My wife and I visited Prime on a romantic night out and were nothing less then thrilled. The service was amazing and the food brilliant! The fillet was savory and the parmesan chicken was tasty as well. The atmosphere could not be better and the view of the fountains is nearly breathtaking."

We always go here when ever someone form out of town stays at the bellagio. The Price is steep but so worth it. I have this favorite table that i love to sit at its kinda found how it came about but it defentilly works. The soups are great and they use fresh pepper on the salad i love that. Good job.

I love the Bellagio, and this restaurant is special, romantic and the food was excellent. We don't often go to a steak house style restaurant, but we both ordered steaks cooked perfectly. My partner had a salad to go with the meal. I recommend trying this restaurant for a special meal.

From the moment me and my friends walked in, the service was very attentive and impeccable. The decor is great and even better if you can get a table with a good view. Me and my one friend ordered the porterhouse steak, my other friend had the sea bass. We also ordered a bottle of wine and several side dishes. Everything was cooked and prepared wonderfully and we had a great dining experience.

My family and I dined at Prime at our hotel the Bellagio for my twin daughter's 21st birthday, we got our drinks form the bar and then sat at our table. Our waiter was upset that we got drinks from the bar and not with him, when he came over he did not even say welcome us, he said with a rude tone " I see you already have your drinks...can i get you any bottle or sparkling water? We said just ice water for now please, then then responded with his nose in the air "You mean tap!?" As if he was better then us. I'm sorry but I am not about to pay $15 for a bottle of Fiji water. The whole night he was VERY rude and did not even check back on us when the food was dropped off. The bus boy took care of us better then the server. During the meal we all wonder where our waiter was and that we had not seen him in 30 minutes (No Joke) We asked every server that went by to get him but he never came by. We flagged down the manager and he did not seem to care that we were all upset and that our night was basically ruin because of this obnoxious waiter. If your family comes in and spends a lot of money i would expect great service but this was not the case. Go to TAO at the Venetian!! Amazing food, great service and a friendly staff!!

My husband and I travel to Vegas at least 3 times a year and usually like to try different upscale restaurants for dinner. This time, we decided to try Prime since we were staying at the Bellagio. With no reservations on a Saturday night, the hostess was able to accommodate us with hardly any wait time. The service was impeccable without being bothersome. At one point, my husband dropped his fork and within seconds, a waiter came out of nowhere with a new one served on a silver platter. More impressive though was the food. Honestly, it was truly spectacular! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were equally as impressive as the main dishes. Since we did not have a reservation, we were unable to get a window table to view the Bellagio fountains at night. That is definitely a must next time!

I had dinner here while was on vacation. Prime is a must try for all steak lovers although a bit pricey. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked to order. I highly recommend the chilled seafood platter. The servers were excellent and the wine list was plentiful. I wouldn't recommend straying from the basic steak entree otherwise you'd be remorseful you did.

I had high expectations for Prime. I was disappointed in the food and service. There was nothing special about the food. Any restaurant at that price provides the same food if not better. The only thing that impressed me was the decoration. The serving staff was decent, and relatively knowledgeable about the menu. My evening was however ruined by the very rude hostess that 'greeted' us. After her refusing to seat us after keeping us waiting much past our reservation time, we were seated in a back corner even though our reservation was for a waterfront table. I don't mind paying for an excellent restaurant, but poor food and attitude from a server is not acceptable. I will never dine at this place again.

We had a 7PM reservation and were seated promptly. We did have to wait a while before we were offered a beverage. If that were the worst of the evening, I'd have been more than pleased. However, the food was barely edible. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and let me say, I never knew that a good fish could taste so lousy. It was supposed to be in a lemongrass/tomato broth. Whatever the fish was flavored with was unrecognizable to me and I could barely choke it down. I did not send it back because my friends cousin was our server and I didn't want to cause any hard feelings. My sister was with me and she got the New York Strip Steak. It was better than my fish, but not the best steak she has had. She actually thought she'd made better steak herself. Of the three sauces served with the steak, only one tasted ok. The others were overseasoned...(my brother is a chef trained at le cordon bleu, so I have experience with gourmet food and its preparation).

I have no problem paying top dollar for a meal and walking away pleased. At their prices I should have been blown away, but I was only left feeling a little sick to my stomach (literally). It was so bad that I wouldn't consider giving them a 2nd chance. What a waste of one of our few nights in Vegas.

We first found Prime in 2001 and it is a must stop everytime we are in Vegas - we actually book our flights and hotel room around getting a reservation at Prime. To date it is our favorite restaurant in the world!! We have never been disappointed! Obviously you pay for the great food, service and atmosphere but we would tell you it is worth every penny! (We paid $300 for 3 courses and 4 drinks, plus tip.) From the appetizers to the steaks we had, all the way to the dessert, it was deliscious and perfect! We love the fact that we can always count on the staples of the menu always being there and that they always have a specials to tantilze our taste buds. Not to mention, when we are greeted by our waiter he calls us by name. Make reservations early, it can be very difficult to get into, as they book up well in the advance. Bon Appitete!

Just like certain celebrities this place has lots of hype, glitz and popularity but fails to match it with substance. The ambiance is nice but if you?re not seated in front of the fountains, it?s no better than any other high end steakhouse in a large city. The service was on par for Vegas: decent but in an uninterested and robotic sort of way. My only major complaint was that the waiter refused to accommodate a special request we had for one of the appetizers because it ?would interfere with the chef?s presentation.? It?s not like I?m the customer or anything. The food is indeed very good but for each appetizer, salad and entree ordered by my group, I can honestly say I?ve had better. The salad and bread are better down the hall at Olives, the mozzarella and tomato salad is better at the Treasure Island Steakhouse, the steak is better at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, the bisque is better at Kokomo?s. I guess when you have to plunk down a small pile of c-notes for a party of four, you hope that you?ll remember more than just the bill.

The food certainly wasn't bad, but I expected far more from a premier steakhouse. I had the 28oz. bone in rib... a bit over done and cooked too evenly through, would expect more for $78. The filet my partner had was acceptable. The creamed spinach was good, but the asparagus was too overcooked.

What Prime does have is a great view. Request a table by the windows when you make your reservation, or you're better off choosing one of the dozen other steakhouses in Vegas.

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to get a window seat with a perfect view of the fountains at night (booked online and requested it). The waiter told my girlfriend that George Clooney sat in that very seat the night before, and although I'm sure he uses that line every day, the view was definitely Clooney-worthy. The service was impeccable. The food was very, good. I've had better steaks, but they were few and far between. The signature sauces that come with the steak were particularly good...as was the crabcake appetizer. The desert, cheesecake with tangerine compote, may have been the highlight of the meal. It was very expensive, but great food and even better service comes at a price. Was I, in fact, ready to take the plunge, this would be a great place to get down on one knee...

I have only eaten a Prime once. I have eaten at several high end restaurants in Vegas. The view here is a great one. Because it is different from any other vantage point. This place is romantic and expensive. I think that the Eiffel Tower Restaurant is better in about everyway. The food here is great but for the price you pay it should be outstanding and it wasn't for us.

this is a place to impress, sure there prices are high, but the food is very good and very creative sauces that go along with your steaks, the service was excellent, quality of the beef very good i would not say the very best but in the top ten in vegas for sure,so if you want to dress up and have steak with the rich and famous ,go to prime you will not be dissapointed!

I'll keep this very short. Service is excellent and friendly. The steaks and the multiple sauces are wonderful. Please order the ribbons of tuna appetizer, its possibly the best starter I have ever tried.
I just wish they had a kobe skirt steak. Mr "V" are you listening?

The place was beautiful and very private. To really get a view of the fountain, you should really sit outside. I loved how my drink NEVER went empty. My pork chop were so thick and my boyfriend's steak was tender. The Prime is more recognized for their special sauces. Overall, serivces was excellent and food was great!

It would be hard to find a steakhouse experience more perfect than at Prime! The service is impeccable! The food is great time and time again! Be sure to request one of the tables by the window to get the view of the fountains when the show comes on. Also make reservations FAR in advance! Popular conventions make this even more challenging, so plan ahead! If you go with a group of people who love seafood, I recommend getting the seafood platter on ice appetizer. It comes with King Crab Legs, oysters, and shrimp with an assortment of sauces to dip them in. And the platter looks quite impressive too! But don't let the idea of an appetizer fool you into thinking this is small! By all means, it is not!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We had a table by the window that looked out to the fountains. The view was wonderful. The service was very attentive - the waiter pulled out my chair for me and placed my napkin on my lap. The steaks and the sides were very good. Every aspect of Prime succeeds. We had a wonderful experience at Prime and would highly reccommend the restaurant. I am looking foward to dining here again.

For my fiance's b-day I made reservations, working within the Bellagio and close friends with reservation specialist and the hostess, I was excited. Perhaps I expected too much? The server was very non attentive, as well as the bus service. We had to wait for drinks, ask for bread refills, were not told the specials like other tables around us, had to refill our own water. Even as we looked around the room, which is decorated very classy, in dark brown and ice blues, other staff just avoided our glances when we were in need. I have travelled the world and eaten at many esteemed places and I was not feeling the love here. If you are young, don't go, they'll treat you with less respect and attentiveness. That night I was proposed to, and the staff response was....so what. Very dissapointed.

Have been to The Prime on a number of occasions including my rehearsal dinner as well as small intimate dinners. The service is pure perfection which is in perfect harmony with the food, begining to end. My absolute favorite is the fresh seafood on ice....presentaion, presentation, presentation. The sommelier was superb and after an amazing dinner was kind enough to get us a table out on the patio to enjoy champagne and dessert under the fountains. The steaks are aged and just melt in your mouth...everyone was amazed at how good a steak could be. Go and enjoy!

I recently ate at Prime with my girlfriend over Valentine's Day, and it was one of the most impressive and memorable dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food was amazing, but the service was impeccable. If you have the opportunity ot go, as for a table by the lake, and request Walter - he was the most attentive waiter I have had in a long time.

My wife and I are Vegas junkies but had steered clear of the higher-end restaurants. We decided to expand our horizons and it paid off at Prime. Best steak ever. You must try the shrimp cocktail and truffle mashed potatoes. The rice/soy steak sauce was great. Service was outstanding. Try to get reservations early and request a table lakeside - can't beat the view.

I would recommend Prime to any and everyone .

From Peter Luger's to Michael Jordan's...from Smith & Wollensky to Maloney & Porcelli...if you are going to Vegas, love great steak and fabulous sides...this is the one to go to!! Great steakhouses do not typically differ greatly...but with the tremendous service here (try to get Chad to serve your table)..the exceptional sommelier and winelist...this steakhouse became something else...grand and magnificent as well as a great place to get a great steak (and try the truffled mashed potatoes and roasted wild mushrooms with your steak)..spend the money here instead of at the slot machines...you'll remember this experience far better.

What a disappointment. The manager was too busy ignoring us. Maybe we didn't tip him enough, or we didn't look important enough to get a good spot.

Could the food have possibly taken any longer? A few evolutionary epochs later it finally arrived but was average at best and overpriced by far. Lovely view, lousy experience.

Delmonico, however, was very reasonable, professional, and quite delicious.

The PRIME Steakhouse was excellent. Our dinners were culinary masterpieces! The service was impeccable and the view of the Bellagio fountains just added to the beautiful ambiance. Be prepared to break the bank on this one! Their food is EXPENSIVE, but definately a once in a lifetime treat!

My husband and I dined here last week~ I am still talking about it! I had the Filet Mingon - It was the best steak I have ever had! The Ginger sauce was Incredible! The service was amazing! Beautiful resturaunt! Great steak that melts in your mouth! I thought it was impossible to find such a great steak out of the State of Texas- I was wrong! My compliments to the Chef!!

We are partial towards the Bellagio since we were married there. We had our reception Dinner at the Prime, and to the last person they said that it was easily the best steak and potatoes they had ever had. The seafood appetiser albeit expensive was excellent! The atmosphere and service were perfect, we had at least 2 waiters at our tables constantly at our beck and call. Most expensive dinner I ever paid for and most expensive tip I ever left. We have been back since just the wife and I, and the food was stil "Prime," but it would be hard to match our previous experience. Hands down I recommend!

We were looking forward to Prime as one of the highlights of our trip...we were so wrong. We were seated promptly and then left at our table for 15 minutes without a word from anyone. We were a younger table (in our 20s), but we dressed up and had $$ to spend, which we would have on alcohol if the service and food were better.
The food was a total and complete disappointment;our steaks were cold and overcooked, and the vegetable portions were ridiculous: a side of asparagus that cost $12 consisted of 4 spears of asparagus cut in half and laid on a plate. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were small and bland.
Don't waste your money on Prime. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food and service is the biggest rip-off I've encountered in Vegas. Visit the Prime patio bar to watch the fountains, but that's it.

Not only is Prime in the Bellagio which makes it good it is a delicious steakhouse all around. If you want fancy they've got it, if you want plain...no problem. They are accomodating and attentive to their guests needs. The atmosphere is good because it feels comfortable yet distinguished and elegant. I would recommend anyone to go there if you are willing to pay the price for a well worth it dining experience.

This was the most incredible place I have ever been.Perhaps I am jaded since I love the Bellagio and this is where I had my wedding reception. The service was Phenominal, the food was A work of art in presentation and Taste! The staff made us feel as if we were the only patrons in their restaurant....Decor and atmosphere was delightfully romantic and comfortable. Not as expensive as one would think for such food and service...certainly worth the trip to Vegas!

This is a stunningly beautiful restaurant, with a well conceived menu. The view of the bellagio fountains is a bonus. One of the top three steakhouses in Las Vegas.

We were a party of four for a special occasion dinner and were totally disappointed by the atmosphere and the food. Primary disappointment and very expensive, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to celebrate!

A perfect execution of location, decor, service and food make Prime one of the three or four very best restaurants in Las Vegas and easily the best steakhouse. Prime's adept waiters and perfect execution of every dish, sauce and detail are unobtrusively flawless. A great wine list and smooth presentation will top off an evening you'll not soon forget. One of the few times you'll spend this much and really get what you pay for.

For the money it was the worst steak I've ever had.
The waiters were the snobbiest I've ever seen. You are expected to follow etiquette rules, when the restaurant itself doesn't follow them. I recommend "Rincon de Buenos Aires" if you are looking for a casual dining experience with the best tasting steaks in town. And save yourself the $30 difference.
If you are the type that thinks that because it's more expensive it tastes better this place is for you. Because you could be eating poopy platter and it tastes like filet mignon.
