Great song selection! 4 Star Rating - Very good

This place has all the songs that you are looking for! Drinks on the pricey side, but who cares when you are having fun with your friends. They also have specials during non-peak hours. Check it out. Highly recommended.

Pros: Great song selection.
Cons: Pricey drinks.

Not as bad as other reviews would have you believe! 4 Star Rating - Very good

I went here with a group of 7 friends despite reading all of the negative reviews shown here. I'm not sure if it was ridiculously high expectations that caused their negative experiences or what, but I certainly enjoyed myself! The citysearch review is actually wrong in saying that there is no alcohol served here, as there is a bar at the front with a huge karaoke screen, in addition to the private rooms. We were led to our room and asked for drink orders, although they didn't come check up on us to see if we needed any more drinks. There was a phone on the wall to call the bar but it was literally 15 feet from our room so we would just walk up to the bar instead. Our room wasn't huge but for a group of 7 it was more than sufficient. It wasn't dirty or covered in graffiti as other reviews described (maybe its a specific room?). There were two seperate song lists sorted by artist and title, and at the end of both were new, monthly lists of top singles. The karaoke equipment is not that hard to use if you aren't *ahem* challenged, you simply enter the number of the song you want and confirm. Didn't experience any rudeness from the employees, one of them actually stopped what he was doing to help me when I went to the bar to ask how much time we had used up already. Perhaps they don't treat you like you're at the Waldorf-Astoria, but then again this isn't the Waldorf-Astoria!! The only negative parts of the experience were that you have to keep track of how much time you are using yourself, and the drinks are a bit expensive ($6 Corona), though you can expect that in Manhattan...

I suppose only the people with negative experiences take the time to write reviews on here, so I decided I'd post that it isn't always the case!

Pros: Song list, location, room price
Cons: You have to keep track of time, drink prices

Unsatisfactory Accommodations 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

wow did this place not work well with me and my group of friends. the asain guy who worked the front with orange hair gave us such an attitude. in case any of you decide to go, tell him for me when you're leaving that his "apparatus" is small. he was so rude. for a group of 5 and he stuck us in a really worn room. walls covered with graffiti and white paint blocks that i'm guessing are some sort of pathetic attempts of trying to cover it up the older graffiti. did they really think we would not notice the white paint blocks on the ugly green walls. the seats were torn. the book of music selection smelled like someone spilled alcohol on it and then urinated on it. their music selection was good but it was not good enough that it would compel me to flip through their urine books again and suggest for anyone else to go flip through their urine books.

Pros: cheap price
Cons: cheap place

Rundown, Rude and Ridiculous 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

This is by far, the absolute worst karaoke bar I've ever been to. I went with a group of 6 friends and we were placed in a tiny, rundown room. The cushions were full of tears, in addition to peeling paint and grafitti on the walls. Management clearly can't regulate the temperature. It was so hot, we were forced to prop the door open. At least we were the only customers at the time. Song selection was pretty good, but their electronics are difficult to operate. When we asked the man at the front desk to explain how to use the equipment, he was irritable and standoffish. Bathrooms seemed to be recently renovated, yet appeared to suffer from poor maintenance. Give them a few months and they'll look like the rest of the place. Upon depature, the same rude man was annoyed at having to attend to us instead of watching his movie. He tried to use the fact that he couldn't speak English as an excuse for poor service. Yes their prices are cheap, but except rundown rooms and terrible employees. Avoid at all costs.

Pros: Price
Cons: Service, Atmosphere

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

This place is absolutely horrendous. Yes, the pricing was good, but the staff (which was just one man-I went on a Monday) was rude and the room he led us into had peeling paint and graffiti on the walls. When it was time to pay, my friends and I were trying to split the bill, and the man seemed extremely impatient and irritated (and we were the only customers at that time because it was still early!). The environment was horrible and the staff was terrible with a very unpleasant attitude. Please do yourselves a favor and don't go. I think this place should be shut down, or at least be renovated and hire a new group of staff.

Pros: Pricing
Cons: Everything else
