Such a place you will not to leave
Galleria Park is the hotel I recommend for people who want to stay in San Francisco. Decently sized and clean room. Quiet surrounded area.
Attentive and friendly service. Own Private Parking. Complimentary Internet & Wi-Fi access availability. Complimentary evening wine. Historic Cable Car turn-around on Powell Street, two blocks from the gates of Chinatown, and four blocks to the Moscone Convention Center, SF MOMA & Yerba Buena Gardens. Financial District, Museum of Modern Art is also close.

Excellent accomodations
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Galleria Park. The staff was courteous and the hotel was clean and well decorated. The concierge recommended a nice place to eat. Perry's downstairs was convenient but not very good. The hotels location made it easy to walk just about anywhere we wanted to go. The valet was a little slow and fairly expensive. Love the complimentary wine hour!!!

Downtown hotel delivers on MOST accounts
We chose this hotel after seeing its central Financial District location, proximity to the BART, reading online reviews, and comparing prices. The hotel delivers on many accounts, however, you might find a few of the rooms with a broken A/C unit or tv (and watch out for the elevators!). Overall, the staff was friendly, but we had to go to mgmt to fix our problem as the front desk was unaccomodating. The hotel is slowly updating their rooms, working down from the 8th floor, but we had no noise problems (and the model looked good). We utilized the 2 computers downstairs, as well as the evening wine. Also, Perry's Restaurant next door was great! I would stay there again (as long as I could stay away from that certain desk clerk).

Great Hotel at Sutter and Kearney
Galleria Park is the hotel I recommend for people who want to stay in Downtown San Francisco. It is just a few short blocks from great shopping on Union Square. It's also close to the Financial District, Museum of Modern Art, and Moscone Convention Center. No other hotel group comes close to The Kimpton Group when it comes to providing quality, boutique hotels that all have a good restaurant on the premises. Galleria Park is one of The Kimpton Group's crown jewels. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable.
Pros: downtown location, great value, friendly staff
Cons: expensive parking

GREAT value
For $99 a night, we got a decently sized and clean room, FREE coffee and tea in the morning, FREE wine before dinner, FREE internet access in their business center, and very attentive and friendly service in a safe and quiet surrounding area. A welcome rarity. The decor was reminiscent of the Overlook hotel in the Shining, but if you're just there to sleep and drink, who cares?!
Pros: freebies!
