Ratings_icons While I appreciate

Rodrigues D.

While I appreciate the positive comment - the other comments are very true. Karen and Cynthia DO KNOW what they are doing. As a matter of fact, I've been to 3 boot camps. BUT -- -- they are clique(y) - yes they are. -- Cynthia can be a mean something - yes she can.-- they can be prone to saying inappropriate - embarrassing things - yes they can.-- and it DOES FEEL LIKE HIGH SCHOOL all over again - yes it does.I did look damn good when I left though...but I thought they were trying to get me to quit...I'm way too stubborn for that :-)

Ratings_icons You can't just sit on a bike and expect the pedals to move themselves!!

Karla G.

OMG! I am so shocked to have read some of the reviews. First off, the Bootcamp helped me lose 60lbs from Sept 2008 till now, why? Because I was committed and dedicated! People who say that the Bootcamp isn't worth it is probably because they didn't lose any weight because they didn't follow instructions! You can lead the horse to the well but you can't force it to drink. If people think that RPM is "clique-y" it's not, some people are just more social than others. If you go and spin and not talk to anyone or you go to spin and sit in the back of the class how are you supposed to be noticed? And to comment on the resistance, it's obvious, if you are not told in a class not to add any, ask! Or sign up for personal training. When an instructor is teaching a class of 20 people it is impossible to tell every single person what to do. I personally give RPM Fitness Studio 10 STARS. The owners are strict, knowledgeable and amazing. Remember, you go to the gym to LOSE weight not to make friends... Friends are a bonus!

Ratings_icons Boot Camp is a Bust...Not worth your time or $$

K G.

The bootcamp at this location is definitely NOT worth your time or $$$. Karyn one of the instructors constantly forgets to mention things like don't add resistance to the spinning class if you're doing the Bootcamp. My thighs bulked up within the first 2 weeks. There was also no help with the nutrition portion, no follow up, no talk about the plan since all of us had different blood types and they are against you talking to the other students about your nutrition. I just finished the 5 week program, 3 days a week and at the end of the 5 week course, instead of doing a round up of the session, I was being pressured to join another unworthy Bootcamp session. What would change? Karyn being late to start the class. (this happened often). OR is she going to ignore the new students even more? Especially if you tell her something is not going right. You'll be ousted.
Honestly, if you are a new client, take advantage of the 20 spin classes for $100 and that is all. They do not tend to the new students as they advertise. It is a clique and a bit of high school drama.

Ratings_icons Be prepared to sweat !

If you are a hardcore spinning addict - you've found the right place! Cynthia and Karen (owners/sisters/trainers) don't seem to have any body fat and they want to help you get rid of yours too - with intensive workout options. In addition to spinning classes they have a bootcamp program, yoga, pilates, personal training.

Cynthia's spin music is awesome and she takes no prisoners - don't let her catch you looking at your neighbor on her bike during class - she will take you down! This is hard core and serious.

They often have open houses on the weekend - so you can try classes for free.

PROS: Knowledgeable instructors
CONS: Can be clique-y.
