Upscale Casual Atmosphere
  • Private Parties and Catering
  • Outdoor Patio & Sunday Brunch
  • Late Night Dining

Tapas are believed to have originated more than a century ago in Andalucia, Spain, when bartenders placed humble saucers of bread, cheese and olives atop their customer's glasses. Today tapas is a style of eating: a culture that allows you to share, drink relax and eat what you like. At Humble Pie, a tapas bar, our portions are smaller than entrees but larger than humble. We serve nightly dinner and Sunday brunch. We also offer an extensive wine and beer list and service private parties. Catering is also available.

Yummy  5 Star Rating - World class

Went for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. They were short-staffed, it was exceptionally busy, and despite all that the service was great and the food was delicious.

Going back soon! 5 Star Rating - World class

My wife and I have always loved Humble Pie for brunch, so we decided to check it out for dinner last weekend. We took another couple and had a fantastic time. We shared wine, desserts, and at least 10 dishes. The saltimbocca and the mushroom napoleon were great. Our bill was very reasonable for the huge spread. Our waitress was attentive and answered all questions. We plan on going back for Valentine's Day!

Pros: great value for food and wine

Not a terrible restaurant but not a good deal for your money. 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I enjoy TAPAS style restaurants but stay away from the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. Unless you like paying $9 for 3 small pieces of shrimp (and nothing else with it).

The waiters were very good - the salad was good and the atmosphere was nice.

Pros: Waiters and staff
Cons: Very small portions - even for TAPAs

Fun place to have a great meal 5 Star Rating - World class

My husband and I have been to Humble Pie several times since it's been reopened as a tapas restaurant, and we've never been disappointed. We've even taken our baby there for Sunday brunch a couple of times, and we had a good experience every time (even though I see other reviewers say it's not a good place for kids... we haven't tried bringing our child there for dinner). My husband helped coordinate a reunion gathering back in their lounge, and they were very accommodating coming up with a variety of heavy appetizers to please the crowd. I also went before going to "A Christmas Carol" a few weeks ago, and I was surprised that there weren't more pre-theater diners there (the staff were very attentive to ensure we made it to the show on time). Love the crab cakes and the chicken saltimbocca in particular; the bread pudding is fantastic! Wine list is varied and very reasonably priced, too. In warmer weather, we like to eat outside. Only downside is that there isn't a designated parking area, but we've been pretty lucky finding parking on the street whenever we've gone.

Outstanding tapas with generous portion sizes. Funky atmosphere. 5 Star Rating - World class

I have been to Humble Pie four times now and never been disappointed. The only menu item we repeated is the shrimp and grits because my husband just loves the "broth of the gods" that comes with it... but other than that, we are working our way through the entire menu! The restaurant has a casual, relaxed atmosphere and is open LATE, which can be really nice in a town where many of the restaurants shut their kitchens at 10!
The portion sizes for the tapas are on the large side, so order a couple and see if you want more. Service is attentive but not overbearing, and quite interesting to look at (one waitress has pink hair and a giant butterfly tattoo on her chest).

Pros: food, ambience, service
Cons: parking

Fun dining experience! 5 Star Rating - World class

We dined at Humble Pie just this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Plenty of tapas to choose from, most were reasonably priced, and service was great! Only drawbacks were that their Tortilla Espanola is not a TRUE Tortilla Espanola and some tapas were a little too small to share. The other tapas we tried were excellent--try the black bean crepe or the chicken enchiladas--both were VERY good! I will visit again when in the tapas mood!

Pros: service, location, NOT A SMOKE-FILLED PLACE! :)
Cons: tortilla espanola
