Unfortunately, the Office Manager KAREN and DR. RIVKIN himself, are only kind and responsive if they know you have MONEY to spend. Otherwise, be prepared for a curt, rush job.

The rest of the girls are very polite and genuinely appreciative of the Business. Anyway, don't get your feelings hurt, if they don't treat you 'well.' Just GO SOMEWHERE ELSE if you want to be treated like your business is appreciated.

I just wanted to say that I am so so happy with my experience at Westside Medical Spa. I've always wanted to fix the tip of my nose but I noticed that nose jobs could actually make the front part of someone's face look worse than before, and to top it off there are so many risks with surgeries that it is best to avoid such invasive procedures as much as possible. That is why I was thrilled when I found out about Dr. Rivkins non-surgical nose job (after Oprah on a news show on abc in 2007). This is my second year going for the Radiesse nose injections and I am once again so excited about my results. I think my nose looks even better than the first time, and Ive been beyond satisfied since my very first time. Next time I will get the more permanent filling, Artefill, now that I know that this procedure really works for me and it makes my nose look exactly as I want it to look. Its also cool that Dr.Rivkin can add or take away filling, so youre not stuck with something you dont like. I dont even know how to express how grateful and enthusiastic I am about this wonderful procedure. Dr. Rivkin is definitely a godsend, he has changed my life for the better. This procedure has improved my confidence because I am not self-conscious about my profile anymore, I can talk to people without worrying that they might be distracted with my nose, which I feel was out of proportion to my face. Which is the other benefit, the injections actually make my nose look smaller. Seriously, it is truly amazing. It is one, if not THE best investment I have ever made. Perhaps the only drawback is the location of the clinic- traffic is almost always really bad so even though the procedure takes just a few minutes, you need to schedule in plenty of time to account for the traffic in the areabut it is well worth it ;-)

Cons: There's a lot of traffic in the area. The last 10 miles alone takes me like 30-45 minutes to complete, then again, that's LA so it's expected ;-P

Just after I had my first child I looked radiant. But by the time I had my third, I had become a tired, haggard housewife instead of the healthy supermom I used to be. I started to use the word botox and restylane more frequently in conversations with my husband. So for my anniversary he got me a gift certificate to see Dr. Rivkin in Westwood. I did some research on Dr. Rivkin and discovered he specializes in non-surgical nose jobs and face lifts. I was a little nervous when I went in because I thought he'd want to remodel my whole face. But when I saw him, he really put me at ease. He was a lot younger than I pictured and he was not condescending or overly clinical like other doctors I have seen. He explained things in terms that I could understand and went over the list of my possible options in detail. We decided to do some botox and go with a filler called evolence as opposed to restylane because it lasts longer and causes less bruising so my kids wouldn't ask what happened to mommy. I was actually surprised when Dr. Rivkin assured me that I didn't need anything else, he even complimented my skin texture and said it would be years until I needed to consider anything more drastic than botox and fillers. Just after I went in for my appointment I noticed the folds between my mouth and lips had softened and within two days my forehead had relaxed and I don't look worried or stressed even when my kids are wrecking the house. And my husband started telling me how great I look again!

I had a laser hair removal treatment and the nurse, Natalie, was extremely unfriendly and rude. I will not return.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a laser hair removal center ?

I am a spa junkie and I consider myself an expert in the latest beauty products, professional skin care, and cosmetic procedures. I was a former devotee of another cosmetic spa on Robertson but their constant staff turnover and product pushing got old fast. I went to Westside Aesthetics in search of a new, all-inclusive maintenance parlor that is in the West LA area. First off I have to say that their office staff is really great and relaxed and I didn't feel pressured to have an un-needed or pricey procedure done. I had the best deep clean facial ever by Malia, and a botox touch up given by the Doctor after. He gave my eyebrows a slight raise but I don't look like a frozen bat, or worse Nicole Kidman. I look really natural and even but not definitely over botoxed. I am going back for another facial next month with Malia and will make another appointment with the Doctor for a juvaderm to eliminate the light sleepiness under my eyes. I also tried their Westside Aesthetics all-over sunblock and it is so far the best product out there.

Pros: free 2 hour parking lot, next door to coffee bean, and whole foods across the street!
