I find it hard to believe you can walk from one end of the hotel to the other and have such completely different service. The bartenders did everything they could not to make eye contact. My feeling was that they are tired of all the guests, but if you have a convention hotel, get used to it. The menu is too tricked up. I am not asking for the typical tex-mex but on the other end, I found it hard to find anything that looked appealing.

Great restaurant in the heart of the Gaylord Hotel. Fine food and great service, nice atmosphere. The wine list is extensive and pricey but well worth an occassional visit.

Pros: Something for everybody, but I favor the Margarita bar! Arribia!

Cons: Misconcept. People think this is just hotel food, this is a destination and is amazing!

I do not understand why this place has received all of the praise I have read. It is no better than any overpriced hotel restaurant in which I have eaten in any city in the country. Starting with the hostess who told us she couldn't

Cons: Entrees, ambience, very cheap feel for an expensive price

I think Chef Love may have faxed over some menu ideas so Ama Lur could use his name, but that appears to be the extent of his "consulting" duties with this place! The extensive online menu did not exist in reality, and we were told

Cons: poor service, limited menu (though online menu was misleadingly extensive), expensive, food was average overall and quite poor for the price!
