Situated in the West Village of Buckhead, Aiko offers a one-of-a-kind experience... a sushi bar, martini lounge and night club, all in one. Open at 5:30pm, Aiko begins the evening as a full sushi bar with creative options, such as the Redneck Roll or Seven Sins Roll. As the night progresses and the lights dim, Aiko transforms itself into an eye-popping martini lounge. Resident DJs spin plenty of groovy beats while customers enjoy the large outdoor patio and the exclusive VIP lounge with private rooms. Boasting an atmosphere only found in big cities with swank nightlifes, Aiko is the first of its kind in Atlanta. Packed with beautiful people and unique sushi, Aiko is well on its way to becoming the hottest spot to see and be seen in Atlanta.

Nice!!!  5 Star Rating - World class

I love the music and the diverse crowd. I am not a fan of sushi, but my friends are and they loved it. When my friends and I go here we always have a great time, and we always feel welcomed.

Happy Hour Sushi 4 Star Rating - Very good

If you arrive there early on Fridays, you get some pretty cheap yummy sushi. During this time, however, there is hardly anyone around. People start showing up at about 12 when it's club time; not too many people come in for the dining experience.
Service has always been mediocre.

Enjoyable 5 Star Rating - World class

I am a sushi snob. Aiko meets all my criteria for an outstanding sushi bar. They have very fresh ingredients, trendy rolls and wonderful service.

go during happy hour 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Lesson Learned: Don't be too shocked if your food is really small and your bill is really big. If you want to save a little bit of money then I suggest you eat before you get there and aim for Happy Hour when some menu items are reduced 50%.

I recently dined at Aiko. Although I'm not a sushi fan, I would go for their Crab Kisses appetizer and calamari. They're so good! Its the only reason I go. If Aiko comes up in conversation, I always tell whomever to order them. Since I hadn't been to Aiko in so long, I was craving them. I was so excited until the waitress brought out these teeny tiny, itty bitty crab kisses. Needless to say I was disappointed. Even the calamari appetizer had less on the plate. I remember the kisses being very plump and the creamy crab meat would practically ooze out when you bit into them. This time, it looked like someone had siphoned out my yummy creamy crab meat and left me with dried up kisses with a pathetic little bitty bump where the crab stuffing once was. To me, they were more like Crab Pecks than Crab Kisses.

I must have made a comment about their size to my friend because the waitress asked if everything was ok. I asked her if something had changed and the waitress said "I haven't been here very long but other customers have said something about it too". My friend, who frequents Aiko, also said they were smaller, "Remember when we could share them?"

As I ate them really slowly in an attempt to relish the experience, I thought I should give Aiko benefit of the doubt. Perhaps the cook is new and didn't know he should put crab in the crab kisses. Or, perhaps I was just in denial things have changed and now this is how it is. :( Oh well!

Pros: food is good
Cons: small portions, high prices

Great Sushi, Service and Atmosphere 5 Star Rating - World class

Aiko was great about accommodating our large dinner party and our tardiness! The atmosphere was great and the sushi was amazing, you have to try the Red Neck Roll! As it got later the party peoplemade their way in and the music and dancing was really hot! I will definitely be back and tell others about our experience.

Pros: Sushi, Service, DJ / Dancing
Cons: None

SUSHI!! 4 Star Rating - Very good

In my opinion, the BEST sushi I've ever had! The selection is hard to beat and warrants going many (MANY) times to try what they have--I've been there 4 times and I haven't been dissapointed yet!!. The Miso soup is great to start with and you NEED to get your mouth wrapped around their SS (seven sins) rolls...the name says it all!. The location is easy to get to and the atmosphere and staff are so very enchanting. Recommended for a group or a quiet date--you can't go wrong!
