I was not overly impressed. I heard many great reviews about this salon but I cam out rather disappointed. The owner was not overly friendly at all she barely even nodded when I made a comment about something. Also I went to the salon wanting a dramatic change. When I walked out I had the same coloring and the same hair style except a little shorter yet I paid almost $350! When I mentioned it she just replied that I would have to come back.. Yeah okay why would I go back when I just paid $350 for nothing. The prices are ridiculous

I left the Van Michael Salon in Buckhead and have been going to fresche for several months. I can't say enough good things about the salon, the staff and the surrounding Grant Park neighborhood. The relaxed atmosphere of the boutique salon creates a welcoming environment that you don't get with the larger, fast-paced salons in Buckhead. The new owner is wonderful with the customers and the entire team of stylists are exceptional. Specifically, Mimi and DJ are amazingly creative and take great pride in their work. So if you are looking for Buckhead talent and quality without the Buckhead hustle and bustle go get a "fresche" new look from fresche.

I have been going to Lauren since early Fall, and I have been extremely pleased with how my hair looks and feels after every visit. Lauren takes the time to make sure that you are getting what you want for your color and style. I came to her after having a horrible cut. She not only fixed the layer distaster, but did a fabulous highlighting job. I reccomend her to all of my friends and family - and to you!

I've been going to fresche probably a lot longer than the average client. The person below is probably a bit dillusional. "Kevin" is really Kyle, and Abby didn't want to do hair. I've been to them too. Other than the fact that the person below is promoting another salon, there is no purpose to the review. The owner, Joi, has a great team working with her and they all take pride in their work. They show that through the amazing, new, and consistently great work they learn and master. Lauren who apprenticed under Joi for 2 years is now doing hair and is great at it! So for others, go in this salon, and enjoy the atmosphere, people, and leave feeling fresche. You'll love it!

I've been to Fresche several times and, due to a high turnover, I was always having to use a different stylist. Kevin and Abby were great but I tried a new one last time and she was terrible. Her personality was wonderful but her skills were severely lacking. After I got home, washed and combed out my hair, my boyfriend pointed out that my hair was longer on the left side than the right - by more than an inch! $60, a 30-minute wait, and 90 minutes of styling time for a lopsided hair cut? I will never return, I now use Barrons and am REALLY happy with David!

I have been going to fresche on a regular basis for about 5 years and have great experiences to rave about! First off, I am particular about my hairtranslation
hard to please in a hair salon. I have a Japanese straightner put in my hair annually, and
I have Color and cuts in between. The best is that I am always complimented on
My natural color. One great thing about Joi is that she believes in training
and keeping up with the latest technology. She travels globally to keep abreast
of all the latest trends, attending hair shows and competitions. I love that
my hair is in such great condition even after coloring and straighenting it. Also, there are several experienced stylist in varying price ranges to choose from. its great to be able to
just get a style for the weekend at a reasonable price. The salon is well managed making
it a professional yet fun environment. I love my hairthank you Fresche.

I love this place! That is about the only way to start out. Yes, I know it's just a hair salon but the stylist know what they're doing. I went into Fresche wanting something different. That's exactly what I got! I was so pleased when I left I wish I had somewhere to go but home. D.J. is an amazing woman. She is definitely talented and I love the fact that she is detailed. It's awesome to have someone who takes pride in their work and doesn't rush you out the door! So really all I can say is THANK YOU!

Joi is a perfectionist. She takes time to listen to what you are wanting, and then gives you feedback about what will make a style work - or not. It is refreshing to have someone be honest - after all, not all hairstyles work on all face shapes, or hair types. Since I am a girl who likes to change hairstyles and colors frequently - her listening ear, and her expertise are a tremendous value to me.

After 2 years of Fresche patronage, I recently went to another intown salon. I walked out looking great, but as soon as I washed my hair, I could tell the cut wasn't good. I strayed, and learned my lesson. Only Fresche for me!

Just try not to be the last person of the day, you will be rushed! I came into the salon for my first visit and was asked to prepay for my hair before I had even met my stylist. I also had to pre-tip on a service that I didn't know if I would like! From what I gathered, the receptionist wanted to leave early and I was forced to pay almost 200 dollars for a color and cut by a strange stylist. The music was even cut off and a few lights turned off. I felt that the money spent was not worth the customer service!!

I am sorry that I can not leave a wonderful review but I was dissapointed when I bought some shampoo and conditioner from the salon at a fairly expensive price. After getting home and using the product, the pump stopped working in the shampoo bottle. I took it back to my stylist who told the owner my problem and the owners reply was that she would have to call the manufacturer to see if that has ever happened to them before and she would also see what the manufacturer would do about it. What if you took something back to Target and they told you that. I just thought it was extremely unprofessional on the owners part. My stylist tried to do everything that they could do but the owner was the one to make the final decision. I WILL NOT buy anything from the salon again.

Watch out Atlanta, your city just got a little better. Djay blows into town and blows out the competition. This is especially relevant for African-American patrons or those with curlier hair. Not to pigeon-hole her. She is a Sebastian-expert stylist, which means she goes around the country dolling up hair and make-up models for fashion shows. With that said, she can do the straightest hair to the kinkiest.

Djay gives the best relaxer all the while managing to condition and hydrate your hair as not to leave it or your scalp dry. She is a color expert, so be ready for levels that can't be repeated elsewhere! She will counsel you on your own routine for healthier hair.

Her cuts are absolutely fabulous. She knows about the shapes and techniques that will best compliment your face contours and your hair texture.

I absolutely love her and I get compliments all the time - she is amazing! I just cant say enough great things about how she cuts and highlights my hair - she knows exactly what to do and it always looks great. She takes her time, she's really sweet and fun to talk to. I've tried several other salons in Atlanta and she is by far the best. She's so freakin awesome!

I wouldn't go there because they are a bunch of snobs, they think they are the best or something and give you an attitude. I showed up 20 min. late to my appointment due to traffic, when I finally got there, they sent me home. They said we'll have to make another appointment for you. I drove one hour to that place simply because of the CitySearch rating, had no idea that they are that rude and snobby.

I'm so upset with my results. I spent a lot of time researching for a great salon, and Fresche had such good reviews. It's too bad I can't write an equally good review for them. I ask for blonde highlights, and I got a reddish- brown- blonde mix. I feel like my hair looks the worst it ever has. Also, I asked for my hair to be trimmed, and they cut off 2 inches! I don't feel like they listened to what I ask for. I also can't believe it took them 3 1/2 hours to do my hair. I have never been at a salon for half the day. I learned from my experience that you can't always make a decision based on these reviews and that you don't always get what you pay for. I sure would like to have that $270.00 I spent back.

I am now in a quandry as I love both locations that is staffed with the stylists I have ever had the pleasure to experience. The new salon also has great products and great comfy atmoshere. Now I go to both. Highly recommend you check it out and if you are new to color and want to try something super genlte ask about color shines and DO try a treatment - they really do have lasting effects on the health of your hair - totally worth it.

I use to have pretty long reddish-brown hair. A few years ago I decided to go blonde. I did the Buckhead scene but it always resulted in a yellow or gold hue. I decided to do it at home instead. Long story short I had ended up burning it all off to well above my shoulders. I made an appointment with Karen to get extensions. I went in to get it colored first and she got it the exact color I have always wanted the very first try and the extensions are better than my real hair. I wish I would have found Fresche years ago! The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, the price is right and they deliver on their promises! Even if you are satisfied with your current stylist you should give them a try. I am more than satisfied, I am ecstatic.

We all want this...our stylist to be psycologist, best friend, and personal trend specialist wrap up into one package. This is what you will find with any of the stylist at fresche. Not only do they do the best hair in Atlanta (and I have travelled miles and miles to NY and LA to have this duplicated) but they at the same time have a very friendly atomosphere that says "Welcome Home". The minute you walk through the door you feel it and you know, this salon is special. The creative energy circles this unique space and you recognize....Beauty! That is what you see, that is what you come to know and that is what you WILL FEEL when you visit fresche. In Short...fresche=BEAUTY...and I look forward to every single visit and know that you will too.

I am a model and Kyle has been cutting my hair for almost four years. He is magnificent! I have done hair modeling as well and they never did as good of a job as Kyle has. His haircuts grow out so perfectly I don't have to come back for months. I also receive more compliments on his cuts and color than when I was a hair model. He listens to who you are and what you want and makes a whole new you. I highly recommend Kyle for cut and/or color. Make sure to check out his book, it is very helpful and I am in it too.

I've been traveling from Augusta, Ga. for apporximately 4 years for Kyle's professional service. His color technique is phenomenal. My hair is very difficult to manage and Kyle has shared how to duplicate his salon style at home. His backgroud education shows through his consultation and artistic skills to create individual style for my profession. THAKK YOU SO MUCH KYLE - YOU HAVE CHANGED MY TOTAL APPEARANCE AND I HAVE GAINED SO MUCH SELF ESTEEM.

I am very particular about my color stylist, because my hair is difficult to color, at least to my expectations. Luckily I met Kyle! I am a natural brunette-black who wants my hair to be blonde...without bleach. Sounds crazy, right??? Not to mention I want my hard to cover grays clearly hidden. Kyle is AMAZING and has met all my expectations and then some! He is a natural WIZ-KID with color, not to mention, he gives an incredible cut too!!!

Just came back from a cut & color with Kyle!! I think my husband is going to have to hide those mirrors because I can't stop looking at it! I am so pleased with the cut and color that there is no question that Kyle will be my regular stylist. He is talented and pleasant to talk to! What more could you want?

I have long, curly hair and have lost many, many inches due to horrible cuts. My last hairdresser retired three years ago and I have had bad hair since then. I almost left the salon today - before the cut - because I was so afraid of getting another hack job. But voila - my hair is fabulous! Joi did a great job, she listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. I took her advice on my bangs and I love them. I am so happy and so relieved to have found a new hairdresser!

I found freche on citysearch, read the reviews & decided to give them a try. My previous stylist move to CA and I've tried a lot of the Buckhead salons which are overpriced and frankly not as skilled as they try to portray to be. Joi was my stylist and did a great job! I have long hair & it is surprisingly hard to find a stylist who doesn't give you a hack job. Joi listened to what I was looking for and gave me a great cut!

I am a natural brunette and now I am the happpiest blonde:) Joi used all the right colors to blend a natural look and added color so the growing out of the brunette hair will not look so drastic and makes my follow-up appointments farther out. I went to fresche for my hair extensions. I had never had them before but always wanted to have longer thicker hair. After a thorough consultation with Karen about the process, I decided to also have her do my color. Not only was I amazed at how beautiful my hair color turned out, but the next week I went back for my extensions and my hair looks like a movie star! The salon was very warm, not intimidating at all, like I was getting my hair done in my friend's loft! I was very impressed with Karen and fresche.

I have NEVER had such perfect blonde color as I do now!!!! My natural color is brunette and I have struggled for years to get the right color. Since my skin tone looks awful if there is even the hint of brassiness or golden tones, and is very fragile and overprocessed to boot, I've had horrible luck in salons all along the east coast.

After not one but THREE "professional" haircoloring disasters in the past month alone, I heard about Fresche. Joi (the owner) is amazing, she truly understands the chemistry of blonde coloring and the tone for each individual client. She took so much time to listen to what I was looking for (I was admittedly a bit emotional and gun-shy given my recent hair history) and gave me the most perfect, beigy light blonde without even a hint of brassiness or unwanted warm/gold tones. PERFECT!!!!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Freshe and more specifically Sabrine Winters. In my 35 years I have never had a better haircut or color- I feel like a new woman! Sabrine transformed my hair and attitude, she is incredibly knowledgeable, talented not to mention a perfectionist. She knew exactly what I wanted & what my hair needed and delivered it at a price I thought was extremely reasonable. The Salon had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Thanks so much for such a great experience.

Joi totally gave my hair a "do over" with new color and style. I love it. My husband thinks it is great too! It was my first visit in May 05, but I plan to become a regular customer. She gave me the red that I was supposed to be born with...
It has been a couple of weeks and the color hasn't faded at all. The only problem that I anticipate is that they are booked up way in advance.

I just went to Fresche for the first time this weekend and I left completely satisfied (which is hard for me). I am extremely picky when it comes to haircolor and highlights, but Sabine did an exceptional job with my hair understanding exactly what I wanted. I left the salon with the exact hairstyle/color that I intended to get... I definitely recommend this salon, it is the only one in Atlanta that I have found that actually gave me the exact style that I wanted. Sabine is wonderful when it comes to haircolor, she really knows her stuff. Tell them Jarrin sent ya!

I have been to many salons in Atlanta, but this little tucked away gem is a great find. I loved everything about it, especially that I did not feel like I was in a big, loud salon being rushed through. Joi is the first stylist that actually took the time to listen to me, and make suggestions for something new. The results were better than my expectations. I left fresche with a new look, and one that I can duplicate myself! This is someone that is very passionate about what she does, and it shows. I am very happy, and will definitely recommend Joi to anyone who asks!

This salon is so nice, and the staff is incredible. The service is unique, I loved what Joi did to my hair, that's why I've been there twice. The only thing is that I find it a little bit pricey and (I don't know for sure) I think the don't charge the same thing to everyone for the same service. Oh well, still I recommend it a lot for someone new in town

I used Citysearch to find a salon close to my house that was highly recomended.I contaced Fresche and was please to be given an evening appointment - on very short notice and on a date that I requested. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff is WONDERFUL! I could not be happier!! I highly recomend Fresche!

I found this salon - after not having much luck at all in atlanta via city search. I have been traveling and getting everything done in Chicago. This place is fantastic head to toe. The staff is incredible, professional knowledgeable, and very inviting.

The atmosphere is great too. The most impressive part for me though was great service with great products. I can't wait to go back - Highly recommend even to savvy downtowners! Joi is terrific and has lead a strong team.

I just moved here and I DO NOT trust anyone with my hair. I looked for almost a month and decided to settle on Fresche based on the reviews. I will admit that I was scared. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. This place is amazing. A funky little salon with a quirky fun staff that are professional, skilled, and super nice. Lissette, the manager and suggested that I do something different with my color. I put my faith in her and she did me good. It was more than I wanted to pay, but considering what I got-it was worth every penny. I will surely be going back with anticipation and no fear. I would highly recommend this place!
