Mind Altering Massage

The massage you get depends on the person doing the job. Jenny gave me a very good massage, a little painful at a couple of points, but almost entirely relaxing. I think the technique calls for a variety of "touches" - from hard and rough to soft and gentle. It definitely energized me and changed my view of the world for a while. The music is great for getting lost in thought, and I left my massage feeling absolutely giddy. Very sweet people working at Graceful! I would recommend their services and will return. Do try Jenny if you don't want it too rough.

Be prepared!

OK, I went to this place after reading all the glowing reviews - and I went because I had sore muscles and in need of major relaxation...but I think people needs to be prepared for the amount of pain that this type of massage involves!
The whole time I was trying not to scream, but the massage was close to being excruciating. I have to say that it was effective, but it was definitely NOT relaxing and I was also unprepared for the amount of bruising on parts of my body that lasted for a few days.

Fabulous Experience!

I was in dire need of a massage and was more than relieved when I found this little haven. I had asked them about a specific type of massage, one not offered by many people. Quasha is alittle painful and leaves some bruising, but this was the best treatment I have ever received. Anna is amazing! It is alittle to aggressive for most Americans, so they do not offer it on their menu, but I highly recommend it.

This was simply the best massage I ever had. I've travelled all over the world and received massages most everywhere. None of them were as good as the one I got from Joanna. Chinese massage with western influences was just great. I recommend at least an hour.

Guys & gals, this a truely remarkable place. I had my doubts because of all the 10 rating. But after my first massage, I have to agree w/ majority of the ratings on this page. They do offer the best massages compare to all those high price and over rated spa.

Well deserving of a #1 ranking...

I have been getting massages for many years now in a variety of locations and establishments. In fact, no vacation of business trip is complete without a pampering massage.
That being said, Graceful Services has consistently given me the best massages I've ever had. Their specialized technique delivers a massage who's benefits "stay with you", unlike many others that feel good on the table but leave you wanting more the next day.
I would highly recommend Graceful Services to anyone who appreciates a great massage- rookies and experts alike!

Better than Tokyo or Beijing

I live in Tokyo and have lived in China and in China the negotiation stars AFTER you sign the contract, not at Graceful services. These women know what they are doing and do it in a professional, skillful and most pleasant way. I visit Grace's shop every time I am in New York and find it well worth my tie and money. You get the best, most relaxing massage I have ever had; and you get the same treatment time after time after time.

Friendly staff, the atmosphere is not perfume and classical music, but with the prices they charge you can't beat the massage. Be ready for some serious muscle pounding, but you'll feel like a butterfly the next day! If you're very modest, say so up front though .. the massage is thorough. Great buy in the city, plus they're open till 10 pm!!

I've never had a better, more skillful or more therapeutic massage. It gave me long-lasting relief from my chronic backache, reduced tension and made me feel oh-so-relaxed.
