Davis-Kidd Booksellers and Cafe

I love this bookstore! It's 2 stories and they have a huge selection of anything you would need or want that's book or reading related. They also have a big selections of stationary and gifts (which I love getting at bookstores). They have a great selection of Vera Bradley bags too!

What a great way to have a nice afternoon, tea in the upstairs while finding just what magazines and books to buy. Great cards and an excellent gift section.

If ever there was a great bookstore, this is it! They have EVERYTHING! You can browse any title you can think of and if they don't have it, they'll get it for you. This is more like a mini mall. Two stories of pure heaven-especially if you love reading as much as I do. If you get bored and need somewhere to go, this is the place! You can read and have coffee, or sit down and chat with friends. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. The place is beautiful and the environment is very welcoming.

If you are looking for a good read--this is the place to go. They have everything and right when you walk in the door, there are their bestsellers, both fiction and non-fiction. They have a huge children's sections with a great train table for the kiddies to play with. The coffee shop is quaint and you can take your new-found book and sit and have a cup of coffee. There are several gift sections and also several book clubs. They even offer a discount on book club purchases. This is a fun and unique book store.

Davis-Kidd is a nice alternative to the chain bookstores that all kind of look alike. Their two-story store is quite large and they have every sort of book that you can imagine, including a large selection of new releases. A cafe is located on the second level.
