I've been struggling with acne and I thought I was the only one still breaking out in my 30's. But Kyra told me I wasn't alone. She was so easygoing as she helped me sort out what I was doing wrong and finding the right routine to follow at home. My skin is so much clearer with regular facials now I hardly have to wear make-up. This spa might be small but the treatments are super.

They were prompt, courteous, & friendly. We were immediately greeted while they took our jackets. My wife & I both had treatments. She had one type of massage while I had another.

Both massage therapists "delivered." All tension GONE! So relaxing. More importantly, effective.

Dee also had a facial. She said it was the best one she ever had. I'll agree. She truly looks awesome.

We were given samples of their product recommendations. Nice touch. No pressure. Plus my wife was given water by her massage therapist. She was offered a lot of attention, during her treatments.

They pay close attention to emphasizing the "relaxation factor." They check what areas need the most attention. However, they also "listen" to you. That "speaks" of their professionalism.

It's a place that let's you know they're grateful for your patronage. They really make you feel special. They're knowledgeable, expert "teachers," & excel in their chosen professions. How you look & feel following a visit to Jillian's is all the evidence we needed. We're convinced.

Caring, good listeners, & obviously knowledgeable. They place emphasis on relaxation & "doing it right." They're so talented. Your time here is your reward. It's positively effective.

The atmosphere is simple & inviting. Jillian & her staff are "without a doubt" the best around. They show it by they way in which you are treated, the way you look, & the way you feel after a visit to this spa. It's a special experience.

I promise you that one visit here & you'll never "book" @ another spa. Once you've had the best, why settle for anything less? I highly recommend this spa. If you don't "give it a try," all I can say is it's "your loss."

As someone w/ Multiple Sclerosis following a recent relapse, my muscles feel like "knots." I'm extremely "tight" w/ a lot of spasticity. The therapist gave just the right amount of pressure to relieve this. She also worked OT on me. She really worked hard & "put her all into it." I can really feel the difference in my body. She never left my side before or after the massage. She did far more than my massage. She assured my safety. Most spas would just leave you "on your own."
She recommended products & explained their benefit w/ usage instructions. Everything she suggested is wonderful. She explained things so I would know exactly what, how, & when to do it. I've NEVER felt better. Her technique was effective. It left me feeling absolutely awesome. Her suggestions were "spot on."
Soothing, calming, relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming & comfortable. Professional but somehow you feel like you're one of the family. An atmosphere of upper east side simple elegance.
However, most importantly they know what they're doing. They're TOPS! I'm booked for another appointment. I'm using the products & "reaping" their benefits. Anywhere else after your first visit @ Jillian's is just substandard. If I could I'd give them an A+; a 10 star rating!

the service as well as the treatment are impeccable. I came out not only looking much better, but feeling healthy, rejuvenated, and relaxed!

Mandy is the girl who worked on me, and she seemed to know a LOT about skin types - she was able to identify immediately that i had an oily complexion and developed a special routine just for that. it is what i follow every day and it works.

Jillian is the consumate professional. I have complete confidence in her skills and she has done amazing things for my skin. Most importantly, she is welcoming, warm, and caring. She shows a genuine interest in her clients and takes the time to add those personal touches that make the experience special. Jillian does not push product like so many other spas. She makes thoughtful recommendations and provides samples which allow you to make an informed decision before investing in products that you might not use. Her new location is fabulous. The spa has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very clean. I begin to relax the minute I walk in. This is the best spa experience that I've had in the city.

I live in London and wish that I could visit Jillian Wright every month. As it is, two or three times a year is all I can manage. Even so, the improvement in my skin - which was ok (from regular facials) before I had my first Lifestyle Facial with Jillian - has been considerable. Her facials, technique and products have made a real difference to my skin. Above all, she and everyone else at Jillian Wright are so nice and attentive and genuinely interested in helping their clients. My skin has never been better and it's all down to Jillian Wright.

Jillian Wright has created a unique environment -- a spa meritocracy that gives equal attention to all customers. And that attention is superb. I started going to this place (which just changed its name from Glow) in 2006. I thought my sun-damaged, middle-aged skin had seen its best days. Jillian put me on a regimen of photo facials and reasonably priced skin care products that 3 years later have me looking 10 years younger. My husband, not a spa guy, LOVES this place for its low-key ambiance. We've both had services from several staff members and they're all smart, nice and well-informed. In the big NYC void between overpriced snob joints and cheap skin care factories, Jillian Wright outclasses everybody.

I have been to a few spas in NYC, and have always been disappointed. I was literally about to give up when a friend suggested Glow Skin Spa, which is now called Jillian Wright Clinical Skin Spa. I walked in & immediately felt welcomed...almost like I was visiting a friend at their home. Offered to take my coat & offered an antioxidant water that was amazing! Mandy greeted with a warm smile & took me back to the facial room. She was very thorough in her technique & let me know everything she was doing before she did it. She was very helpful in letting me know what to do at home for my skin & didn't push products on me at the end. Instead, she gave me samples to see if I liked it before buying it. I can't wait to go back in there for the serum & moisturizer she recommended. I am thrilled to have have found such a gem in NYC. This spa & Mandy are highly recommended from me!!!!

When I first started my facials with Jillian, I was completely desperate. I was a young girl suffering with stubborn acne with no end in sight. I had literally tried everything from products to supplements to energy work and beyond. Nothing gave me results that lasted.
I started off with the "Acne Clearing" facial by Jillian. I was pleased with the immediate results because it was refreshing to have my skin cleared out. After that first visit, I decided to ditch the pharmaceutical creams that my dermatologist had prescribed just to give the products that Jillian works with a shot. What did I have to lose?
This ended up being one of the best decisions I've made in regards to my skin care. I started with the transport pads as well as a mix of products by the Bio-Elements line. Ever since that first visit, nearly a year ago, I have been a devotee to the products carried by Jillian's spa as well as a regular facial client (I now do the Lumi-Facial with extractions and love it!). I go for my facial every month- religiously- because this is most effective for my type of acne prone skin.
I will go nowhere else for my facials. Jillian Wright and her entire team have been 110% supportive of me and my battle with acne. Anytime I have a question, I call the spa. From time to time, I've emailed Jillian with a question or two about my personal regime and how that may effect my skin. EVERY TIME I emailed with a concern, I was addressed immediately with a thorough response. I've even gone in (day of) to take care of certain spots before a performance or a shoot. I mean, can you get any better than that?
Jillian truly cares about her clients. She is knowledgeable and passionate. It also helps that she gives the best facials in all of New York City. Clearing up my acne has changed everything for me. I feel confident and in touch with my own skin. Last, but certainly not least, feel supported by Jillian and her team.

Do yourself a favor and try them out. If I've learned anything from them it's that you deserve to feel your best.

I'm very picky when it comes to facials. I usually require all of those back heads to be squeezed out. And here's the thing, only few people can make it right without leaving any redness or red spots on my face. Jillian is definitely one of those only professionals who leaves my skin clear. I can actually go out right after that without hiding my face. It is a pleasure to be at the spa. Everyone is so nice and professional. I highly recommend it!

I usually go for facials once a month. I have a girl that I go to but I walked by Jillian Wright Clinical Skin Spa and decided to give them a try. I called the same day looking for an appointment that evening and to my surprise, they had one available. Mandy was my aesthetician and she was so pleasant and welcoming. I felt at ease right away. After I settled in, she took me to the treatment room which was very clean and comfy. Once she started the facial, I knew I was in good hands. She explained everything she was doing for my skin because I asked her to, but towards the end, I did fall asleep. All I know is that my experience was great and my skin feels lighter and brighter. She extracted every blackhead I had and also gave a great upper body massage.

I loved the LED light facial with microdermabrasion. My skin feels smoother and less bumpy. I also noticed my skin wasn't red when I left. I will be going back for sure!

About two weeks ago I had the Bioelements Acne Clearing Treatment done and the experience was like heaven. I could see the difference in one session and can't wait for my next appointment(which is this week). Mandy is very knowledgeable and any doubts/questions I had she answered...She's the best and super friendly...made me feel at ease. The place is very relaxing and the staff are very friendly....the receptionist is so kind and helpful...everyone is. I have already recommended this place to all my friends and family.

I went to Jillian Wright Clinical Skin Spa (formally Glow Skin Spa) because my friend went there and now her skin is clear. I suffer from hormonal acne and before I went, I couldn't get it under control. Marjorie, did an acne clearing facial last month and this month and I see a significant difference in my skin. It is smoother, and I have less breakouts. She put me on a simple program (only 4 products), unlike other places and I feel so much better. I know I have a long way to go, but at least I'm on the right track! I can't wait till next month (even though the extractions are uncomfortable), I know they are doing me a lot of good!!!!

When I originally searched this spa, I was looking for Glow Skin Spa. Over the summer, they moved and changed their name to Jillian Wright Clinical Skin Spa. Jillian the owner of Glow decided "it was time to brand herself" so she told me! I booked a Lifestyle Facial because, being a lover of facials and having them religiously, I wanted to try the ultimate but also get some sound advice as to what I should be doing to prevent premature aging. Jillian is simply amazing! She sat down with me and we chatted about my skin, my history, nutrition, my expectations and the facial itself was the best Ive ever experienced.

This is a nice place but after all the good press and great reviews I've seen I was a little disappointed. This is one of those places that give u a "spa" style facial (lathering on creams, massaging your face, etc) but not so much results, I don't feel like my face got a good deep cleaning which is what I expected. I came home and saw my nose still had those little bumps which are usually gone after I get a facial. My face does "glow" but I've had better. I wouldn't not recommend or recommend it.

Having read all the great reviews on citysearch about Glow skin spa, I thought I would give it a try.
First time I was dissapointed with the results, but decided to go back and give them a second chance. After the second time, I realised that it was just not working for me.
Considering that you pay a very high price for a facial, I would expect much better results.
When I went back home to Europe on holidays, I went for a facial to my usual Spa and the girl was pretty shocked when she saw the state of my skin. It was much dirtier than it had ever been and had developed a bit of acne. This is what I was thinking myself but needed an experts opinion. After just one facial with her, I saw immediate results, my skin was bright, acne dissapeared, and I had paid about 60 per cent less than I did here.
Maybe the products they use at Glow skin spa just don't work for me, but won't be going back again.

After looking up for so many days online and a in depth research for a really good facial place, i finally picked Glow Spa. I left them a voice mail to schedule an appointment and within an hr they called back to schedule the same.

I got my the Signature Glow facial from Marjorie and believe me it was really good. She was very warm and sweet. She explained every thing that she was doing and the process really helped me relax. At the end of the facial she gave a few samples of the products that she thought was good for my skin and the really good thing about her was that she was not pushy at all.

All in all a really good facial and worth the dough!

I made an appointment with Glow after having read so many great reviews. I've never had very good experiences with facials, but I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed.

I was given a friendly greeting by the woman at the front desk. I instantly felt comfortable in this small, but very relaxing and soothing space. I was offered a beverage while I waited, but I didnt have to wait long. My appointment was with Marjorie. She was excellent! I had originally signed up for an acne clearing facial, but once she took a look at my skin, she suggested that I get the double surface exfoliating facial because my skin was so dry. I was very scared about extractions because they're usually painful and make you look awful in the end. She told me that for this first vist, hydration was most important and she ended up performing only a few extractions.

She explained everything she was doing so I always knew what was going on my face and why. Although I tend to think my skin is pretty bad, she made me feel pretty good about it. I left a little red from where she had extracted, but my face has NEVER been so soft. I just want to keep touching it. I still have some clogged pores because this wasn't an extraction focused facial, but my face felt clean and soft and I couldn't be happier with how it came out.

As for products, she did suggest which products would work best for my skin, but she did not try to push them on me. She provided me with samples of everything she used during the facial and even gave me a little booklet with instructions on how and when to use them.

I made an appointement for next month right there and then. It's a little pricey, but its your face! It's worth the investment!

I first went to this spa because my sister gave me a gift certificate and I have not stopped going back since. I love it!!! Jamie is so nice and does a terrific job. She really knows what she's talking about and has given me a lot of advice about overall skin care. The facials are very relaxing and my skin looks fantastic when I leave there. I'm going again next week and I can't wait!

I've tried facials all around the city and finally found one that I loved. Very relaxing, great environment, and my esthetician (I believe Jaime) was great. My skin glowed for a week, through a bunch of flights and a trip to the mountains. Highly recommended.

This was my first Hot Lava Shell Massage and my first viist to Glow Skin Spa...it was absolutely heaven!! The staff was very attentive and offered us tea and a great blueberry & white tea drink as soon as we arrived!

Rose, my therapist, had amazing hands plus the heat from the shells was very therapeutic! I was extremely stressed before I arrived but left feeling so very relaxed!!

After much searching for a great spa visit, I am glad we decided to choose this place! The reviews are right on!!

The only downfall is that I cannot have this at least once a week! But I will most definitely be visiting them soon for a facial and another massage!! :)~

I had my very first facial today with Marjorie and I LOVED IT! She let me know everything she was doing and what she was putting on my face. After the facial she advised me on what would work best on my skin and left it up to me to decide if I wanted to purchase the products. It was relaxing and my skin feels so smooth, I can't stop touching it. I highly recommend the Glow Skin Spa, specially Marjorie, if you plan to get a facial. I plan to return every couple of months to follow up.

I have been going to Glow for over a year and have had terrific results. I go for a Glow Signature Facial with Jaime every month and my skin has never looked better. She customizes my treatment and always makes helpful recommendations. Afterwards my skin feels great and refreshed. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Jaime for a facial. I have been seeing Marjorie at Glow Skin Spa since April 2008, and the results I have experienced are incredible. For 14 years, I suffered from acne. I tried every remedy imaginable, from dermatologist recommended topical treatments and antibiotics, to herbal remedies. Nothing cleared my skin. In the past, I was hesitant about seeking treatment at a spa for several reasons - would my acne flare up and worsen? Would it be a waste of money? How could an esthetician properly treat my skin if so many dermatologists couldn't even get it right? I finally decided to take a chance, and received my first acne clearing facial from Marjorie. I was so impressed by how thorough she is - especially when giving extractions. From that day forward, I've been seeing her every 4 weeks. This is the best my skin has EVER looked. She has successfully cleared my skin, and is now working on evening out my skin tone and eliminating acne scars. I look forward to my monthly appointments with Marjorie because I know I am getting nothing but the best treatment. My skin just keeps getting better!

I went to Glow Skin Spa for the first time yesterday. To be completely open, I wasn't expecting much. I had been to other spas in the city and thought I had the best service but I decided to try Glow Skin Spa due to my previous skin expert leving her job after having a baby. I was so pleasantly surprised to have found my new skin specialist at Glow! I liked the environment and care that I received. I highly recommend it.

I had the BEST facial and massage at Glow! I went in for the 1st time on a Sunday afternoon after making the appointment just the evening before. I was in desperate need of a Spa Day as stressed out I have been with work! Marjorie did my facial and she was very straight forward about my skin and what I should be doing and what I should not be doing! I went in thinking I had the skin from hell, but she said, "Nope, it isn't bad at all you just need to have a regimen" so great to hear and it put me at ease for the rest of my time with her. She's EXCELLENT at what she does and I immediately booked an appointment with her again in 3 1/2 weeks. She put me on a skincare regimen and said by the time I return for my next facial my skin should be much, much better condition. The very next morning I woke up to glowing smooth skin that I have never had ever! The spa is small, but serene and none of the uptightness that you would expect from a spa in midtown. The products they offer are great as well. All the young ladies who work there are so pleasant and nice. I had about an hour in between free after my facial so Marjorie made sure I was comfortable made me some tea, gave me some mags and said put your feet up and rest! To my surprise they asked if I would like to order food since I did have a wait and that was great because I was starved! I had a great lunch, quietly reading mags and just relaxing in a cozy bathrobe, I felt at home. Then came my massage with Doreen which was AWESOME! I was so tense, tight, you name it and she felt it and insisted I relax. Once I did relax I was gone into another world I tell you! She has great hands that knead in the right places. By the time she was done I was in heaven and did not want to move! lol But reality kicked in and I made an appointment with her for my next visit. I plan to bring my best friend along so she can experience what I experienced! Glow Skin Spa is now my monthly indulgence because I deserve it!!

Went for facial and did not feel pressured from sales talk I usually get from other spas. The owner, Jillian, is proud of her staff and her passion for the pursuit of beautiful skin. Glow Skin Spa follows the fusion of science and nature in her approach to skin care which matches my skin care regimen. I also liked the charm the place offered. Will definitely return for more pampering.

I have had several facials at Glow with Dana and am highly impressed. She is a true professional and has a very intelligent, open way of explaining, discussing and recommending everything from treatment types to products. My oily skin tends to a lot of blocked pores and her product recommendations have been excellent in helping keep my oil levels more balanced and my pores smaller, less blocked and generally better behaved all around! Nothing but good things to say here and compared to other salons where facials are perhaps a bit ($20-$30) less money you get far more than your money's worth at Glow. Brava Dana!

it was great to finally find a place where they know a lot about your skin and the way it works! the facials are great and all girls spend time with you to figure out your needs.
definitely if you want your skin to glow:) that is the place!
one things that this place lacks is a relaxing spa atmosphere.... it's not like you come in, they give you a rope, slippers and you can sit on a couch, watch TV, drink fancy tea and listen to a good music on the background.... there are spas like that.. this one is more for actual results, if you have any concerns about your skin... i would say it's more medical approach, which i love!

I am not a type of person to write review. I read them and make a decision to wander to go or not. But I can't resist not saying anything about my experiences with Glow Skin Spa. More like, it is my last resort . For years, I been suffering with acne. Until recently, my acne is just not behaving anymore. In addition, I have sensitive skin too. So I am very limited to what I can use. I believe I brought everything that is out there for my skin type. Spend over $500, still no results. I was very very frustrated. Until I read the reviews here and give this spa a try. I must say, I am so glad I did. The person who made my face all in balance and clear is the lovely Jaime Carson. She customize my facial and my at home regimen. She always tell me what she is doing during the facial. After 4 months, my skin is soooooooooooooooo much more clearer. The environment is great. Like there slogan. They can't wait to pamper you. And I must say. THEY DO PAMPER YOU.

Being a man who has never had a facial or been to a spa, I was a little leery about this. I must tell you, my aesthetician, Meaghan put me right at ease with her friendliness and sense of humor. It really was a refreshing experience. It was so relaxing, I actually fell asleep! My skin felt great after the treatment and my girlfriend said I looked fabulous! I will be returning! My coworker's girlfriend was kind enough to pass along her Spa Week appointment to me when she found out she would be out of town. I went to Glow and had a great experience. I often go into a facial and leave it to the specialist to recommend the treatment for me. My specialist chose the glycolic facial and it was great and I left feeling refreshed. The second time I went my specialist was Kyra. I have been trying out various spas for a while now and with my combination skin and the constant travel it has been hard to locate the right products for me. Kyra was great. Skin felt great after the facial and the products she recommended have been perfect. I have gone through many trial regiments before and told her I wanted it to be a simple regiment. I took her recommendation and I have been very pleased with the results.

I've been going to see Marjorie for about six months. She has made my skin look amazing! She is sweet and gentle and I feel refreshed every time I see her. She has suggested various products, but has never pushed any of them on me. Frankly, they work, and I now trust her guidance. And though a Brazilian might be the most uncomfortable position to be in -- it is actually, easy and relaxing to have done. Marjorie is a true professional and takes time with her clients to instruct on the products and proper skin care techniques. Amazing woman! Also, Gillian Gorman's sports massages are a MUST for any athlete.

A neophyte I am not when it comes to spa facials. For whatever reason (maybe I needed another challenge in my life?), my creator bestowed adult acne upon me. I have tried OTC products, I?ve had my dermatologist prescribe creams and antibiotics, all to stave off painful eruptions and unsightly white/blackheads. After bouncing around, trying various spas and their spa facials, I?ve been blessed to happen upon Glow and, more specifically, Jaime Carson.
When I first came to Glow, my skin was a road map and horribly inflamed. Jaime gently evacuated my skin and set up a plan of action to calm my skin and prevent future problems. I appreciated the time (I needed an extra 20 mins. of extractions!) and care she showed me. She?s phenomenal and I recommend her with unqualified zeal. She loves her profession; it shows in her manner and her work. I?ve been her client for two months and my skin has done a complete turnaround. If you want the same, run, don't walk, to Glow spa. At last, my search is complete -- good thing since Jaime has eradicated the roadmap from my face :o)

It's been five months since my first facial at Glow and my skin has never looked better. Since then, I've received numerous compliments about how good my skin looks and how my skin just "glows" beautifully. The facials have helped my skin become more healthy inside and out. Prior to this, I visited dermatologists and none has been able to achieve the results I got at Glow. I truly wished I found this place sooner. My skin is not easy to handle--I have super-sensitive skin with periodic breakouts. I've been seeing Keri at Glow and she is truly terrific. She knows exactly how to take care of my skin. I'm pretty nervous about getting facials in general because of my sensitive skin, but I know I'm in good hands with Keri. She is friendly, down-to-earth, accommodating, and very knowledge about skincare. I have lots of questions and she's able to answer all of them very throughly. She also took the time to send me website links so that I can read up more on topics I've asked about. She listens well and makes the right recommendations for my skin to achieve its optimal state. Thank you Keri for helping me regain the confidence I lost when I experienced those painful breakouts. Now I walk out confidently knowing that I don't have to hide my skin anymore. Glow is intimate and very relaxing--you'll feel a sense of calm and serenity the moment you step inside. The Glow team really takes care of you to ensure you have the best experience--thank you everyone at Glow for making me one loyal customer!!!

I have had several facials at Glow Skin Spa and I keep coming back for more. Their friendly staff put you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. The zen environment of the spa is super relaxing and authentic. And - oh yeah - the facials are amazing. They really look at your skin and customize a facial just for you. They also explain each step for you if you are interested, so you know all the wonderful things they are doing to your skin. I love this place!

I L-O-V-E Glow Skin Spa. I always tell my friends to go there because I feel confident in their services. Their facials are so relaxing and the estheticians are very professional and make you feel right at home. And I am just a melty puddle of happy mush after their massages - no more back pain! I always feel beautiful after I leave Glow Skin Spa. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Glow for a few years now and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is very nice and the services are all terrific. In particular, I began to get facials on a monthly basis beginning about 8 months ago, shortly after I got engaged. Jaime, the aesthetician that I have been working with, has done a wonderful job with my skin. I always leave Glow with, well, a glow! My wedding is this weekend and my skin looks terrific. Jaime really helped educate me on what my face needed and developed a skincare routine for me. I highly recommend Glow Skin Spa and in particular, Jaime.

Once entering this spa, you know you are in for a very special treat. Once guided into your private room, you can sense a zen-like experience is going to happen. Attention to details are extraordinary. The music is soothing. The heated bed relaxes your muscles gently. And then, she begins her magic. Thoroughly cleansing your skin and then giving a complimentary hand treatment that leaves your hand soft as velvet glove. I forget that I had a hectic day, I forget where I am and relax as the mask gently dries on my face. After all of this is over, my skin looks nourished and dewy. I can't wait until my visit to Heaven!!

I started going to Glow skin spa about a year ago. When I first went my skin was a disaster. I had these little tiny bumps that would get inflamed and stay for days. I was really depressed about it, and decided to give facials a try. After my first facial with Jamie Carson at glow I was hooked; my skin started to improve just after the first one.

They do amazing extractions that leave your skin feeling amazing. I remember when i first started to go, my skin was really bumpy because I had these little tiny zits which would get inflamed and now my skin is totally smooth. Their prices are very much reasonable which is great too.

I would recommend Glow to anyone who wants a facial.

I had a wonderful experience at Glow Skin Spa, and I look forward to pampering myself there again soon!
The detox clay body mask felt like it took care of all my winter skin stress and detox. The massage from Rose was absolute heaven and removed knots that had been building up for months.
I felt better than I had in months after my spa treatment, and I recommend it to anyone who has been stressing or just hasn't had enough time for relaxation. It is a few hours of bliss!
The spa was a relaxing and the atmosphere was very comfortable yet chic. The service was great, and it was well worth the trip from Philadelphia! I only wish that Glow would open a location in PHL!

Glow is truly amazing. I found them on Citysearch and I got a facial with Dana. She really took great care of my skin. I also love the upper body massage they give you while the mask is on your face. I felt so relaxed, that when I was getting ready to leave there, I wanted to stay on the table. I can't wait to go back for my next facial (great add on). Now I know why so many people love this Spa.

I have been a Glow Skin Spa devotee for quite a while now, but never took the time to write a review before. From the moment you walk into Glow, you are treated warmly and with a smile. The staff is down to earth and treats everyone with the utmost kindness. I have been to many, many, many spas in Manhattan and this is by far the most relaxed and comfortable I have felt anywhere! I brought my mother with me who has some physical difficulties and the staff took extra good care of her so I could relax too! I think that this is a true reflection on Jillian, the owner, who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome every time whether you are a new client or a regular. The microdermabrasion facials are also wonderful and they too are highly personalized. The staff always gives an honest opinion on what would work best for you and then executes it with the utmost in professionalism. I always leave this place feeling well taken care of and that is what it takes to keep me going back again and again!

This is my first review but I had to share my marvelous experience at Glow Skin. The atmosphere is professional but relaxing. I emerged with my face indeed glowing with the radiance from the cleansing and moisterizing. And indeed, feeling younger, I glowed inside and out. Even my husband noticed.

Pros: An easily reached central Eastside location. Excellent service; no waiting

Cons: No parking near-by

As a teenager I had really bumpy and oily skin. My mother took me to Georgette Klinger and many other famous Madison Avenue/5th Avenue spas, none of them worked for my horrible teenage skin. Now that I'm 26, living in Manhattan and go out often, I want to look as best as possible while wearing as little make up as possible. Although I (thank god) do not have the bumpy oily teen skin, I do have adult acne and the "once a month" HUGE zit that is painful and white. Last year, I decided to attempt to change my skin for the better so I did some extensive research on the best facials for my purpose...clear adult skin.

After my 2nd facial with Glow Skin, my skin was noticeably cleaner, clearer, smoother, and brighter. Facialists at Glow really work magic, my skin has become so wonderful that both my best friends are now going at least once a month. I have a whole new outlook on skin, I know how my skin works, I learned how to care for it, how to protect and maintain it for the future, and I rarely EVER wear make up unless I'm going on a very fancy night out. Glow Skin has given me a new confidence that I have never felt before, I never believed that I had such nice skin under the layers of oil and bumps. I absolutely love taking care of my skin now, and visiting Glow at least once a month. Thank you to Glow Skin Spa and my amazing facialist Keri.

I've had a problem with adult acne that dermotologists were unable to fix. I decided to try regular facials, and found Glow on Citysearch. Was I lucky! I've had four facials with Dana now, have been going every 4-5 weeks. With Dana's thorough attention and the skincare products she recommended (she didn't push anything, just recommended things for my skin type and told me that what I was using was likely contributing to the acne problem) the breakouts have lessened dramatically. I even get comments on how nice my skin looks -- unthinkable a few months back. Bravo!

I have been visiting GLOW for a few months now, and must say every visit is an incredible experience! Being a man, I was a little hesitant to go for a facial. Of course, i gave in and am so glad i did. From the minute i walked in the door, the stress of my daily city life melted away. I was greeted right away by Jillian Wright who walked me through the entire process, putting my mind at ease. I received a signature facial for men, and have been back many times since day one. Every time my experience gets better and better. From the calming music to the many delicious scents, all i can say is, book a visit! You definitely will not regret it!

Pros: Nothing but superb service from the minute you enter!

Cons: Having to leave!
