"Eat, Drink & Be Bavarian" at Penn Brewery, Pittsburgh's microbrewery and beer hall restaurant located in the historic Deutschtown neighborhood of Pittsburgh's North Side. Penn Brewery is the home of Penn Pilsner (Pennsylvania's first micro-brewed beer) and nine other award-winning, authentic German beers. Penn Dark was voted best dark beer in the world (World Beer Cup 2000). Penn Gold has won four Gold Medals at the Great American Beer Festival. Penn Weizen won World Beer Cup 2002 Silver Medal and three US Beer Tasting National Grand Championships (2002, 2003, 2004). Penn Brewery offers a full lunch and dinner menu featuring German and American foods, including vegetarian items. Live entertainment is featured Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
