I've been going to "The Bistro" for a few years now and the food has always been great. Lately they seemed to have stepped up their game. My strip steak was delicious. Simply cooked with great flavor and not expensive. Our waiter was efficient but not pushy and actually seemed to care about the customer's needs.

In my gluttonous opinion, the best French restaurant, and one of the best restaurants overall in Philadelphia. Real french food cooked by a top French chef, flavor that can't be beat, in a stylish, unique setting.

5 Stars: WHAT A VIEW (by by vmordeir at Citysearch)

I had the prix fixe menu at lunch for 19.95. What a bargain
My girlfriend had the grilled calamari and I had the onion soup gratine. Then I had the best pot pie I ever had and she had the Pan roasted salmon with fingerling potatoes and bok choy with a banana sauce. Sound weird but it was delicious very creative.
as a dessert she had a lemon lime meringue tart and I had a pumkin profiterolles with caramel sauce.
The service was fast and friendly and the view was really nice we were sat by the window and we could see the museum and the river.

5 Stars: Delightful (by by tomconstantine at Citysearch)

My husband and I returned to "The Bistro" for our fifth anniversary. The food is always superb. This visit we went "tres francais" with the escargot and charcuterie apps, followed by a very tasty striped bass and rack of lamb. My only disappointment was that Bistro's legendary cassoulet was not yet on the menu. We finished by sharing a chocolate mousse cake "demi-boule". The ambiance was urbane yet comfprtable with sparkling river views. A wonderful and romantic evening.

5 Stars: Please Sir.. May I Have Some More (by by tessa12 at Citysearch)

What a great meal! Everything we had was super yummy and the prices were very reasonable. I had the risotto with scalllops which was unbelievable. If our waiter had rolled a tub of it up to the table, I would've dived in, head-first, just so I could eat my way out. I don't often have food fantasies quite like that, but that's how good it was.

5 Stars: More Than I Expected (by by phillyeater123 at Citysearch)

I went for Restaurant Week this past week and was thoroughly happy. I really enjoyed the spicy gazpacho and my girlfriend's pork. I had the pate (something I had never tried before) and really thought it was good.

All in all the food was simple and well executed and our waiter was efficient and personable even though the restaurant was packed. I'm really looking forward to trying their brunch this weekend.

2 Stars: Nice view, mediocre everything else (by by NicoleP at Citysearch)

Despite living in Philly for 15+ years, I finally made it over to Bistro St. Tropez this week after being curious for many years. While my curiosity is now sated, I can't say I feel any strong desire to go back.

Admittedly, I went there with a friend during restaurant week, when quality and service of food can always be suspect. Nevertheless, we were intrigued as their choices seemed more interesting and varied for the week than most.

After some confusion and long wait at the front, we were seated at a decent if crowded, small table facing 30th Street Station. They were out of the sparkling sangria listed on the RW menu so we got the red sangria instead, which was very good (even if our waiter seemed intent on spilling much of it on the floor). We had to order our entire meal, including dessert, right away. All dinners started with a generous and spicy bowl of gazpatcho. I then had the tuna tartare, which was ok, not especially flavorful and the toasts had some kind of spread on them that looked almost like cheese whiz. My main was a paella which also was just so-so: it was only lukewarm and seemed to have just been prepared in builk and dished out as ordered. For dessert, I had ordered a Gran Marinier frozen souffle which quite honestly had the taste and texture of cool whip and little else.

All told, nothing about the experience made me want to rush back for another meal. Beyond the just-average food, the room was very noisy and the wait service not great - and smelly! Our waiter had quite noticeable body odor which was really unpleasant any time he reached over to fill my water glass! This place seems to be lasting on its location and little else.

1 Stars: Service is a joke, too bad it's not funny. (by by Phil Sounds at Citysearch)

This restaurant has hands down the WORST service I have ever experienced. I do not feel I am being too hard or overly critical as I have been in the food industry for over ten years myself. Judging by the other reviews on this site, my experience was also not a unique one. The restaurant had only three other couples eating dinner and the server came by twice over the course of two hours. All that was ordered were drinks and appetizers. The second round of drinks was made, the waiter walked past our table with the drinks on his tray, walked up to another couple, gave them their drinks walked back right past us still carrying our drinks, set them down on the bar, and then proceeded to disappear for a half hour. At this point you figure, ok maybe he's going to bring the apps out with the drinks and they're ready, or they weren't the drinks I ordered. Literally 34 minutes later, the waiter comes back, picks the same tray up off the bar and brings the same drinks to my table now completely watered down by ice without any explanation, as if the drinks had to be brought to room temp to be served right. I usually leave a minimum 15% tip regardless of how bad service might be, but I couldnt bring myself to do it for this guy. I never did get my appetizers. Terrible service. The food MIGHT be good, but who could know if its never served to you. The parking authority will give you better service than this place does, and they BLATANTLY dont give a F*** about the citizens of Philly.

4 Stars: Awesome Food, Awful Service (by by lc09 at Citysearch)

We went to dinner at bistro st tropez last night (saturday) and had a great time with the food but very dissapointed with the service. Our server was a short girl with short hair. She was probably very new at serving since she knew nothing about the menu or the wine list. We wanted a bottle of red but she was so unsure that we ended up getting just 2 glasses of wine each. Our server came to our table once or twice and we felt ignored. We didnt even get her name( she might have said Nandy or something). The food saved the day. It was beautiful and tasty. Loved everything about our bass, scallops and tuna. great flavor combinations and perfectly cooked. I would definately go back for the food, not care so much about service.

5 Stars: GREAT VIEW AND GREAT FOOD (by by pdremise at Citysearch)

We found out a few nights ago when we went to Patou and had a fabulous experience that the Chef also own Bistro St Tropez so we went last night and love it .First this is one of the most beautiful view in Philadelphia. Sun set was superb and you could see the art museum with all the bridge it was very romantic with all the candle lid.
Dinner was so good.
We started with a nice botlle of French Champagne which was served promptly in an ice bucket The waiter knew how to pour which is always a plus and was also very professional. I had a grilled calamari with tomato olives, lemon juice and olive oil, very tender and delicious my boy friend had a lobster tart with roasted peppers, caramelized onions and black olives tapenade.
As the main course I had day boat scallops with herb potato goat cheese galette with frise salad, asparagus and cilantro curry sauce and my boy friend had the hanger steak which was juicy and perfectly cooked.
Then for dessert we both had a french apple tart with vanilla ice cream.I understand that they have their full menu for restaurant week so we can't wait to go back.
I definitely recommend Bistro St Tropez.

5 Stars: Great place for a date and what a view (by by adumas at Citysearch)

I heard from friends that Bistro St Tropez was romantic and the food was good. What an understatement....it was great.... probably the best food I had in Phila.Actually I was in France last week and the flavor and presentation were far better than the experiences I had.
We were sat at a table by the window , order a bottle of rose looking at the sun set. The service was attentive and friendly, they gave us enough space and knew when to approach the table.
The wine list was small but interesting at reasonable price. We actually found out that you also can bring your own wine and they will charge no corkage fee.

1 Stars: Brunch.. not really (by by scodl at Citysearch)

I dont understand when restaurants stop doing what they are supposed to and start doing what they are not good at. We went for the easter brunch and i was dissapointed. My eggs benedicts were not good very plain and dry and the hollandaise tasted like raw egg yolks. omlettes were not seasoned and the service was very slow, we got our meal in 45 min and the manager was obnoxious, there are many other brunch places in the city.

5 Stars: Best Brunch in Philly (by by michaelscott19106 at Citysearch)

I heard the jazz singer Venissa Santi on the radio and decided to check out the brunch where she's playing. What an awesome surprise. I've been to Bistro St tropez before for lunch a few years back, but this brunch is no lunch; it rocks. I've think I've found the best way to eat eggs--en cocotte. There were two eggs nestled in a cast iron bowl with spinach, mushrooms and a creamy sauce then baked til the eggyolks were soft. Pure heaven. Get the fresh baked bread and muffin basket (strawberry goat cheese...yum!) and I left stuffed for just over $10. They have an interesting list of brunch drinks (I had a creamy gin fizz). I'll be back next week.

1 Stars: An Embarrassing Waste of Time (by by jaselee4 at Citysearch)

The service at Bistro St. Tropez was horrible! My girlfriend and I arrived at 8:30pm and ended up leaving after two hours of waiting for our entrees. During our two hour wait we were served our glass of water, a few rolls, and a salad, and visited by our waitress twice...only twice! I shouldn't have to hunt down my waitress for service, especially since the restaurant wasn't even at max capacity! I could understand if service was slow because they were completely full, but they didn't even have that as an excuse. Meanwhile the couple next to us, who arrived 45 minutes after us, had been served their meals and finished. As we left, the manager/owner asked us to stay but never even offered a discount or any type of reparations for our wasted time. Sorry to those reading, but I can't even write a review on the food because we were never even served our entrees. I would not recommend this restaurant just based on the atrocious service, I wouldn't want your night ruined too.

5 Stars: Great Pick for Restaurant Week! (by by wangtheory at Citysearch)

My date and i recently went to Bistro St. Tropez for restaurant week and it was everything we could have imagined and more. The service was spectacular, the food was good. The wine list was solid (we picked out a nice white wine for salmon) It was a four course meal for the pre-fixe price and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Bravo!

5 Stars: Bistro (by Emily B.)

Someone has to tell you about this place to find it, but it is worth the find. Located on the top floor of the Market Design Center, it has a sweeping view of 30th Street Station and the 30th St. Post Office. Food is always good, and atmosphere is swanky.

1 Stars: Worst Restaurant I've Been To (by by Trish8649 at Citysearch)

One of the worst dining experiences I have had from the poor service to the food. I normally do not participate in reviewing anything on-line however, we had such a bad experience I felt compelled to add my comments to this web-site. I'm not real sure what was going on this past Friday night whether they were short staffed & maybe the regular chef had just quit however nothing went/was right (except for the wine). We had to ask for bread to be brought to the table. Cesar salads served without salad dressing. My sea bass was not edible - it was way overcooked. Another in my party ordered a steak medium & it was served almost raw (not rare - RAW). I think the thing that really bothered me was that no one seemed to care. Seeing I had not touched my dinner (when they finally came back to check 30 minutes later) I was not asked if the meal was OK - I was asked if I wanted a box????? Don't know why but, some in my rather large party after being in the restaurant for almost 2 hours chose to order desert - big mistake. The Bananas Foster was more like Banana Soup. This was not an inexpensive place either....Our bill was over $800. I did have a conversation with the manager & he did see fit to take 10% off the bill (hardly enough compensation considering they added in a gratuity of $161.50 to the adjusted bill) when the poor service was a big part of the problem. He did not however, seem too concerned about my complaints. Outrageous is all I can say - for the money you can do much better in the "City of Brotherly Love"

4 Stars: Competent but overpriced (by by airos4 at Citysearch)

Went there on a Thursday evening for dinner at about 5:30. We were the only people in the place, although more straggled in as we finished. Restaurant Week they give you four courses - everyone gets the wild mushroom soup, and then you can pick an appetizer or salad, an entree, and a dessert. The soup was frankly very bland and uninspiring. They did give us bread, which was small dinner rolls and was fine, and a pesto dipping sauce which was very nice. We each had a drink, which was $8 for her mixed drink and $6 for my Sangria. Both were in relatively small glasses with lots of ice, so be careful. I had the Boston salad with blue cheese and apples, which was very good, and my wife had the lump crab cake with apples, which she also said was good.

The entrees arrived and were plated very nicely. I had the herbed pork with caramelized apples and onions, which was quite good and I recommend it. Mine came with wilted spinach, which was fine, and a mashed sweet potato dish that simply great. Wish I knew how to make that one at home. My wife had the scallops, which she said tasted fine but - only 3 scallops! They were served over a corn/tomato sauce combination which was good, and with a few potatoes scattered on the plate.

Dessert was good but nothing amazing. The creme brulee was tasty but served very plainly; the Grand Marnier souffle was fine but not inspiring of greatness. Having said all of this, even with the Restaurant Week plan the total came to just over a hundred bucks for two people. I honestly don't know what their regular prices are like, but I did not feel this was a dinner that deserved even as much as we paid, much less "full price." I recommend the place for the service and the view, which was very nice, but I think the pricing is simply not in line with what you get. We both left having enjoyed the evening, but we won't be back for any sort of regular visits.

5 Stars: Phenomenal all around - food and service (by by Angie618 at Citysearch)

When visiting the Philly area, we stumbled upon the restaurant through an Internet search. We decided to try it. We could not have been more pleased. The decor was modern and sleek. The service was attentive and prompt. But the food.... Every course was better than the next, starting with the delicious rolls and basil oil. The mushroom ragout in truffle cream was incredibly indulgent and sinful. Our main courses of pork loin and braised lamb shank were succulent. To finish, the most creamy creme brulee ever. We were enchanted with the whole experience. We highly recommend it. Looking forward to a return visit to the restaurant on our next trip.

5 Stars: Consistently Great Food (by by KeithMcDonald at Citysearch)

Living in West Chester, I don't often come to the city. But when I do, Bistro St Tropez is definitely one of my stops. I've been going for 10 years now and it's upsetting to read a "review" like the previous one. No restaurant could be around for over 20 years if their food was "awful". I've had the pleasure of Chef Patrice showing me around his kitchen. What fun...and there's not a microwave in sight! I know I'll be enjoying Bistro's food for the next 10 years.

1 Stars: Awful food (by by gkennedy61 at Citysearch)

When I was younger, I Lost $50 to a grifter in a game of full card monty. That was money better spent than on this restaurant. Ignoring the bizarre walk through a closed mall to reach the restaurant, the 1980s hip decore (including a blinking neon palm tree), and the fact that the view of 30th St. station was obscured by steamed-over windows, the food was a bland and mildly nauseating affair. This was during restaurant week-4 courses for $35.
The first course was soup du jour. The best comment to be mustered about this soup by my date was that it was that the soup must be to cleanse the palate. Starting a theme, one potato in my soup had not been thoroughly microwaved, and was cold in the center.
For hor d'oeuvres, my date had escargot and I the duck confit. Having traveled to the French Riveria, and this being a French bistro, I presumed that the food might be of a similar brand. I was mistaken. The escargot was served in a thick and flavorless broth; the snails themselves were chewy, tasteless, and likely from a can. The duck was not a thigh of duck (as I have always before seen confit served), but rather diced pieces which resembled tuna from a can, and with which the duck shared a similar flavor.
For an entree, my date had the lamb and I the bass. Again failing to set the microwave timer properly, my date's lamb was cold in spots, warm in others, and in no places hot. The meal had an appearance similar to a BBQ, except without the deliciousness of one. It is unclear as to whether the lamb bone was actually a part of the meat, or was merely stabbed into the meat for pure presentation as an afterthought. As for the bass, I am not convinced that it was bass at all-this was a very light, white, and flaky fish; it if was bass, I have never eaten this part of a bass before. My guess would be monkfish. It was coated in an olive paste that was clearly not fresh-made. It is noteworthy that no ingredients were fresh, and were all of the cheapest quality.

We were lucky to get reservations for Bistro St. Tropez in the middle of restaurant week. We were not dissapointed at all my the food. Everyone basically licked their plate clean from salad to entree to dessert. The pommes frites and the apple tart were my personal favorites. The service was very good and the managers were friendly and funny. My only complaints are the location (hard to find inside the design marketplace) and the view (dirty Delaware river... not a pleasant sight!)

My boyfriend and I went to Bistro St. Tropez for a belated Valentines Dinner and it was one of the best meals we both had in such a long time. We were seated right by a window, and had a nice view that overlooked the city. They had a set 4 course menu which I though was great because neither one of us had been to a French restaurant before. We had delicious appetizer of smoked salmon and oysters, then a choice salad or a soup (both were so good). For the main course I had the lamb and filet combo with grilled veggies and potato patty, and my boyfriend had shrimp scallops and lobster in a buttercream sauce (both huge portions). They accidently brought us two desserts, and told us to take the second one home at no charge! The waiter was so attentive and recommended the best wines. On top of that the chef/owner went around to every table asking if everything was ok which I thought was great. It was wonderful service and food, at a great price too! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for tasty food at a great price as well as a lovely atmosphere!

5 Stars: Personal service from Chef PAtrice himself (by by phillygoer at Citysearch)

We recently attended the wine and cheese tasting along with their 3 course meal including cassoulet. Chef Patrice served us and was very personable and friendly. He even let us know where to get the decadent cheese served at the tasting. 5 FULL glasses on wine were served during the tasting, not just enough for a sip or two. The restaurant overlooks the entire sckuyhill river. It is a nice browse to walk through the Market Design CEnter to get to the bistro. Prices are extremely reasonable for such fine dining and great service. Hi Patrice! ALso check out his new sister restaurant Patou also located on Market street. They have an excellent Sunday brunch for $20 with live jazz, standards music.

5 Stars: I Love This Place (by by walleece at Citysearch)

... Every time I come back I love it even more. Bistro is one of the few places left that simply focuses on creative, tasty, fresh cuisine, friendly professional service, and leaving you the breathing room to relax and enjoy. Also the bass kicks *ss. How refreshing! Combine the delicious food, the bistro-mod atmosphere and smashing view, and you can't help but feel the love.

5 Stars: Terrific As Always (by by kozbie5 at Citysearch)

Bistro is and has been one of the best restaurants in town for many years. We are regulars, but we also went last week during restaurant week. Although the dining room was packed, our service was excellent as always. Our food was expertly prepared and we were happy to see that Bistro is keeping with its tradition of offering its full regular menu during restaurant week. Bistro is a gracious place where the kitchen and dining room staff care to make you welcome and part of the magic.

1 Stars: Nightmare service (by by lilyfield1 at Citysearch)

I went to Bistro St Tropez as part of my traditional multiple restaurant visits during restaurant week. Having gone there before I (during normal times) expected good service. Well to my surprise I believe I encountered the rudest inconsiderate waiter ever. After being seated I believe he got to my table around 5-10min after sitting. And it was not that busy which is still no excuse. He finally managed to take our order. When we were seated there was an empty table next to us within 5min of being seated the party at the next table had bread, drinks and were starting on their appetizers (they also received their dinner before us). While we had yet to receive our drinks let alone our bread or app's. I believe we saw our waiter a total of 4x's through out the night. And to make matters worse the waitress who had the table next to ours had to refill our water glasses and get our drinks. I almost tipped her. I have my own reasons as to why we received such poor service but I will definitely not be going back. ***If you get Hassan as a waiter watch out!!!*** There are some good points but they were completely overshadowed by the poor service received.

5 Stars: Incredibly delicious Gateau Chocolat! (by by yael80 at Citysearch)

I don't remember how many times I found myself at Bistro St. Tropez having their incredibly delicious Gateau Chocolat. Just sitting at their lunch bar and watching Schuylkill River at dusk.. Sipping my cocktail... I feel like I am in Europe! And what's funny is I have been living in the Art Museum Area for 5 years now and I just discovered that there's a great restaurant located right by my house! Before Bistro St. Tropez, I was like: hmm should I order a pizza or Chinese tonight? But now I know where and what I want to eat. I take my Nano, I put my headphones on and take a short little walk to 24 and Market. Everytime I go there, I enjoy my lunch, I enjoy my dinner. I mean everytime! And you Chocolate lovers: You MUST try their Gateau Chocolate!!! It's so goooood!

5 Stars: Best view in Phila (by by jnorman123 at Citysearch)

I had my 45th birthday party at Bistro st Tropez it was one of the best party I ever had, memorable evening. Service was professional and friendly. The food lived up to our expectations and we drank great roses Provence wines which were affordable and reminded me of Moore brothers wine store. We were in a private room which had a slick bar with great stools. We booked a jazz band and we dance watching the sun set overlooking the schullkill river bridges and art museum. It felt like we were in Paris. Definitely one of the BEST VIEWS in the city. I highly recommend going to this restaurant

5 Stars: A Happy Valentine (by by ankl at Citysearch)

We had a lovely Valentine's at BST. We were greated at the door with a rose. Our food was great, our service was very good considering the place was packed to the rafters with people, and the atmosphere was energetic and fun. We did have to wait about 20 minuites for our table because it was so busy, but we happily sipped on cocktails at the bar and took in the fabulous view. We had a 4 course meal for $55 each, alcohol not included. Especially notable was the blood orange mousse dessert. Our evening was love, love and more love.

1 Stars: Really Bad Service. Management didnt care (by by e4west at Citysearch)

The only contact we had with our waiter was choosing off the course menu. He did not introduce himself, was not friendly. Service was simply non-existent. It was like 2am diner service. Dd not pay any attention to our table and drinks went unfilled. I was most amazed when he failed to check back when ANY of the courses were served. I thought this was standard in the restaurant industry. My fiancee' commented that she wished we had just stayed at home and ordered a pizza. Below average food and heard staff talking about guest complaints. Spent $160 on the food we didn't eat and the service we didn't receive. Absolutely mortifying. If this was a product I purchased at a store, I would have returned the defective product and received a refund. No response from management!

5 Stars: Excellent Restaurant Week and Other Weeks (by by mellimo at Citysearch)

I have dined at the Bistro many times for lunch and dinner, with business associates and with family. The food has always been excellent and the service welcoming and knowledgeable. This RW was no exception. Ordering off what looked like the usual full menu we had sumptuous food accompanied by a bottle of lovely burgundy. As always the atmosphere made the meal that much better, where in addition to the great view and the sylish people at the next tables, you are taken back to a time and tradition where the diner is treated truly as a guest, when people behaved elegantly and where the success of the evening is measured by the satisfaction of the patron.

We attended dinner here for Phila.s Restaurant week because the menu looked fantastic. Its a shame we couldnt eat the menu. Other than the mussel appetizer, everything else was just OK. My Tuna Tartar with avocado and corn was almost void of tuna. Our 2 entrees, a Sea Bass dish and a pan seared duck with mashed sweet potatoes, were nothing to write home about. The desserts were satisfactory. With 2 drinks, the bill, before tip, was around $100. We wont be rushing back.

1 Stars: Restaurant Week - 9/21/05 (by by kpress at Citysearch)

We attended dinner with friends for Restaurant Week. I had underseasoned mushrooms and pork risotto - the smallest entree I've ever seen. The meat was the size of two fingers. The risotto was crunchy. (Our friends agreed about their risotto. Another said her crabcake tasted like it had gelatin in it. Anothers entree of steak/frites was tough/soggy, respectively). The slivers of chocolate mousse were miniscule. Getting to the restaurant at 5:15 I was told by the hostess that they were not open yet and not offered a seat/water (after my 1 hour commute ). I sat in the lobby while the crew vacuumed. Ordered bottles of wine bringing our total meal to well over the $30 each advertised for a very disappointing experience.

After filling out their website form, I'm being "treated to" a complimentary dessert - of course, the offer is only good until 8/22/03. Thanks.....? It's 9/21/05.

5 Stars: The Best (by by ebbitts at Citysearch)

This place is the hidden gem of Philadelphia. I think this restuarant offers the best French food in town, a great selection of wine, skilled and friendly waitstaff, comfortable chic atmosphere, dynamite view, very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the tuna tartare appetizer and rascasse entree. Also, although this plays no part in my review of my dining experiece, the chef, Patrice, is French and very sexy.

5 Stars: Better Than Ever (by by tomkl at Citysearch)

Having recently had a great meal at the Bistro's sister restaurant Patou, I decided my dollars may also be well spent returning to the Bistro. I hadn't been there for awhile, and not with the current girlfriend. The Bistro is sexy as ever, the place you want to go set the "mood". Food was as great as I remembered, especially the tuna tartare, rascasse, and lavandou dessert. Nice wine list. Service was very good, friendly, yet inobtrusive. We sat in the dining area by the bar and were treated to a fantastic view of the Schulkyl river and art museum. This place is all about dining and cuisine, not gimmicks. You can taste it.

5 Stars: Odd location, great restaurant! (by by tatumliv at Citysearch)

I went there on a date last week and absolutely loved the place. A bit of a maze to get to, following arrows up to the 4th floor of a rather strange building, but the view and general ambiance was great and totally worth it. I enjoyed every course of my meal though I must say I was disappointed to find out that they ran out of my top two dessert choices (creme brulee and warm choc cake). My third choice was splendid though still and the wine choices were varied as well. I definitely look forward to going back and highly recommend it as a nice evening get-a-way.

5 Stars: Odd place for a great restaurant (by by seviche at Citysearch)

I wouldn't recommend going here just for the oft-fogged view of the Schuylkill and the train yards across the river. That said, I would recommend going here for the great food and creatively complementary wine list. Delicate and intricate flavors intertwine to ... ah, hell, if you're a Philly foodie, you'll have your license revoked if you don't go.

Also, the trip past the furniture display rooms in the Design Center makes a story you can tell every time you're on the other side of the Scuylkill to your friends who've been meaning to go but haven't quite made it yet.

I went to the Bistro St. Tropez just last weekend. I had such a fabulous time. This place is truly a hidden treasure. My husband and I were very impressed with the friendliness of our waitress and the beautiful atomosphere. The food was incredible. I ordered the mussels and then the red snapper and my husband had the scallops and then the filet (melts in your mouth). I would definatly tell my friends about this place.
2 Stars: The Worst Service (by by sm1874 at Citysearch)

Went there for lunch, arrived at 12:00, very early for lunchtime in the city. The menu was great, many different foods to chose from, however upon ordering the waiter told us that two out of the three things we ordered went available, then after 15 minutes the waiter came back and told my other co-worker her item was available, so it was 3 for 3. During the 35 minutes we waited for a lunch, we never received the appetizer that we ordered, that came out with out lunch. The service was the worst though, we never saw waiter, had to beg to get another glass of tea and when the bill came we were given someones bill. All and all a bad experience and I would never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone.
