You can get a much better rate booking online for this upscale boutique hotel. It's located directly in the Inner Harbor in Boston and withing walking distance of many attractions and restaurants.

this hotel was pretty good. We had a discount coupon (which you can find online) It was a fabulous time a year, a bit chilly by the water. There was construction going on, so the noise volume was high. It was good, but without the coupon, I would probably find a better deal somewhere else. It was nice. If you don't particuluarly care, and only want location and clean, this hotel will be just fine.

I stayed here on business and I have only good things to say. I was impressed with the room, the service and the feeling of friendliness with staff and other patrons. I would look forward to staying here again.

My room was absolutely perfect especially the bed. It must have been the most comfortable and soft bed I have ever slept it! The staff was very knowledgable about the boston area. I heard them helping a tourist in town. They really knew their stuff when it came to history and fun destinations like downtown crossing.
PROS: great location
CONS: none

The hotel is beautiful. The staff here were truly wonderful--so helpful and polite. The lobby is gorgeous. The location is quite convenient. The staff are nice and polite. Take note that the staff here don't take tips. The decor wasn't too impressive, rather mediocre. Nice pool. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't very large.

This is a beautiful hotel located in the Seaport District. We had to take a cab or walk quite a distance to reach most of the tourist areas of Boston but there are some fantastic seafood restaurants next to the hotel that we would not have experienced otherwise. The hotel itself is just grand and the rooms are modern and luxurious. We enjoyed the gym as well as the pretty grounds. A bit pricey but worth experiencing. The staff were absolute five star, very professional and eager to please.
PROS: Beautiful hotel, great staff, nice gym
CONS: Not located right in the heart of Boston but still a short cab ride

When I first arrived, I went to check in and was told no rooms were available. I was told to check back in an hour. As I sat in the lobby, I noticed that other people were coming in and they were being checked in. After an hour of looking at this I went to a different employee. I explained that I tried to check in earlier and was told to check back. She asked, "Did she check you in?" When I said, "No." She and another employee looked at each other and shook their heads. She then apologized and asked for my ID and a credit card and she proceeded to check me in. She even requested a rush on a room and she informed me that should a room become available earlier, she would inform me. She then offered to bring me my room key when the room was ready. It took 15 minutes tops. I thanked her and went to my room.
Imagine my surprise when within 5 minutes security is knocking on my door. When I opened the door, security (she) looked me up and down and then asked if I needed help with my safe. Huh? What an incredible waste of manpower for security to go to every new guest within 5 minutes of their check in to ensure that they can lock a safe!
Apparently, my presence here is questionable. Well let me clear up the confusion; I am here at the invitation of the College Board to do a Webinar on teacher evaluation.
Oh, by the way, I am African-American. I am dressed appropriately so I am confused as to why I am worthy of extra scrutiny.
The Seaport Hotel has a sprawling, visually-pleasant lobby and is located across the street from the Seaport World Trade Center. The valet parking is $42/day and self parking is $32/day, however, none of the hotel staff are permitted to accept tips. The fitness center has a wide variety of equipment and its staff is accomodating and thoughtful. I'm very glad I chose this hotel.
Was visiting a friend who works at Fidelity right near the Seaport. I stayed at the Seaport and had a fantastic experience. The room was very clean, the view was AMAZING, and the food was perfect. I come to Boston often and can definitely say that this is my favorite hotel now. The price is right and the experience was enjoyable.
Pros: Amazing Views
Cons: Kind of far removed, but nice to be away
I recently attended a wedding here after moving from CT. The views were phenomenal! Food was fantastic!! Our hotel room was great too. All of the hotel staff greeted their customers warmly. we were upgraded to a room on the 16th floor with harbor views. All in and all a great hotel!
The hotel itself is pretty and in a good location and the staff was very nice as well. However, I was surprised that they charge $18 for the breakfast buffet. With how expensive the hotel is, I would expect at least continental breakfast. The rooms had all the latest technology but the decorations were very bland and not something you would expect from a high end hotel. Overall though, it wasnt so bad. I would probably choose a place that is closer to downtown if you plan on going out in boston.
Pros: Excellent staff, rooms fully stocked, pretty views
Cons: expensive drinks and over priced breakfast, ugly rooms
We went to the Aura restaurant prior to attending the Boston Pavilion concert. The had a preconcert fix price menu for $48 a person. The food was fine. The service was horrible. We were there for 2 hours and had to chase the waiter around the dinning room to get our check. we were late to the concert. I believe we were over charged for wine by the glass and a 20% tip was charged on the bill.
Over all not a pleasant experience and no value for the money. I would stay away.
I attended a wedding tonight and had a great time, as did all the guests. The ballroom is spacious elegant, and the service is great. The food is also quite good--we opened up with fish cake, then had a Caesar salad with just enough dressing, then came chicken on the range with a delicious sauce and mashed yams/potatoes, and finally the wedding cake.
My fiance surprised me on our anniversary with a weekend in Boston.
At best, our room was small, though clean but NOT what they represent on their website.
We spent about 1/2 hour in the room, trying to decide whether to stay or go. After realizing there was not even a cafe to grab a quick snack, we decided to leave.
I give this rating a 'not recommended' as opposed to a below avg, b/c of the attitude of the manager after we had amicably explained our situation. We were not expecting a 100% refund but CERTAINLY not the argument of "you are from the area, you should know better" He also claimed that our reason for leaving was bogus - all with a haughty attitude. I hope that sharing my experience will help the hotel reform their management or deter someone from wasting their time and patience.
Cons: rude manager, poor value for money, inconvenient locale
