Any restaurant with a slide to the seating area is on my 'best of' lists. The food is great, if you can handle the watered-down ranch dressing on the salads. They serve American food the old fashioned way, and rattlesnake is on the menu.

This has to be one of the best kept secrets in Phoenix. Situated on a hill overlooking the valley Rustlers Rooste is a great western themed place where you can literally slide into your meal. Yes, then have a slide that will take you from the main floor down to the dining floor. In addition they have a great bar and lounge area. The food is good, a bit pricey but worth it for the atmosphere!

The food here is great. The atmosphere is fun and charming. The Western theme will get you in the mood for a steak. The service is excellent. Portions are generous. Live music is a plus. I highly recommend this place when you are in Phoenix.

Diners will enjoy this Western-theme mountaintop steakhouse at the Pointe South Mountain Resort . Besides good food, the restaurant features live country music for listening and dancing, and banquet facilities for up to 1,500. Ranch-style furnishings and cowboy memorabilia add to the casual, country atmosphere. Huge steaks include a 2-pound porterhouse. The menu says, "If you can eat this, we'll let you keep the knife."

This was an amazing place to eat. Not just because of the food, but the view.
Nothing comes close to the view from this place.
The band was great, the food was really good, and if you have never eaten rattle snake, this is the place!
