Sophisticated signature dishes and varied regional and international cuisine set the stage for dining at Verandah, the Four Seasons premier dining room.

Editorial by Citysearch

In Short
The indoor dining area features dark-wood floors, cushioned seating, tropical plants and moss-green drapery, and it overlooks the lush gardens and outdoor pool. Meals are served all day, but diners are drawn to the breakfast buffet on the weekends that offers egg favorites, a doughnut and pastry station, and fresh fruit juices. The "anytime" menu offers traditional favorites like the club sandwich and chicken wings.

The Inside Scoop

  1. The Extras - If you're sick of spending all your time indoors, try the restaurant's Mediterranean-style outdoor patio. It has more than 30 tables, so you likely won't have trouble finding seating.

Ratings_icons BOOTIFUL. Really at the Four Seasons

feyfey v. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 226

This restaurant is in the Four Seasons which is attached to Mandalay Bay. The tables are big and far apart, there is an inside section an outside section. It overlooks the lovely pool. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve sandwiches, salads and entrees. All in a kind of southern theme.

Ratings_icons Not That Impressed for a Four Seasons Restaurant

jaybeeinla

I attended a friend's birthday party this past Saturday. The service was top notch and our server was quite patient with our small crowd. We enjoyed the olive oil with fig, balsamic vinegar for the bread. That was a delicious vinegar and I hope to find it locally. I ordered the sausage and shrimp tortellini. My boyfriend ordered the risotto with clams and mussels. My boyfriend enjoyed the risotto, however I was disappointed. My dish arrived and after a couple of bites I realized it was missing the shrimp and the tortellini was actually ravioli. I questioned our server about the missing shrimp and he explained that the shrimp is ground in with the sausage. I really couldn't tell it was there. After that was said I didn't want to push any further by asking why I was served ravioli when the menu shown it as tortellini. I saw everyone was nearing completion with their plates and I felt I needed to finish up. After all it is $21 for the dish and I wasn't going to waste it.

Our hosts were not satifisfied with their dishes. One had a sausage raviolo (do not know for certain which one on the menu) and the other host had the expensive surf and turf. Both said they had better food back home.

Everyone else enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. I may give the restaraunt one more chance the next time I go to Vegas. Just don't order the sausage and shrimp tortellini.

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Cons: Food not that impressive for a Four Seasons Restaurant

Ratings_icons Sit on the patio....

hamachibelly

This was a most pleasant experience. It was crowded, but the hostess was able to find seating pretty quickly. We got to sit on the patio and it was a perfect setting...next to the pool. They started out with a bread/cracker basket with a wonderful white bean dip. The dip was so good we had to order seconds. We had a scrumptious salad. Normally I dislike blue cheese because it is a "strong" cheese; however, this salad had such a good combination of textures and flavors. The ice tea was spectacular as the ice cubes were made from ice tea. The sweet potato fries had just the right combination of sweetness and saltiness. Service was very good and very friendly. Overall, a very relaxing, pleasant visit.

Pros: Fantastic service, decor, food....

Cons: None....

Ratings_icons Love the patio for lunch.

schuyler17

The outdoor patio is very relaxing for lunch. The food is very good and I love the Iced Tea with the ice cubes make from Iced Tea. If you live a stressful life and need to chill for an hour or two, make a reservation for the patio and kick back and enjoy the very good food and service.
For Brunch be warned, if you get there too late, they pull the food right on time - so don't book a late seating or you'll be bummed.

Pros: Lunch on the Patio

Cons: How they pull Brunch regardless of when you arrived.
