Too Expensive

While this place has a good selection the quality and quantity do not compare well to the price. One of the most expensive breakfasts I've had was not all that tasty. The service is also poor because of the design of the restaurant itself. Do yourself a favor save a few bucks and pick up some eggs from the store and make yourself an omelet.

I've never eaten here, except for desserts, but their coffee is good and the people who work there are always friendly, even when it's super busy. The food looks good, though, but I do know it's pretty costly.

the good the bad and the crowded
by Saide
Waiting in the always-long line while being constantly bumped into by the door, wait staff and other guests is a very frusterating way to start the breakfast experience at this place. You are not aloud to sit until you have ordered, which is understandable, but then they need to have a larger space for the line. three of the 2 person tables are almost usless because of the bumping of the line. Also, I ask for the egg yolks on my eggs benedict to be poached soft (runny) every single time I go there and 3 out of 4 times my yolks are served to me hard. This is very frusterating because it is not enjoyable for me to eat eggs benedict with hard yolks. If a place is going to charge close to $10.00 for eggs benedict, then they should have chefs who can prepare it as requested. However, they have the most delicious holandaise sauce I've ever found, their breakfast potatos are perfect, and the chipotle aoli is great.
Pros: good potatos, yummy sauses
Cons: often fail to cook things as specified, uncomfortably crowded line

The only kind of beans I like are Jimmy's!
by cornypuff
The few times I've eaten at Jimmy Beans have ingrained themselves as some of my fondest food memories. Their excellent food, rustic and comfy atmosphere, along with the delicious smells combine to make a great breakfast/lunch spot for you and your favorite companions. Their tortilla egg dish, as simple as it is, is flavorful and hits the spot. It's not a place to eat when you're in a hurry, rather, take your time to eat and soak up the atmosphere. Prices are decent as well, so don't bad about ending the meal with something sweet.
Pros: filling portions, fresh food, parking

Fabulous Find!

Great place! The breakfast food is delicious. The corned beef hash combo is a good size, although you only get ONE piece of toast. The french toast is a smaller portion but is excellent. Be prepared to stand in line and order and then get a table (no seatsavers!) but it gives you a good opportunity to meet some new people.
