Don't get the lobster tail unless you like it served raw. 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I've been to Morton's San Diego and Morton's Boston so I figured I'd try the Cleveland location (since I'm a Cleveland native). I expected to have a good experience but was somewhat shocked when my girlfriend's lobster tail arrived almost completely raw. I thought the service at this Cleveland location was excellent until we complained about the lobster being undercooked. The server or waiter simply put the uncooked lobster under the broiler for a few minutes and returned it to us. Pretty poor service for a Morton's if you ask me. Also, I was surprised to find the restaurant almost empty for a Friday at 8pm. Is this location going out of business? Sure seemed so. Other than the lobster mishap, the food and service was good.

Pros: service (questionable)
Cons: parking

Way overrated 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

My husband's filet was tender but had no flavor, my lobster was overcooked, and my chocolate molten cake had parsley in it. My daughter's porterhouse, however, was delicious, and the service is great. I have never seen such a jacked-up wine list; wines that I am familiar with were almost tripled. Will not eat dinner there again; there are plenty of other great non-chain restaurants to get a flavorful filet and for less money.

Pros: Service
Cons: Extremely expensive, food should be perfect for the price

As good as ever 5 Star Rating - World class

We haven't been to Morton's in awhile so recently took some friends. I'm happy to report that it is as good as ever. Terrific steak, great side dishes, fine atmosphere, friendly service. Expensive?...of course. We are all looking forward to next time.

Fine Dining at its best! 5 Star Rating - World class

I took my mother here for a pre-theater dinner on 17 DEC 04 and can only say that Morton's Cleveland has a customer for life! From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and prompt in all facets of their operations. The waiter, Steve, to the assistant waiters and bus staff were all very attentive and I cannot remember either my wine glass or water glass getting half empty. The steaks were to die for and the Godiva dessert was, as always, sinful! For those who have not ventured though the doors of Morton's, make plans to do so now! From the detailed menu presentation to the steaks that melt in your mouth this is a first class establishment! Even the salads were huge! If you want first class treatment and even better food, make your reservations now!

Pros: Food was flawless!, First Class Service, Wine selection
Cons: , limited appetizers

Expensive weak steaks 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

The decor, service and side dishes were nice but the steaks weren't. The NY strip had a cheap local grocery store type taste that was dry inside. My wife had a filet steak that was medicore at best. One part of the service that disapointed me though. I asked for some fried shrimp but they only said they only made a baked one.I went to a top Vegas Steakhouse and they made a fried shrimp made to order regardless of what's on the menu. They could put together whatever you wanted. And Oh Yeah- The bill. With 2 steaks, a side of shrimp, 4 sides, 2 drinks and 2 deserts, the bill came too $169.00. They even charged us about 4 bucks for some onions. My advice,Try another Steakhouse in Cleveland.

Pros: Tasty side dishes, Excellent waiters
Cons: , Low quality steaks, Super expensive
