Walnut Grill 4 Star Rating - Very good

Walnut Grill is very good. I would suggest it to anyone. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good and the food is very good as well. They have a simple but good wine list.

Pros: nice atmosphere
Cons: a bit pricy, no parking

Another couple was seated before us even though we arrived first. The hostess station was shabby and dirty. Our table was missing a piece of laminate. The wall next to our table exhibited dirty splash spots (from wiping the table maybe?). I ordered a salad with chicken. Not only were there only about five small cubes of chicken, but the tomatoes were going bad. My dining companion's turkey wrap looked and tasted like it was comprised of deli turkey and Ore Ida fries. We each had a glass of water and a glass of tea. When the server removed our dishes at the end of the meal, she stacked one glass into the other. She took both of my glasses and left both of my companion's glasses. Even if I'd wanted another sip, I didn't have a chance. The staff is young and seem inexperienced.

Pros: Location
Cons: price, quality of food, staff

Been twice, very satisfied 4 Star Rating - Very good

With good appetizers, entrees, and drinks, you can't go wrong here if you're looking for a nice place to dine without wearing slacks or a skirt. The Cobb salad is fantastic, and I was impressed with the freshness of the avocado in it. Their fish selection is also broad, and they know how to cook it. My only complaint is the kitchen is so close to the dining room that it's sometimes possible to hear the staff yelling at each other.

Pros: Quality food, Good value, Food selection

Don't eat here if you want a bistro experience 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

They can't make a caesar, they don't know how to chill wine and the French Onion soup has uncooked onions in it. My companion had a steak sandwich that was basically a large piece of steak on a roll that only a jungle animal could tear with its teeth. The service is friendly and it's a nice room, but, obviously, we ordered the wrong things.

Pros: friendly, nice room
Cons: Onion soup, Caesar salad, waiters not smart
