she'll make you look fresh and soothe your sole with her motherly touch... Oops, forgot to mention, she is using quite sofisticated treatments and equipment, but who cares... result is superb!

Alexandra really did save my life! Her excellent wax for legs and bikini stopped all the irritation I had due to shaving. In addition, her facials allowed my skin to breathe and be acne free. She always picks the products that are right just for my skin. Her advice on how to maintain a healthy diet also allowed me to change to a healthier way to eat, which helped out my skin a lot! I go to her on a regular basis and truly enjoy her services! If you want to feel brand new, I highly recommend you go see Alexandra!

I have been a client for Alexandra for the past 6 years. I look 15 years younger due to her efforts. She is highly trained and gives customized treatments depending on your skin type, the season, changes in your health, etc. I highly recommend her and her skills but also, the cost is reasonable for the services she provides.

I am Alexandras customer for more than 6 years. I moved from SF to East Bay and was trying to find a salon where I can get the same service for the same money. No chance. I am back to Alexandra and very happy. Her work as well as her prices is simply excellent. I suggested this salon to a couple of my friends and co-workers; they were very satisfied with everything Alexandra does. If you are looking for beautiful skin and affordable prices, this is a place. I've been going to Alexandra for about 6 years now. I had problem skin all my life and she really helped me! My favorite part is that she hand picks skin products that are the best for *your* skin. I would not trust my skin to anyone else. She does a great job waxing too. I tried other waxing salons that were closer to my work since I work on the peninsula, but I keep coming back to Alexandra, simply because she is the best. Also, she works on nights and weekends, which is very convinient!

Ive been going to Alexandra for about 7 years and quite frankly, dont think Ill be able to trust my skin and body to any other beautician! She fixed my eyebrows I used to pluck them too much and had horrible black dots - now my eyebrows are ideal! My main fear always was redness after waxing. After visit to Alexandra I can go to party and nobody will ever guess I just waxed my brows. Speaking of parties, whenever I need to look my best, Alexandra can do miracles! She can fix dull complexion, pimples, dark circles and even wrinkles will virtually disappear, your face will be glowing for days and it wont break your valet! Alexandra tought me how to care for my skin on everyday basis - I love my skin! I highly recommend this outstanding salon for your all skin care needs!

I have been a client in Alexandra's salon since autumn 1999. She does an excellent job with full body waxing! She uses special high quality wax that causes no irritation that I have not seen in any other salons. Alexandra's eyebrow arch can be rightfully considered a work of art! She is very caring in what she does and her salon is always relaxing and welcoming. After some shopping around I realized that Advanced Skin Care Clinic is the best place for my waxing needs and I definitely recommend it.

Alexandra has kept my skin clear and bright nearly ten years. I had terrible acne all through my teens, that barey let up in my twenties. I met her when I was 26 after years of trying different product lines from other esthetician/salons. Most of those places were more interested in selling me expensive skincare kits, and the facial procedures were quite painful, not relaxing at all!
Alexandra definetely has a healing touch, she can figure out what is causing skin problems and suggest natural/diet related ways to combat the problem than just attacking your face with products and services.
She has a whole body approach to skin care, incorporating aromatherapy, massage, and special treatments to target specific concerns like wrinkles or a flabby neck. Her salon is very clean, quiet and relaxing. I often feel more rested after a session with her than I when I've returned from vacation.

I have been going to Aleksandra Skincare Salon for over 5 years. Aleksandra knows exactly how to fix what needs fixing". Month ago I finished the treatment with Aleksandra and my skin looks and feels amazing. Plus it was in a relaxing, clean and professional environment.She never try to "push" a bunch of products on me that I didn't need and she ttied to make a treatment as cost-effective as possible for my condition.Whenever I enter her salon, I am immediately soothed by her stylish, intimate room and wonderfully relaxing music. She has a wonderful taste also. Definitely one of the best facials in the city and I recommend it to everyone

I have been going to Alexandra for a 4 years. She has the hands of God, I swear, she is THE BEST FACIALIST in San Francisco!!!
I trusted her with my skin right away, she is very professional and experienced. I had acne problems and never thought my skin would look this good, but it does now. I used to go to a dermatologist, buy different products from the TV, but Alexandra's extractions seemed much more effective. She is a lot of fun to talk to and keeps you informed each step of the way! I can see and feel results right away. She remembers you, your skin, and your needs, and every treatment gets better and better, if that's possible. I cannot give her high enough recommendations, try her and you will agree!
