detroit is lucky to have this club 5 Star Rating - World class

i was recently in detroit for business. after bouncing from from one place to another, i found my home away from home at pulse. i knew there had to be a lounge or club that embraced style, asthetics and the idea of living well in detroit. it took some time to find, and pulse is it. unpretentious, jovial, tolerant and thoughtful are words that come to mind when i describe the staff. do you and your freinds a favor - become regular customers at this great place. when i return on regular business trips, i will eat coneys (love them) and go to pulse.

Pros: one of the most welcoming lounges in the country
Cons: its not in my city

One of the coolest lounges in the Metro Detroit Area 5 Star Rating - World class

If you like a place that is relaxed, an atmosphere that's cool, beautiful people both working and partying then this is the place for you. I have been here on several occasions going back to parties during Super Bowl Week to the Tigers big run to the World Series and other random Tuesdays and weekend nights and the people are always nice and the drinks are great! Most of the time the huge HD screen is displaying cool pictures of the City of Detroit but if there is an important sporting event on TV you can bet it will be shown in crystal clear HD . I would highly recommend that you check out one of Downtowns gems the next time you are in the city.

Pros: Great atmosphere & service, creative drinks, high end premium liquors you don't normally find in other bars. Bartenders are more than willing to make recommendations when asked.
Cons: small sign that is hard to see when driving down the street.

Great Style and Atmosphere 5 Star Rating - World class

I've been there several times and have a few favorite drinks that I've not found anywhere else. The bartenders are friendly (unlike some of the other trendy bars) and the bathrooms are clean. It was a little difficult to find but there is a parking garage across the street in the Compuware building for only $3.00. I reserved a table for my birthday party and we were treated like royalty. I would recommend this bar for a special occassion any day of the week.

Love it! 5 Star Rating - World class

I have been to the Pulse several times. They have the best drinks in downtown detroit. I love the atmosphere and the music is great. The only downside to this place is that it is hard to find parking, but that's to be expected when you are downtown.

Pros: Great drinks and ambience
Cons: parking
